Bad first experience with host at Volleydome Calgary 7-9pm Saturday
Submitted a report/ feedback using my account. Depending on the subsequent experience and promptness of the support team’s response I will edit this review.
Good app for finding vball pick up
Sometimes a little buggy but overall good app
App is slow and doesn’t load
Good when it works but most of the time I can’t even load into it. Also been experiencing crashes
Hi, still white screen
Thanks
Great app and development team
Thank you to this app, I was able to find pick up volleyball games with some great people and good atmosphere. Recommended to 3 friends already and they love it too.
App doesnt load white screen
App just doesn’t load, stuck on white screen
Great idea
This is a great app to use to connect with people who like to play drop in sports. I wish I could automatically add the games/events to my calendar. And the notifications don’t work for me, I have to go to the app each time to see the messages, or any updates. I wish there were more locations north of Toronto.
App won’t open bug??
App is good for quick signup and instant messaging about court details but only when the app is working properly…. I got the app a few weeks ago and everything was working fine. This week I’ve been getting notifications from the app but when I click on the msgs, the app freezes on the loading screen… I tried closing and restarting the app, restarting my phone and tried deleting the app to reinstall. It worked after reinstalling and I managed to signup for another drop in. But, I’m now locked out again..
Unreliability
App doesn’t load reliably. Will cycle stating that the app is up to date but won’t fully load until phone has been restarted multiple times. Makes it very difficult to register and cancel spots.
Great Volleyball App
The app makes finding and booking drop-in games super easy. Takes the hassle out of organizing games as everything is set-up in the app, you just show up and play. Very convenient app and a great way to play more volleyball.

Slow App
Amazing what the app does in regards to gathering games around the city. But this app is very slow to load and post. That definitely needs alot of work.
Getting back to volleyball!
I randomly found this app while looking for community drop in volleyball. I was curious to see what it entails so it downloaded it and over a year later I am so glad that I did. It helped me connect with so many different. Volleyball runs and I met so many great new people in my community. I highly recommend this app to anybody that I know that plays volleyball. I hope that it expands into different areas and hopefully different sports as well!
app doesn’t load
iOS 26.1 / iPhone 15 - has been happening consistently through resets
App
It’s a useful app but a few things I would like to see is when it is updated and you get the notification of that it would be nice if it took you to what had been changed otherwise wiki could be looking through days of schedules just to see if you can pick up what was amended so that is very annoying. Also when you are clicking into lets say a game 2 weeks from now for the roster or whatever when you are done the app takes you right back to the closest item date wise which is annoying if you are trying to get future schedules a while out that you have to keep clicking and scrolling back and forth. It would be great to utilize the calendar on the top so that if you clicked a date on it then it would take you to whatever is scheduled for that date otherwise having the calendar there is almost useless. Thanks
Easy to engage in volleyball games
I didn’t have much interest in volleyball first by the app made it easier for me to find games nearby my home and join them easily
Bad app
The organizers have no idea what they’re doing and they have too many people per games plus people only play with their friends and don’t play with the other others that come out
Amazing app
Have had at least 30 sessions with Javelin during this summer, playing/learning and making friends of this scale were not possible without this app.
Never loads
This app almost never loads. Stays on a white screen.
Volleyball
Check out these guys for the best Volleyball games in town
Not loading
Signed up for a game that got cancelled, unable to open the app
Easy to find pickup vball
Great app to find great pick up vball games and fun people.
White screen
App doesn’t load. It’s just a white screen. Tried reinstalling, phone restarts.. Tried on another iPhone, same thing happened

. Love this app.
Very glitchy app and arbitrary rules
The app is very bad and not user friendly. Glitches a lot. Game hosts are fine, but will get banned in the app for no reason and the creators refuse to provide reasoning or more context
Thanks for amazing opportunity
I use the app since February 2023 and I love it. Playing 3-4 times a week now.
Horrible People, Awful Games
The games are for mostly MALE, STRONG VB players w ego issues who want to be BIG FISH IN SMALL POND. 1. The games are organized by people who want to play FREE games. They have no organizational skills and are mostly kids who have no business organizing a game for 21 people. Unorganized, inefficient and chaotic. 2. The recreational games have groups of friends who join, play on a team and only pass to each other, set for each other and play other people’s balls. Even though others pay the same amount, spend time and energy to be there for a game. 3. High rec or intermediate players join and play Recreational games and then are annoyed or impatient with people who are ACTUALLY at recreational level. Javelin does NOTHING to correct this. If anything these high rec players change the level of the games to only allow stronger players. In conclusion: this app is not for those who want to play a friendly game to get some exercise and have some social fun. It’s for mostly MALE groups of strong players who are not willing to play higher level games and ruin rec level games for others.
