Shady Pricing Tactics
Was looking for something I could put in ingredients I have around the house. Rather then letting my try it out, it asked for all kinds of personal info. I didn’t care but then before I can even see what the app do it starts pushing memberships on me. Every time I said no it kept bringing up stupid roulette wheels bringing the price down further. In 5 seconds the price went from $80 a year or something to $20. I noped out of there. If something won’t stand by the value of their product, they’re probably gouging you knowing their product is garbage. Stay away everyone.
Très bonne application mais gros soucis pour la langue
Bonjour cette application est de qualité, mais il faudrait traduire les recettes et les plats dans la langue choisis. J’ai des recettes en turc/ Allemand etc dont je ne comprends pas un seul mot.
Too eager
I got to the plan selection page and quit. It asks generic questions and not questions that would tailor my meals to ME. I have medical issues that make planning my meals critical but it doesn’t take that into account. Any meal planning is worthless without that.

This App tried but…
This was great in theory but the app opened once for me. Only the first time.
discover
I love the idea of the app it is great but there is no area to add food I dislike, for example: I do not like coconut but it keeps suggesting recipes with it. Also the discover section is a brilliant idea but does not take my dietary restrictions into account, do not eat dairy but most of the recipes have cheese in the discover area. However, it is a really good idea but needs some improvements.

Download the app but it is in German. Can’t really use it unless I learn German.
There are better options
Not a bad app. Some improvements in the adding ingredients functionality would be great though. Now, they need to think about a free tier or longer trial period, especially with that yearly price point. Ideally a freemium approach. There are similar apps that are as food as this one and have freemium models. In fact I built a GPT wrapper myself that does the same. It is not a phone app though as I do enterprise software not apps. But people can vibecode something similar easily and offer it for 29.99 a year. Now I realize that is a European app. I never see one that knows how to monetize. High prices and few users. Volume and low price my friends. It is not even a new model. It is the only thing that works in an almost free world.
Decent but not worth paying for
It’s a decent app and an excellent idea for some last minute dinner. Really good for meal preparation. I only have one issue about is in dietary restrictions it doesn’t let you select shellfish which is a pretty common allergy that I have and half the recipes that were generated had shellfish as the main ingredient making it hard to work around just taking it out. Also it only lets you add a certain amount of pantry ingredients so I suggest doing the ones you know you want to cook with for sure. Those are really my only qualms with it.

Problems with the confirmation email
I can't use the app because it doesn't work with the confirmation email and I find it sad that you can't use it on the website but have to download an app but otherwise if you can log in, the app is definitely practical.
Disappointed
I am shocked to see an update was posted 3 weeks ago. I tried downloading 3 times, never even got to the main page. I asked the app to not track me, and I wonder if that’s what’s causing the issues, but that should be more upfront if the trade off to use the app is personal data.
Es ist ok
Manche Rezepte sind übertrieben, vor allem wen man Rezepte vorgeschlagen bekommen soll, mit den Sachen die man zuhause schon hat. Er hat mir Mexikanische Tortilla vorgeschlagen mit Rotwein, Kartoffel, Hoisin Sauce, Schokoladenstücke und Nudeln? Im end einfach alles reingemischt und kein gutes Rezept erstellt. Wenn man manche vorgeschlagenen Rezepte anschaut sind die okay, aber es ist noch lange nicht ausgereift. Schade!
Nothing works
Whenever I try to make a recipe using this app nothing works. I tried to use macro chef and it crashed when I clicked on it, it even did this whenever I tried to open anything else on the app please fix this.

Love the idea…
I love the idea but just downloaded it and it generated my first recipe and the title was nothing to the actual meal. Stuffed chicken breast with peanut butter rice… it was actually wrapping a dough lined with peanut butter around the chicken breast and baking it then serving it over cooked rice. Also the instructions didn’t provide measurements for the rice… it needs a lot of work. I don’t blame what the algorithm did with the ingredients as I chose those. I would’ve expected them to match the title. I was thinking maybe cook rice and make a creamy peanut butter sauce into the rice.

Haven’t been able to successfully generate a recipe yet. Just keep getting a “something went wrong” message.
Basic at best, not even close to worth paying for
TLDR; free version doesn't have enough to consider using, paid version doesn't offer enough value to be worth The only feature I thought was worth paying for was the meal planning option, used the 'lose weight' option and it was suggesting I eat around 700-800 calories a day (I need around 2,800 to maintain weight for context), I think I'd be dead before I hit my target weight, it needs more options to select to ensure you're getting enough cals to not pass out before dinner. Although considering it's asking me for my gender, height, weight and age I would have expected that to be calculated for me already, so doesn't really feel like it's using that info correctly And that's when it works, over 50% of the time I searched it would either error out or gives me something so basic I would never need instructions in the first place, despite me setting the cooking level to intermediate
Needs lots of work
Recipes take 10+ minutes to load. Pantry tracker has a horrible design. Only 5 recipes per month on the free version is awful. Does not have very many ingredients as well.
Way Too Hard to Add Pantry Items
UX to add items to pantry is wayy too complex. I have to scan every items barcode? barrier to entry too high, makes app not worth using
