I paid for this app outright years ago and was happy with it. The app has since been redesigned so that previously purchased functionality is effectively inaccessible without a subscription. New features are one thing; removing the practical value of a paid purchase is another. Prospective buyers should understand that a one-time purchase may not remain usable over time.
Amazing anatomy, frustrating interface
Just had a nice view going with cranial nerve 9 only for it to only be erased because I apparently chose to look at tongue model rather than add tongue feature. UI leaves much to be desired… added too many features before it was as intuitive as other apps… Needs a quick dissection feature to remove parts quick. Too many popups and different menus/model types… could be 5 star very easily if the interface was more simple and intuitive as a default and progress was saved when app was not used for extended periods.
Cannot sign in
I have a new 13” iPad Pro (M6) running iOS 26.2.1. I downloaded the app and tried to sign in. The app opened a small window to elsevier.com. However the window is completely blank and I cannot sign in. I downloaded the app to my husband’s older iPad Pro also running iOS 26.2.1 and there I was able to sign in. Can you please fix this bug? Thx. P.S. I love this app.

app is really cool but there appears to be no real way to cancel subscription. There directions in the support that lead to nowhere. Be careful with this one.
Great but isn’t Playing Nice with iPad OS26
As the title says, this app is great as far as it’s content goes. It’s incredible if you’re taking an A&P course. However, there are some huge issues that seem to be because it isn’t optimized for os26. For example, the home and back buttons are stuck behind the new floating “x,-,expand” buttons that they introduced with os26. This makes navigating the app in anything other than full screen annoying at best and occasionally downright impossible. I often will just close the app because it’s faster than the alternatives. Second, resizing the app in the new os26 ecosystem simply doesn’t work very well. It refuses to size itself in many ways and often the app will get itself stuck in a layout that no longer fills in the app screen. Frankly, a full rethink of the layout in this new os26 world may be in order, especially considering the yearly price of this app. This thing should be a seamless experience, but it is far from it as of January 2026. The thing is, the app worked much better before I was on os26, which is why I believe it is just a massive optimization issue. There’s also occasional crashes but it’s far from the biggest issue considering how finicky it has become to use the app post os26. I hope this is seen as constructive criticism because the content of this app is truly phenomenal, but the experience of using it has left me frustrated.
Extremely helpful, some small mistakes
This app was very helpful for my anatomy class. I found 2 errors however 1. The oculomotor nerve courses between the Posterior Cerebral Artery and the Superior Cerebellar artery. The app shows it above the PCA. This is clinically significant because an aneurysm of either artery can cause CN III compression and its associated symptoms 2. The vertebral veins usually pass through the C7 transverse foramen. The app shows it entering at C6 with the vertebral artery. In most specimens it passes through C7

Amazing App But…
This app has definitely helped me visual the human body for anatomy classes and really understand. The only thing is that I have it on my iPad and the zoom in/out function is not good, I believe a zoom in/out knob would facilitate it.

Appreciate feedback fixes my original complaint of having to login consistently resolved. Love the app and its continued improvements. Hope it continues to improve in smaller branch nerves. Love it as a resident
Horrible and Expensive
I may have considered paying the money for the app if it was not so horrible. The sign in is clunky at best and that is when it works and does not redirect you 5 or 6 times. Then while using the app it will randomly drop what you are doing to make you sign in 3 or 4 more times. Horrible much better options out there that are not $119 a year.

