Buggy
When it works; it’s great. I’ve uninstalled and installed 3 times now and can’t get it to connect to my Anyscope
Do Not Update to v. 1.0.18 Broke
Have a USB-C scopearound endoscope. Worked great on version 1.0.15 but since updating to 1.0.18 it no longer takes photos or video and worse it removed all my saved photos and videos of my eardrum from surgery. Will update review if developer fixes this. 11/20/25 Another update but app still broke. No longer takes photos or video through app. Have to use my camera screenshot to take photo of my eardrum. Video does not work. No customer service sent many requests no response. 12/24/25 Another app update and still broke. Still does not take pics or video. But it keeps asking you to give full permission to access ALL your photos? Why does this app now want access to all my photos? Even the sample photos of the app show it won’t take photos or video there blank. What a rip off you buy the ScopeAround and the booklet tells you to download this app and it doesn’t work anymore after version 1.0.15 New update 6-14-26 Finally this developer updated and fixed this app issue. It now takes photos again using my ScopeAround endoscope and saves them to my library so I can’t lose them. I have updated my star count from 1 star up to 4 stars. It took almost a year but finally it’s fixed!! Thanks
Not saving pictures
It started working very well. Here a little while ago, the app stopped saving pictures. I get an exclamation mark on the picture. There is no picture saved. Sometimes, I have just seconds to get a picture, but that is ruined and it will not save. I’ve tried it on two different iPhones and still the same response. Why is this not working?
It’s okay but needs a major improvement.
My biggest gripe is that the display doesn’t rotate to orient with which part of the display is pointing up. The cord plugs in at the bottom of iPhones and iPads…which is contrary if you want to set it down while using the attached scope. The cord doesn’t come with a 90-degree plug.
Works well
For $24 or whatever this cost this is not bad at all. Worked well. No issues with the app. Not sure why it’s rated so poorly.

Another sad waste of money. Will not connect, even with multiple attempts with various adapters.
Works great
It works great. It’s just not that complex. It’s simple which I guess is OK easy to use decent. I will provide an update soon once I use it more.
Light
Camera is ok quality for its size, durability looks great, app just doesn’t allow much setting or customization but the basics. Being able to time. Off light is not a basic apparently, when the light sometimes makes everything blurry or alters the color. So not bad bad but not the great great, if ur spending money maybe spend a bit more for something u can use for EVERYTHING not just some things
Don’t know why it has a low rating?
App works very well for me. Very well. If you’re looking for a button to change lenses from side to front view, you won’t find it in the app because there’s a physical button on the cable, where light adjustment also is, to do this. If you are looking for where your video(s) are you just tap lower left image ‘then’ on the next screen that comes up tap the word ‘videos’ and they appear. After that there are export functions using same Apple iOS method every other app uses.

Stopped working after 15 minutes
Easy to use in Android and iPhone, until it stops working. I tried all the troubleshooting tips. The camera did go through a small amount of water while we were threading it through a pipe - don’t know if that’s what caused it.
Perfect for my need
I’ve had an inner ear infection for months now and it has allowed me to document my healing process. I would like to download the album of photos but don’t see how. Oh and photos don’t label left or right ear.
Security alert
If you don’t allow full access to your photos, you can’t take pictures or videos. Ridiculous.

Depends on camera model
I have two separate scopes that use this app. One works fine, the other does not work at all. The light on the camera lights up but no video signal and the app does not recognize the scope being plugged in.
Pretty much Plug and play.
Easy to use, the one nuance is that it has it’s own photo gallery that you must select from and download to your regular photo gallery if you want to send the images taken with your scope to other people. Got it for my Teslong Dual Lens snake scope. Be aware if your scope has a physical camera switch button on it, the camera switch button in the app won’t appear. Use the manual button in this case.

Tried it didn’t work for iPhone, bought an adapter, still didn’t work, returned it got another one didn’t work, tried it on MacBook didn’t work
Einwandfrei
Die App funktioniert perfekt einfach das beiliegende Ortoscope einstecken. Dann fragte das iPhone ob ich die App installieren möchte und alles funktionierte reibungslos. Man kann Fotos und Videos machen, das Bild spiegeln oder die Farben auf grau anpassen, und so weiter sehr einfach zu benutzen. Keine Ahnung, warum hier jemand nur ein Stern gegeben hat und noch nicht mal einen Text dabei schreibt. Das kann ich auf jeden Fall nicht nachvollziehen.
Stopped Working!
Worked great when I first got it, now it says the camera is not connected to my phone but the light is on. I’ve deleted the app and re-downloaded twice but it still Doesn’t work
Doesn't work at all
Since this device uses USB-C, that means having to use a USB-C to male adapter. Nothing happens upon plugging in the device. I did test it with an Android device and THAT works.
