About app
I like it
Connecting People
I thought the app was really cool in connecting people of the similar interests within the neighborhood. The people don’t response. You don’t find group/s who want to talk, connect or meet. It’s paid apps but I think it’s not worth it. That’s my feedback. Thanks
Hey u
ConnectPlayers has completely changed how I stay active! It is incredibly easy to find local players who match my exact skill level across so many different sports.
Good in Theory but….
It’s mostly men trying to message you and the weird thing is their greeting message is exactly the same “hi, how are you” typed the exact same - it feels like a bot is trying to talk to you. one other man just straight up asked to go running together as his first message. it’s really a weirdly disguised dating app and it sucks because as a girl, it makes you feel unsafe.
Problem to send message
I create a group and other than the admin no one else can’t send a message. So that makes difficult to coordinate with people in the group.
Love this app
Easy to use and found few friends and badminton partners
Paid Subscription
How do you expect to connect players if messaging itself is a premium feature?! You need to figure out other or better ways to increase revenue because this will stop growth as I can’t connect with players - the very core thing about this app.
Badminton group
Finally found the best group of like minded players in 2 years being in USA thank you connect players !!!
App is slow
App needs to be updated, overall very slow app
Good interface: will do great with a little more reach
I’ve met a few people on the app but I’m just waiting for it to get more popular so it’ll be easier to meet people.
App Review
I recently joined this app and love it! User friendly and highly recommended! This is the app that I was looking for!
Pay to message
Pay to message is wild
Great start; needs users and could use a rebrand
This app is well built for what it aims to do - help you find people near you for various types of IRL hangouts. I love the UI, the various features, and the fact that most of it is available for free. Unfortunately, even in the middle of a busy metropolis like Los Angeles, very few people are active or even registered on the app. The team behind ConnectPlayers needs to go all-out on advertisement and social media push, otherwise even the existing users like myself will eventually leave. In addition, I strongly suggest they change the name of the app as well - “Connect Players” sounds long, boring, and dated. I can easily tell my friends “I’m on Tinder!” or “I’m on TikTok!” or “I’m on Discord!” but I can’t say “I’m on Connect Players!” as it sounds awkward and embarrassing. I suggest the developers go with something short and fun like “PlayHub” or “PlayDate” instead.
Good in theory, bad in practice
Good idea, but the execution isn’t great. You have to pay to be able to message people which is my biggest issue with the app. I can’t have a conversation with someone unless one of us has the subscription basically. Not a lot of people using it, and I see a lot of men using it (predominantly men who are older than me as someone in my early twenties). A bit of a red flag when the people messaging me are men that are about a decade older than me. I stopped using it the same day I downloaded it.
Good initiative
I like the app. I haven't connected with anyone yet because I've been able to continue in the same environment, but I'm keeping this app for future use.
Good
If you are looking for a buddy to work out together, it’s good app to connect
Not Worth It Without Premium
The app is not useful unless you pay premium subscription. Basic features like messaging and creating club are locked behind paywalls , yet the free version still shows annoying Ads. It’s frustrating to see both ads and many restrictions at the same time. In my opinion, Facebook groups are much better options for finding local players.
Nowadays
Nowadays it’s so hard to find friends. As an immigrant in Canada, I can say that this app is very helpful! I recommend it to anyone who struggles to find friends with similar interests.
Really not bad
Few things need to be fix atleast giving first 5 messages free or Atleast 2 for connecting other players
Lots of potential but needs work still
The app has the potential to be great. Good idea but still needs some work. Biggest thing is all members should be able to able to chat in a group, not just admin. if not there’s no point of the groups feature. Hopefully this gets fixed soon!
Wonderful app
Thanks bro for this wonderful app
Fake profile
Fake profiles, they send similar messages to just want people to buy app. After buying even fake chats same message from everyone.
Fix notifications
Notifications don’t work even when turned on. Fix it!
Good connections
I am new to tennis and have been looking for partners to play. This app has made me lots of good connections in my local area.
Disgusting
Everyone on this site is looking to hook up, there is no sense of sports community, do not waste your time, I received 8 messages the first day asking for se*ual dates, all from foreigners. If I could rate this a negative star I would. Absolutely disgusting.
Great idea!!
Great app. Easy to set up.
Great App
It’s a really good app to connect people who play different sports.
Why I pay to chat?
Pay for chat with others? No way
Super duper
Good apps to find the good players to play the games
Great concept, poor execution
The app needs a lot of work in terms of UX/UI and it’s very slow. Most of the users are men. There should be a feature to rate/review profiles so that there’s something we can rely on for safety & trust.
Great app for sports lovers!
It’s like a social network built just for athletes and fans — easy to connect, share highlights, find local games, and chat with people who love the same sports. The interface is clean, and the community vibe makes it fun and motivating. Perfect for anyone who wants to stay active and social at the same time!
Toronto player
This app has the potential but it’s 95% guys. And as a girl, I get DMs meeting up for coffee like this isn’t a dating up. Members should be reviewed
Best app of all time
This is good to use if you’re into sports
Paid and paid
Garbage app advertising itself as free