Can you make models for bony labyrinth of the ear showing all the canals and the stuffs it entails
Wouldn’t recommend for iPad - Would Recommend for Mac - Here are the drawbacks:
I’m an Osteopathic student a few years into my studies - I just got an iPad Pro 13” (M5, 1TB, 16GB Unified Memory) mainly for Notes and Complete Anatomy (which I was very excited about). However, after downloading the app onto my iPad and previously using C.A. On my MacBook Air, here’s some things you should know IF you’re considering the transition like I was: If you want to use C.A. On the iPad, you CANNOT use a keyboard trackpad (e.g., ESR, Logitech, Magic Keyboard) to zoom in and out of the C.A. Model like you would on a regular trackpad for MacBook air’s/pros (Previous Mac users know this is bringing your index and middle finger together, and swiping up or down on the trackpad to zoom in and out, OR alternatively, pinching or expanding the fingers together). You can ONLY use your fingers to zoom in and out on the actual iPad screen (not trackpad) when using C.A, however you will be able to rotate the model 360 degrees in C.A. With the TRACKPAD AND your FINGERS on the screen (imo, you should be able to have the option to do both). Secondly, you CANNOT use the trackpad to click on the “Active Features” (e.g., Tabs, Tools, Save Screen, Settings, etc.). Utilizing the trackpad and clicking will NOT work. I’ve taken videos and will be sending them to their tech support. Again, you can ONLY select these “Active Features” if you’re using your fingers on the actual iPad screen (again, imo, it’s great to have the ability to use your fingers to select and scroll and zoom on things, but you should be able to do both if you want to revert to using a trackpad). Thirdly, C.A.’s “Close (Red “x”), Minimize (Yellow “-“), and “Expand full screen” (Green) in the tab bar is located right in the TOP LEFT corner where C.A.’s “Tab”, “Home” and “Undo/Redo” Buttons are. So trying to select these aren’t impossible, but difficult, and frustrating as you can mistakenly or accidentally select green, yellow, or red buttons (closing, minimizing or expanding the app) when your intention was to really open up another C.A. Tab, or select Home, or hit the Undo button on C.A…. To me, it’s been a complete turn off from switching my C.A. Use from MacBook to IPad, and it pains me to say it, but I’ll be returning the iPad and going back to my C.A. Use on the MacBook.

Outstanding Anatomy App and Incredible Customer Service
I’ve been using and enjoying this app regularly for years. With the recent name change (purchased by another company perhaps?), my access was removed, and I was going to be forced to buy an annual membership to retain the access I already had. It is such a superior product I would have done so if need be, but a quick, pleasant interaction with Nicola and my access was restored. I would highly recommend these guys.
I paid for this app years ago and now its is gone
I paid a lot for this app years ago and got very satisfactory content. Over the years you have improved and added to that content. But now you have changed our original deal to a subscription. I paid for content and did not ask for more but you have taken content from me and held it for ransom. In my mind this is a violation of a contract. In short FRAUD.
Quizzes
This app has been so helpful throughout my time getting my degree in physical therapy, but one thing I struggle with is the quiz glitches. Every time I try to make a quiz, it won’t let me take it. I’ve tried it in many different setting on many different networks and still nothing. That would be a goldmine if I could quiz myself on complete anatomy

The app is great for the gross anatomy of all systems but i really wish if you add a more detailed cns especially the brain so we can do cross sections and see more details because now if you try to hide a part of the brain the whole thing gets hidden
Incredible App
This app is amazing the UI is beautiful and simplistic while having a thought out design this is not only the best anatomy app I’ve seen but the best app in general. All the praise for keeping it free.
Scam! DO NOT BUY
I purchased this for $45 and was able to access different models. Now, without warning or notifying me, my $45 purchase gives me the same extremely limited access as not even having an account! I cannot access any model besides skeletal and connective tissue, where before I could access all the models.
Great app, but major Apple Pencil bug
Complete Anatomy has been incredibly helpful in my studies, and I normally don’t leave reviews — but this issue needs attention. When using the Apple Pencil to interact with the 3D model, the app suddenly stops responding to finger input. You can still pinch to zoom, but rotation and structure selection with your fingers no longer work. It’s as if the app locks itself into Pencil-only mode, and the only fix is to force close and reopen it. This doesn’t happen when using the Pencil in menus — only when touching the 3D model. The Apple Pencil + finger combo is one of the iPad’s biggest advantages, and it’s frustrating to lose that functionality, especially in such a premium app. Please fix this — the app deserves better.
Amazing app but it loses sight of its consumer base
Downloaded this app during the first week of PT school and was amazed by its content. However, when I first purchased full access I paid $35, and now a year later it has gone up to $75. I am not sure if I got some kind of special price for at the time but the price is egregious either way. Overhead is minimal for an app like this to run and to justify the price based on expert videos posted is still ridiculous. The experts deserve to get paid fairly, but still charging a recurring fee of a minimal $75 is wild to me. Isn’t this app made for students struggling with high cost of education already? If this is instead made for professionals who already have the means to pay such a high price, then cut out the experts videos and education since board certified professionals no longer need it. To anyone else reading this, there are absolutely other apps out there that still do what this one does. Please don’t feel forced into a subscription for this one thinking this is the pinnacle that nothing else can match. You do not need this and if you are willing to pay this much money for an app like this, I guarantee you are driven enough to find help from somewhere else that has more integrity.

