Trying to Get back Started
The game is great and can be a bit addictive if you really get into it. I played Overmortal back in 2023 and had to stop for awhile cause I needed to focus on other things, but now I’m trying to come back to the game but I can’t seem to load up my old character or just connect to another server. My character name is XiaoFan I was in server 28180-Terraindom s80. My character has over 30B in power and is at the wholeness (C) stage. I would like to be able to continue with my old character than having to start over.
Deleted
I have played this game for 2 years. Not spending even a pennies for this and i have made my mind up to delete this game for several reason dead server, bullies, game is p2w… and it take really really long and hard time to grind through the stage.
This game is good but…
Why it takes more time for logging in the game this morning (August 22) and now (2am August 23), before was not. It’s so delaying, i can log in game but nothing happen, I can’t play with that stuff, can someone help me pls. For sure my wifi still good with other games
Decent but lacking
The game crashes randomly even after I’ve used the fix, the other day I loaded in and most things weren’t in English even though my language settings were unchanged and still on English. It’s also very busy as far as its interface which it’s super user friendly, I was going to give this 3/5 but after writing this out I think it mayb be a 2/5

Demon spire
I want know why to demon spire have time limit because I almost finish the boss of 1500 floor of mortal realm but time limit happen before I can finish the boss
Art style is different than the pictures
I wanted to like the game since the guys looked hot, but the art style killed it for me. I play at night, so it strains my eyes, and even during the day it’s too pale and my eyes once again have to work harder to focus.
One small issue
I know this is nitpicking but the top of the game is blocked by the camera on a 17e

Fun and engaging but crashes
This is a fun and engaging game. I agree with most people’s assessments on it. However the main problem is crashing constantly on iPhone 16 Pro Max with updated iOS. It is just crashing too often! Also the gatcha pay to win is too tempting, and there is too many events. Still if you’re not able to pay to play too much and it doesn’t crash on your system, then this game is pretty cool.

Decent game, declining service
In short: new servers are laggy and don’t have infrastructure to ensure events work properly. Seems like devs are getting as much $$ as they can before shifting to newer titles. If the devs aren’t willing to spend $$ on the game, it is hard to recommend others to spend their time/$$. Longer review: 4 new global servers released on 8/21/26. 8/22 is the first, weekly event featuring a ‘sect clash’ between multiple servers This event is a limited time, exciting, and competitive event with a 10 minute window. 10 minutes! If you are 60s late, you missed 10% of the event The server performance and lag was horrible for everyone. Commands would take 3-5s for a response and my screen would update every 1-3s. This is consistent event-wide, with many people commenting in the chat. This game is decent, but unfortunately this shows a decline in service for this game. Releasing new servers despite no infrastructure to ensure critical events can function properly. If you enjoy cultivation games and want a short-term game, try it. If you’re looking for a mid/long-term game or something to spend money on, look elsewhere. The company is clearly shifting resources to newer titles, this is a horrible sign for any future events in this server and newer servers
Server instability
My only issue with this game is that lately the servers have been extremely slow and unstable.
Extreme Pay 2 Win
So, besides the great art style and amazing storytelling, this game is meant for the huge whales. Like leviathans. Or the sky whales called Dapeng in this game (they are beyond massive) 🐋. The amount of money these ppl throw at this game is insane. So don’t expect to get anywhere fast, or even think of winning in PvP. The grind is long and slow at times if you haven’t spent any money. They finally added the ability to get backgrounds, but you must spend lots to get them. As far as combat, everyone is a circular profile pic with fancy effects. And that’s it. The cool looking gear is really just displayed on your profile when people look you up. I have enjoyed the story, but I recommend avoiding this game like the plague until the cost of everything comes down significantly.
This game crashes a lot
This game crashes so much. One day it crashed so badly that it messed up my phone and I had to do a system reset on it. I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Is there a patch or update you can do? I really like playing the game. But I’m too scared to keep it on my phone. I have deleted it until it’s safe to play.
Great but almost there
I played when is was kinda new ish and It’s a awesome game I personally really enjoy it, but I personally feel like we need better and more progressive possibilities, and more side quests to help if main quest is awaiting cuz this game takes a lot of time. Overall I do recommend it, but definitely recommend a bit more progression for the much higher stages. I feel like the lower stages arnt to bad rn. But f2p is quite good, you really don’t need to spend money, just understand game mechanics and that should help u along. Did I mention MORE SIDE QUESTS?!!!!😂
Be careful letting your kids play this.
Was a good game till they started pushing the devil on players. You have to comment devil stuff in chat to get 666 credits. Have to consume devil blood to rank up… this game is evil be careful playing. They are pushing their agenda to kids.
Logging in problems
The game in of itself is really good I enjoy playing this but as of recently I haven’t been able to log into the app it says “Unable to Connect to Server please check your network” but the thing is my network is fine there is no problem nor prior so I digress what the heck is going on man.
Uncaring Devs
The best part of this game is the people you play with. The story is unfinished, I suspect the Customer Service “agent” is an AI and players are punished for any mistakes the devs make. They don’t care whether you enjoy the game or not and any problems are your own to deal with. If you enjoy talking to people you may enjoy the time spent in the game but as the story abruptly stops and items are taken from you because of errors it gets harder to stay in.
Super fun but…
I got the game a few days ago and I’ve been having a blast, but my only major issue is the fact it crashes every few minutes. No matter what I’m doing, after like 5-10 minutes, the app will close and I’ll have to wait to connect to the server again. It’s really disappointing because I’ve been having such a good time with it aside from that. A little heavy on micro transactions but nothing you’re outright forced to buy to progress. I’ll keep playing, but I hope they’ll fix the issue.

