Waste of time
Game leans heavy into urging you to buy its premium currency , so you can’t even really have fun without paying. You can’t even earn the gems by watching ads, the game has a “glitch” where after you finish watching the ads you are unable to close the ads by tapping the x on the top left corner and therefore can’t claim the gems.
Simple and fun
It’s simple and fun and somewhat annoying (?), it’s actually really neat with the simple upgrades
Progression
It’s a pretty cool game good concept but the waves ramp up and then I’m at the point where I cannot get any progression and can’t even earn any coins because I die during the first wave.
About 15 mins worth of fun
It’s alright. It gets boring very quickly though and it’s very hard to level up or make any real progress unless you actually spend money.
Math addiction
I love the game and I’ve definitely found some interesting strategies but I’d like to request that all of the upgrades max out at a multiple of 10 cause there are quite a few that max out at 99 and it drives me insane. Btw on the day that I made this review I did purchase the gamepass that removed all the ads cause watching the ads was getting frustrating because they were glitched for some reason and I was watching them a lot for the bonuses. Basically when the ads were on the screen that was just a picture the countdown in the bottom left wouldn’t go down unless I left and then rejoined. I’m not saying that I lost a bunch of progress or something. It was just really annoying.
Absolutely unplayable
I’ve been trying to close an ad but there is no x icon to close it at all. I’ve tested this many times with the same result each time.

Issues with Gems & the Update
If you claim ad Gems then claim the floating gems at the same time, you loose both, and other times floating gems just wont give you gems at all. And these have been things for a while now and everytime I have had it happen I’ve wanted to write a complaint but I haven’t, its to the point where I started keeping track and before the update I had just broken 300 loss gems, I lost more than that because I didnt start keeping track till after a while of it happening, but yeah, thats really annoying. Also, I’ve paid for ads off, and not only does it work and you are allowed to get gems for free, theres no forced ads afterwards the ad gems are given to you for free like every ten minutes or so, and it’s been permanent, and I really like that! But, now to hear that there will be a cap on daily ad gems and its ONLY 60!? That’s ridiculous!! I think its like 10 minutes between each time ad gems pop up but im not sure so lets be generous and say it’s 15 minutes, that means that ad gems with the new buff of an additional gem per ad gem collection will be capped at two and a half hours of playtime, because max will be 60 gems, 6x10=60 so fifteen minutes between each collection and collection needing to happen 10 times to reach the cap that would be 150 minutes. I have my phone in my pocket like all the time running the game throughout my day as I do other things and as I said, I’ve paid for ads off, why would you punish people for wanting to play your game? I actually want to play less now because I’m less worried about coins than I am about the gems because I want good modules and relics!! But yeah if this stays like this I’m actually going to be playing the game way less because i’ll get my 60 for the day then just hop off! Is that what they want?? And I don’t understand the reasoning they gave for putting this cap in place being “because not everyone runs the game 24/7” or however it was phrased, What does that have to do with it? Its like other games, the more time you put into it, the more you’re going to get out of it, and I’m not saying it should be pay to win but the more time you put in the more you get out should definitely be that way for people who have put money into this game! And the fact they are adding more modules is a bit annoying but even more so because of this new gem cap because it’s just going to make getting the ones you want even harder and, oh great they are changing the combining stuff so some take less modules, what about the literal THOUSANDS of gems long time players such as myself have put into buying modules??! Its not like we’re being compensated for all of the gems we spent getting those now extra modules!! That’s so infuriating especially because if it was this way earlier I would be so much closer to ancestral Modules for the modules I actually want to be upgraded but no I’m just getting the shaft! Again, It shouldn’t be pay to win, and I never thought it was because it’s not like I was ever winning tons of tournaments and what not, but this is ridiculous especially for players who put money and lots of time into the game, it’s like they are being punished and actively discouraged to play now and I just don’t understand how this was seen as a good idea or again, how the idea of wanting the game to be more fair comes into play when really outside of tournaments you’re just trucking along doing your own thing! So dumb, I hope this cap gets removed, and it’d be nice to be reimbursed for all of the gems I lost in the glitch of the ad gems and the floating gems (I realize that its like just not going to happen asking to be reimbursed for all of the gems I spent on modules as frustrating as that may be but I realize that so I dont expect it for that but for a glitch that has been going on for a while and affected me multiple times? Yeah I expect it for that)

Game is decent, but the ads are cancer. Missions require you to watch ads. Free gems? More ads. You can spend more time with ads than playing the game. These are forced interaction ads too. Absurdly priced packs to top it off.