Although there is a $50 one-time purchase in the App Store listing, there is no such option once you are in the app and go to the Manage Account settings. As a casual user interested in learning enough to talk with doctors, trainers and physical therapists, a subscription, even at the student rate, is not justified. I am quitting during the short 3-day free trial.
Great anatomy app
A little slow to load the different layers at times. But this must be due to how detailed all the structures are.
Student but now everything is locked?
Used to be able to access everything as a student now I have to pay more for access to features I already had before? I had full access for a year! HONOR THAT! Sound like a lawsuit to me!

Model itself is great, some of the features and bugs not so much.
As a PT student, having a visual 3D model with the ability to save screens for easy recall to what I’m studying is great. However, I feel like the quiz feature could be revamped in a way that allows for more customization. Like, interacting with the model for identification and then needing to give OIAs customized for whatever text you’re using. Then come the bugs. When the app is windowed, it’s just as bad as the PC version. It can’t simply just be resized without throwing a massive fit about it and will crop toolbars off the page. It also freezes as soon as I use my apple pencil, which defeats the purpose of using it in the first place, which is to not have to zoom in every single time I want to click on a structure. And then sometimes it just straight up freezes for no reason. I don’t understand how these bugs haven’t been fixed yet.

Was nice while it lasted.
Has far has I know, I paid for this app once, years ago. I’ve used this multiple times a year since. Never had a subscription, and was able to fully display all of the layers of the basic models. It was very useful for my medical needs. It was a 4 or 5 star program. Today, I go to look at the human sinuses, and everything is locked. I can put skin layers on the model, but that’s it. Everything else is suddenly locked behind a paywall. Restoring purchases does not help. So, now the developer wants more money, just to restore the function I already had, for years. I’m not a student, or a professional. Just an old fart that likes to look at the things the doctors are talking about. I have no money for subscriptions, and can’t support this apparent attempt to milk more money out of this program. It’s a shame. This was my go to anatomy program, but no longer.
Great app, but has bugs
This is such a wonderful app for learning anatomy. The amount of detail is so impressive- I truly don't know if I would even pass anatomy without it. However, it has been really annoying me recently because after five minutes of usage the app freezes and I have to reload it. I hope this can be fixed soon!
Slow, buggy and clunky
This would be a great app IF it worked. I try and open up anything that’s not the model and it doesn’t run. The app takes forever to load even on WiFi and won’t let me view any of the materials that I want to use to study.

Love it! But...
I love all the contents and how there are actual lectures (divided in detail as well!) which are really helpful for an undergrad student like me. But the only thing is that it gets quite annoying when it refreshes the entire program (and goes back to main screen) every time i open another app - regardless of how long I use (i mean, if I used the other app for an hour or more, I can understand that - but this happens even when I use the other app for only like 2 minutes) the other app. This didn’t happen when I first downloaded it which is about 3 or so weeks ago, so if this could get fixed somehow, this app would be flawless. Thank you!
Has the potential to be great but isn’t.
I used to love this app and it was my go to for anatomy learning and even showing patients in my profession but lately for the last 6 months I have been running into bug after bug with this application. Randomly closing down, not loading anything, reverting back to opening with nothing there..Not sure what is happening, I even have the newest iPad and still running into issues.. Shame because this used to be really good and now I question if it’s worth the cost.

Misleading free app
Only provides 3d models of skeleton for free, requires upgrade to get any organ models
Not a replacement for a textbook
On a body system level it’s pretty good. But when it comes to organ, tissue, or cellular levels it is nonexistent. I understand that it may be difficult to create an app that goes further in depth, but it would be nice to go a little deeper. For example: the eye. It would be nice to be able to cut the layers of the eye and explore that intricate body part (blood vessels, sclera, choroid, retina, optic disc, fovea centralis, etc.). Instead you are just left with the eye and nothing else to do with it. My point is that it is sufficient for gross A&P but not the fine A&P. At this point it is at best an adjunct for only certain lessons in a textbook. Update: They are starting to add in more detail to certain tissues and structures such as muscle tissue and vascular structures. Locating that information in the app could be made clearer. I am increasing my ratings to reflect the improvements.