This game is perfect and i love it so so much. HOWEVER. if you try to make a purchase, you have to make it through your apple account meaning you have to have money in your apple account of which i do not. I was hoping to have the system be something like “add a card to make in game purchases” so i can use my stupid visa giftcard, but i can’t because you can’t connect visa giftcard’s to your apple account because apple wants you to only use apple giftcards of which i do not have!!! please do so quickly if you decide to since there is a clothing set i really want that is going off sale in just a couple days!!!

Very P2W, lackluster gameplay
After playing the game for roughly two weeks, I came to the conclusion that I was wasting my time. The main issue isn't that there are benefits to paying money in the game, it's that the benefits are so disgustingly large that there's no point in even thinking about dueling a player who brought their wallet to the fight. If you weren't incentivized to interact with other players and could proceed with the game at your own pace, that would be fine. However, the way this game is set up, the top ranked players in any event will receive the greatest rewards and if you're free to play, there's basically no chance you'll come anywhere close to to the top. The people who get the best resources are the ones who need them least pretty much always. There are events like the otherworld invasion, where you invade other servers and fight other taoists and monsters for rewards to help with your cultivation. On the surface, this seems like a cool idea. In practice, the second you show yourself via killing a taoist, you're very likely going to be stomped into the ground by a p2w player who has 600 million more BR than you with no counterplay. Genuinely my first time playing a game that made me feel like a second class citizen lmfao. The gameplay itself is also pretty lacking imo. The most fun part is probably the duels with other taoists, but actual even fights are not very common. Story isn't very interesting either. My conclusion is: game isn't worth your time, don't bother.

I enjoy the art and the concept is well fleshed out. However, this game is extremely pay to win. If you do not wish to spend actual money and still play then you will always be behind and beaten by those who do.

Do the devs know math?
I have tried hard to play this trash game and I hit the same problems every time. Stability is terrible and crashes a lot. Solo story battles are horrendous in terms of balancing and pvp is ruled by whales. Your BR numbers means nothing and you will have to grind longer just to get through the story. The feeling I got from playing was that the devs are grade school dropouts because they can’t figure out basic math. Particularly lesser than and more than. If you’re looking for a cultivation game, this one is the absolute worst by far and you’re better off going to any other game. The five star reviews are bots fyi. Just avoid this trash at all costs.

This app keeps closing out in the middle of playing and while trying to load it. And miss the top part of the screen.
Server request malfunction
After this most recent server maintenance, I’ve been unable to access my player. It’s not deleted but for some reason the server options are blank. Showing only that the server is loading, it’s not showing after 5 minutes. I’ve been missing sect events because of it.
Good game until
I had a pretty good time playing this game, probably had 80+ hours on a mobile game is crazy. I ended up logging in and all my progress was gone, I tried using my Apple ID to log in but it was just erased no trace and I was in late game too which sucks
Better than the ads
It’s far more like an adventure visual novel with extensive RPG elements than the BitLife-like life sim advertised. Lots of pay options, but nothing that really impacted my single player experience too much to care about, at least, by Chapter 4. They could make do with a LOT less menus to sift through, though. It’s worse than Final Fantasy X in that way.
Surprisingly Good
Honestly, this game sat in my games folder completely untouched but then I started playing it and found it has story, complexity, and some unique mechanics. It definitely has a pay to win side if you want to battle others but other than that it doesn’t really affect anything other than leveling up faster.

Dead server pandemic
I’ve been playing for at least a year and a big problem is that the game is mostly p2w. Other than that there’s the long wait times on cultivation and time restrictions on almost everything. There are way too many dead servers and sects with accounts that people don’t even use anymore some consider yourself lucky if you’re in a fully active server. The game play is great but there aren’t a lot of weekly and normal events, if you’re new the abilities can be very confusing so it’d be good to choose your cultivation path carefully as you can only change at like voidbreak.

It deleted my account after I had been idle for a few days, I have to restart everything!!! I had been playing for a few months and was decently ranked in my server too! I am very disappointed
Pretty solid overall
I often have trouble staying engaged with games like this, but Overmortal tends to keep me quite occupied. The gameplay is a bit on the barebones side, but certainly not bad for an idle game. Constant events keep things interesting, though, you tend to need to spend money for those top rewards. Community is friendly, certainly when compared to the games I’ve played in the past. Being a mobile game, there are many micro-transactions - but I’ve never felt like my progress was actively being blocked by not spending money. You will, of course, never be at the top of the leaderboard without pouring a chunk of money in the game - however I’ve been able to stay pretty consistently near the top of my server without spending more than $1.00 CAD to squeeze out one final event reward.

The event preview page has been down for a week. Do you plan on fixing it? Or you just simply don’t care about your player base experience.
Turns into waiting game second day
This game is great and all.There’s a gigantic problem with the waiting in cultivation.See for example once you’re pretty much at virtuous at that point it is just is a waiting game. See this is a big problem with over mortal I’m not going to spend money 24/7 to get packs and bundles.I’m f2p and most of these problems are for the people who do not buy exclusive stuff in your game. There’s locked passes,Exclusive events you have to pay for ect.What I’m saying is that you should make It less grinding and make it more enjoyable for different f2p players. Take for example sect problems.I’m mostly almost at nascent soul and sadly I HAVE TO WAIT DAYS.See the problem with this is that the cultivation rank requirement is way to much with what you are giving to us. The cultivation pills cap at 20 once you use it all is barely anything.Also take the Respira cap make it 20 instead of 11-12 please.It’d make it a lot better experience for me And a lot of all the other players. What I’m trying to say is… It’s just to grinding.
