app is great!
app is great, always runs perfectly and has every feature that i need. i have some issues with the bank itself but the app is great.
Can’t even get in
Face ID won’t even load and when I try and use my passcode it says error I haven’t been able to log in since the app change
Many updates and some hiccups
I know updates are needed to add new features however it seems like it’s not test fully. The thump long in was temperamental and not the verify check for a mobile deposit just kicks the app out.

This app sucks
Constantly broken. Every time they update it I can’t log in. Do they even test this before rolling it out? Frustrating. It’s been two updates now, and faceID still doesn’t work.
Problem with card lock feature
I’ve been with first bank for well over 30 years and honestly, like with any bank it has its ups and downs, pros and cons. I’m ok with the app though I liked the mobile banking better years ago when you could find out your balance with a simple text. Other than that it’s ok but I’m having an issue with the card lock feature. Whenever I click to unlock my card it keeps kicking me off the app.
Terrible software
Most of the time the deposit checks doesn’t even work. When it does, and it’s finished, the DONE. Button doesn’t work and you have to close out of the application and sign back in. Very frustrating Update: still terrible! every time I try to deposit a check it completely drops out of the app to my home screen I’ve deleted it, reinstalled it, and same thing happens and happens. Software needs to be fixed.

Can’t login or set passcode
Just like others I can’t login or set passcode. Deleting and reinstalling app doesn’t help. We shouldn’t need to contact support. This is a widespread issue for months.
Bill Pay Dashboard
I love the app, easy to use most of the time. Be careful with the Bill Pay Dashboard (BPD). The one and only time I used BPD to make a mortgage payment, instead of an electronic payment being made the BPD mailed out a check. A month later the check had not been cashed. If I would have not caught the mishap, I would now be delinquent on the mortgage payment. I suggest verifying the payment method prior to BPD use.

I have lived in California for 6 years. This app has done everything I need. A few phone calls have quickly taken care of my questions. BEST BANK EVER!
Booo
Every update is stupid. The verification process is always changing which is good for protecting information but it’s truly a pain to log in. My family has not been able to access information for 3ish weeks because the new verification to get into the apps is not working at all.

I have been with First Bank for close to 4 years! I believe and because of the alertness to the agents behind the scenes in the Fraud Department I’m always able to start an Investigation right away if a transaction doesn’t look right to me and plus the agents their give me a heads up if I just made a transaction at such and such for this amount and if I say no they block my card right away till I call them?, if I say Yes then they say try back with the transaction in a couple minutes? So everything is great to me at First bank for me! thanks to the workers there.

So glitchy. Had to uninstall and reinstall the app because FaceID wouldn’t work, I had no option to use my username and password, and when I tried to use my pin, the app would say the function was not available
Not the best User Interface
No navigation to anything other than account statements and bill pay are usable. Clicking on Find Locations or any link under MANAGE redirects to a web browser-like page display and an Accept or Reject Cookies prompt that IS NOT CLICKABLE so you’re just stuck and can’t continue. No clickable Support or Help phone number. I don’t find the app useful for anything other than checking my balance. The cog wheel (known everywhere as a Settings icon) in the upper right corner has no settings function. Having worked for unicorn startups, I find the app a bit old fashioned in functionality. Thankfully the local branch is only one street over.
Much better than before
This app has improved tremendously since I first started using it!! It’s much more user friendly. I do wish there were more options for being able to pay off mortgage bills, etc on the app rather than having to go online. But overall I’m very happy with it!
App will not let me in
The app refuses to let me in. When I use my passcode, it tells me something went wrong. I've tried relogging in and that did not work either. It worked before but whatever update you did made it not functional. Please fix!
Needs Serious Work
Clicking on estatements brings up blank pages. No place to adjust automatic logout time, which used to be so short that I couldn’t scroll through transactions without being logged out before I could find what I was looking for.
Cannot login after updated
I cannot log back in after “forced” to update the app! I cannot access my account through this app ever since! Terrible update! Need to get it fix as soon as possible
Poor Update
With the new update I am unable to access my account. Even after verifying my password, and getting a phone call verification number it will not allow me to make a new passcode. There is no phone number to contact with problems either. I was using the fingerprint id, but when you select that option the app does nothing. Glad they updated the app when there was not a problem. Classic idiot tech bros.
