What people like
- The stories are really engaging
- Books don't just disappear from the app
- Characters have good depth and development
What they complain about
- You can't cancel your subscription easily
- Reading costs way too much money
- Support never actually helps you
Great books
Current book has been amazing so far
Cancellation issues
Won’t let me cancel , directions how to cancel won’t work and still charging me weekly
Definitely feels like a scam
You would think paying 35.98 dollars you would at least be able to read one full book…. Noooo I don’t recommend
Subscription Fees- Not Honest
I just signed up for a month in app which shows the charge as $29.99. However, I was actually charged $44.98. Dishonest within minutes of making an account… not a great start.
Great reads but don’t do it! Soo $$$ 300 later on one story-
This is literally the most expensive book I’ve read besides a college book. You get sucked in and forced to buy coins or vouchers to finish the story. I actually felt disappointed I even downloaded it because of how expensive the 1 story was.
His rush less redemption
Love this book.
Do not subscribe!!!!!!!!
There is no way to unsubscribe. There is no subscription in your Apple subscriptions to cancel either there or within the app. They will charge you!
One of the better reading apps
So far I am enjoying this app. Good selection of content, proper grammar and easy to work. My only complaint would be not enough ways to earn points and some short chapters are a little high in points. I will say though I have seen worse.
Wow sooo expensive
I’m giving this a 2 star rating due to how incredibly expensive it is to read the chapters.. if I were to actually pay to read the remainder of the story I’m currently reading..(which I really want to as it’s a pretty good story so far) it’s going to cost me WELL OVER $200. It’s ridiculous. I wish this was like other apps where you could get a subscription that allows you to read the whole story instead of paying for each chapter. Ugh I’m so sad I won’t be able to finish the story..
Good reads, but expensive.
The subsciptions and chapter unlocks are too expensive, but they have good stories.
Holy cow
Cost is way too high. I liked the book I’d started but the price is ridiculous. I can only read a couple of minutes and then it requires more money.
You can’t cancel
Do not ever subscribe. You can’t cancel and the app team will not help you
Honestly- I read several
I have used a few different apps. So far these on this are my favorites. I can’t put it down once I pick a book. I also like that while I’m reading it doesn’t disappear. Several other apps will delete or remove books from the app and I cant find or finish them. I have not had that problem with this app so far.
Price
The stories are good but cost insane amount of vouchers so you can’t read more than like 3 chapters a week. They start at 99 and keep going up. The free voucher options don’t give you enough to unlock most of the times. That’s why I’m giving it 2 stars.
Love the stories, cost to much though
The stories are great but I read a lot and fast so it cost way to much to complete a book. I spent over $100 and still didn’t have enough to complete the books. Glad I found other online stories like this that have a monthly subscription that allows you to read all books free
Mysterious Mate to the Lycan Prince
Interesting character development and plot twists that kept me spellbound and intrigued. Good read!
SCAM
Did the math on finishing a single book and it was $177. Said book requires over 17,500 coins to read completely, 500 coins cost 4.99, did the math and came up with the total costs just to be utterly disgusted. I’m perfectly willing to pay for a book, but almost $200 is no where close to a reasonable price. This app sucks and should consider restructuring their pricing I pay less for a year subscription on Galatea and they have way more book options and genre variety.
Review
The books are great but very expensive to get through a full book
Frustrated
This app has some kind of glitch. I keep having to delete and redownload it every time my story has an update just to get the new chapters.
Better than a lot of these Apps
Having the 10.00 a week option makes it more affordable if still expensive to read on here. My biggest gripe is that it has been weeks and weeks with no updates on 4 different stories I am reading and one of the books the broke down gave a slightly new name and suddenly the same content takes up 545 chapters instead of the 320 from the other version. Having so much uncompleted work in books that are really engaging if somewhat repetitive you can definitely see where the AI gets something stuck in its system it is repeated. Over all still better than some similar apps.
Has option to watch adds
Yay! I can read novels with an option to just run the adds. 20chapters free per book per day. Not bad… thank you! I also love the story options as they have more depth than other apps.
Rip off
Paid $50 and it wasnt even enough for the whole book
Good stories
The only thing that I don’t like is the fact that you can’t leave a comment on a book, especially when there’s errors or contradictions in the stories.
Double charges
I was double charged for the monthly subscription. I tried to connect with the support and my email bounced back since the official email doesn’t exist.
Chapters
Love the stories but I can no longer get the free ad chapters😭 but there is still the timer? I don’t know why it’s not working!!
Overcharged
I chose the CAD $6.99 option to top up only 500 coins and the actual charge to my card was $36.14. Extremely overcharged to still only receive the 500 coins. Please don’t waste your time or money. Expecting to pay 6.99 vs actually paying 36.14 is a massive difference that not everyone can afford to have.