Newest update now limits the number of gems you can earn with ads per day. It used to be 5 every 10 minutes or so. Now it’s 6 capping at 60. I already bought the ad-free, now the rules are changed to “encourage” people to buy gems. If you are a new player, this will hinder your ability to progress

Super fun for a short while, then insane pay walls
It’s truly wild. The cost to upgrade my things a fraction of a percent is measured in billions, and I’ve never even had one billion. Almost negligible progress, and to actually see later content seems impossible without spending a fortune. Probably gonna quit soon. It’s just not fun.
Unnecessary changes
You guys made modules level tied to the slots but didn’t explain what that means at all. Now they don’t work. Can’t level them up or change them. Who asked for that and why?

Why can’t I see the smart missiles
I have the smart missiles unlocked but unfortunately I can’t see them being used in the game I can only hope that this is a bug or can be fixed in a future update please
Bug?
On an IOS device (iphone 12 i think) was enjoying the game semi occasionally for awhile but at some point now its just stalling out at 24% during the boot load (waiting for ATT apparently). Decent game but unless i can get help for my issue i have to let it go because its quite literally unplayable now.

The fact they change the ad gem to max out 60 claims is BS. They want you to spend money on there in game gems. Hey developer. Don’t you know that it hard out here no one want to spend money on your damn gems if we’re paying your game.

Go slow, wait forever
Game is painfully slow, even after buying the “No Ads” microtransaction because it’s not a horrible game but it is so agonizingly slow. Then they hit you with a game speed research that takes 4 ENTIRE DAYS TO GO FROM 3.5x TO 4x. The happy brain itch doesn’t exist in this game.

Gameplay is simple, great for killing time, but the Ads are terrible, sometimes you stare at a AD screen for FIVE WHOLE minutes and the X sometimes never shows up!! Fix your ads it’s making me not want to play - thanks!

Not the greatest ever, but been playing for a few days now and it’s a nice little progression, slow but I know that’s what I signed up for. I did the 9.99 to bypass ads because they are terrible and I felt like I would like this style of game loop, right now it’s cool but I am not sure how long I will stick with it

Just started, it’s a grinder. Good time waster.
No sound FX
Just annoying music. You can turn off the music, but then the rest of the game is totally silent. If they're going to do an old-school vector graphics look, it should have the accompanying 8-bit digital sound effects and music.

You are unable to close the ads after they are done so you have to close the entire app. If they fix this issue it might be a 5 star game
Really good game
Unlike most incremental tower defense games, this game you can actually play for over a year if you want to and the progression isn’t too slow and it isn’t too fast there’s nearly infinite possible ways for you to get stronger upgrade your towers and defeat the enemies and this game is really fun for long car ride rides.

I do have to admit it is a very decent game not the best game I’ve ever played, but not the worst by far. It is very fun. Very enjoyable. I see how you could get addicted to this. I find it very enjoyable because it reminds me of this one game I can’t remember it but the way that you played the game it reminds me of something, but I can’t remember the game but it’s such a good game. I enjoy a lot.

Maybe not my cup of tea, but you can’t watch ads or it gets stuck. And it’s a pain I can’t speed the game up past 1.5x. It still feels incredibly slow

I think you should make the special attacks more intense but not off the charts for example make the black hole a black sphere with a red aura and have the enemies spin around in a circle inside it
Originally a 3 star but money money money
$20 for a bonus of a wave I earned is wildly greedy along w the very slow progression past early game. Additionally now $40 for a bonus to progress unbelievable
Decent time waster
You’re not going to have a life changing experience playing this game and it can be pretty slow for a long time but it’s satisfying and there aren’t any forced ads. Of course that does come at the cost of much content being relatively impossible to unlock (without using paid resources/boosters), but I’ve never spent on this game and I still open it from time to time. Definitely give it a go.

The game itself isn’t bad but watching ads for gems is a waste of time. 90% of the time the ads won’t allow u to close out of them making u waste time actually watching them

This update is so peak. Finally having access to presets and not being forced to reset your workshop to try and optimize for farming or tournaments. Beautiful update
Soft locked
You effectively get soft locked out of the game if you don’t get certain RNG based upgrades. If you manage to get the RNG upgrade/weapon, you’re set, won’t have to worry about any coin problems. If you don’t get it though you will be grinding for literal months longer.

Looks simple but also entertaining. If you want to play something just to kill time then this is perfect for you. Also, remember or save your ID# and sync your account to an email. This is save your data/progress when changing phones. Happy Gaming!