Lying about purchase
States you can read a book if you buy a subscription. Then you can’t finish it and no way to cancel
good story
dont understand what everyones issue is as if theyve been scammed when it literally tells you in the subscription agreement (available before you purchase anything) that after subscribing, the coins and vouchers recieved each month are limited and that if you need more coins, to please make an additional recharge. its not a bad app and has not scammed anyone, it has it there clear as day. the only issue for me is how quick you obviously do run out as each chapter is 50 coins/vouchers but the story im reading is making me very invested so im not bothered x
It ok
But like all these apps the book prices are ridiculously high and I’m not willing to pay close to a hundred dollars just to read one book
Too expensive
I like the app, although it's annoying that I keep having to pay for a chapter. It'd be great if only the climax/important chapters needed vouchers or coins. It ruins the experience and makes me forget about the app since I can't keep reading. It's basically impossible to read more than one chapter a day, without paying actual money; since you only get to watch a few ads to gain some vouchers. I also wouldn't say it's very inclusive because the daily tasks are also suggesting you should spend money. An example of a daily task could be : 'purchase your first coin bundle' or 'sign in on ________(an app)' leaving me with only one task I could do for free with no issues. Overall, I think more people would injoy the app if the chapters were free.
Best update so far
Out of all the updates this ones my favourite, having more chapters to read, a great vaucher system, and good stories. Hands down the best.
Horrible Cancellation Process
Tried to cancel this thought the steps. Doesn’t allow. Not showing under my App Store. Reached out to the company many times. No response.
Good stories
Im bery much into reading beautiful novel but its quite pricey, make it more affordable would love to continue reading.
Great reads but the pricing is wild
The pricing for vouches to read a book is wild!!! There should be option to purchase the whole book for under $20. Don’t get sucked in and get a kindle if you want to save.
Good but TOO expensive
Good but TOO expensive
Why so expensive
Subscriptions don’t cover 1/4 of a book and books cost over Au$100.Disgusting
wtf
this is literally ridiculous. spending over $100 to read one book is crazy to me. the books are extremely long and have way too many chapters. there’s no reason an online book should ever have 100+ chapters whole time the chapters are barely 7 paragraphs long??? like get it together
My Billionaires Secret Baby
Love the stories on this app but way to expensive for working women to buy. 👎😢
Doesn’t let me cancel subscription
I’ve tried canceling and it doesn’t let me it tells me to go to my apple subscription and it doesn’t show up I’ve tried contacting them and it doesn’t work
Good and Bad
Most books seem to be written really well. Cost of books is extremely high, costing 40-60 so far for me to read a book. Would prefer if there was a monthly or weekly fee to read unlimited. Also if you are having issues with a book loading there is no where to send your concerns to. Have submitted feedback but don’t get a reply.
Absolute scam don’t download
5 stars so you can read this review Absolute scam I’ve paid more than $60 for 1/4 of the book how ridiculous this app is just after all your money it should be deleted by the AppStore as is shouldn’t be downloaded by anyone .
Paid and didn’t get my coins
Apparently it’s a known issue that if you pay for the coins that you don’t get them in a timely matter. My app doesn’t even show my purchase but my credit card does.
Expensive for what you get
Good stories but far too expensive for the tokens or if you use your money. They up the cost of chapters every time so that your money you spend for coins or vouchers really doesn’t go very far - maybe four chapters - unless you spend more. The chapters are also very, very short and do not make it feel like it was worth spending actual money on this app. Such a shame, was really hoping it would finally be a good one.
Loading error
I use this App by free watching Ad! Recently every time unlocked the free purchased to rad the book, it’s gone into loading! I have to keep deleting the App and reload everyday! Very annoying!!
Desires die hard
Exciting
Don’t waste your time
Paid the monthly subscription and couldn’t even read a whole book before I ran out only got to chapter 30 something. Complete scam
Some things need to be fixed !
I quite honestly think who ever owns this app is being extremely greedy. First of all I am subscribed to a few book apps and they have the highest monthly subscription I have seen so far. If that was the only issue it would be okay. For 20 pound a month it should be unlimited reading! This is ridiculous why am I having to pay extra on top of a monthly subscription? It’s extremely disappointing for such a high price , judging by the rest of these reviews they do not take any of them seriously and don’t seem to care about the unhappy customers. If this subscription meant unlimited reading I would keep paying, even 3 books unlimited a month would even be something they need to fix this asap !
Monthly payments
I have paid a monthly subscription and they make me pay for the new chapter of the book I taught is unlimited books once you pay the monthly fee! I don’t know what to do now!
