I bought the 2.99 NO ADs and it charged my bank and I still have ADs. It’s been a few days and still getting ADs. It also has a button for me to buy it again. SMH. Horrible Game.
Pretty Good Game!
I really enjoy this game! I like the challenge it gives you. It is relaxing, fun, and makes you think (so you're getting that necessary brain workout)! There are not too many ads, and I really like the daily challenges. However, ever since the most recent update in 09/2025, for some reason I am not able to access/play the daily challenges! I hope the app creators see this and are able to address soon, so I can return to enjoying my daily challenges again.
Too easy
After you beat the first level, they start giving you predetermined guesses that are within as little as one point away from the word. Very easy and therefore much less fun than it should be. Would not recommend.
Freezes and ruins the round
The banner ad at the bottom of the screen causes the page to freeze in the middle of a round and they only way to fix it is to force close the app. I assume it’s the AD because that’s the only item that responds to input (if I tap it the App Store opens) when nothing else is responding. I wanted to send this as a message to the developers but I couldn’t find that option.

The ads are so distracting, and I'm not paying $2+ per month to play a phone game. I'm not opposed to supporting them, but the monthly subscription model for EVERYTHING is out of control. Fun game but the app is an actual nightmare. On top of that, it seems to have forgotten a LOT of words that people use every day (not "the" and "and" but words that were recognized before). Absolute trash of an app.
Lost all my progress
I downloaded this game back in 2023 and after I got stuck on a level I deleted it, I just remembered it but once I redownloaded the game it made me start from the beginning again
Broken
Haven’t played this is quite some time but never deleted it. Gave it a go and on level 101. I’ve guess over 200 words and have the top four answers. I’ve used AI to help but it agrees that this game or level is bugged. Sad part is that there’s no way to skip! I’ll have to delete the game because I’m literally stuck!!
ok… but the ADS—there are SO many. i do not recommend.
i don’t recommend this game to anyone who is unable to put up with lots of advertisements. i gave it three stars because i like the concept of this game in general. i love “smart people games” like like wordle and similar but even though this game seems ok at first, as you play you realize it kinda stinks. And that’s not because of the content (concept is good)— nope, just like 90% of smart phone games it has about twenty million ads per second (ok… maybe that’s an exaggeration. but it’s a LOT). games like this should NOT have this many ads. it’s so annoying because i do a puzzle, then have to watch ads. exit the game— yup, more ads. it’s ridiculous— it’s like an ad every minute or two, depending on puzzle difficulty. i guess if you can put up with ads the game is ok in general. but overall, WAY to many ads. i would not recommend.

Game sucks
After each level, it says i got in 121 guesses even though there are already a few guesses on the screen on level start and i guessed correctly on the first try. Definitely did not guess 121 times each level
Obsessed - would give 5 stars for better colour contrast
This game rocks and it is a good way to help me wind down fall asleep. Since I use dark mode, the colour contrast between the word text colour (white) and the background (yellow, turquoise etc) - it’s really hard to read. Pls refer to WCAG 2.0 colour contrast guidelines. It would be a huge improvement 🩷
Lots of bugs and glitches
Great game but there's a lot of bugs and glitches. One issue is that the keyboard pops up and covers the screen and words so I have no idea what the words are. I have to close the app multiple times to get it to work again. The other issue is the button to watch ads to get hints does not work so I can't earn hints.

Took my $ and didn't respond to ticket avoid buying from them
I bought the starter pack, didn't get it. Repeatedly attempted to restore purchase. It says "nothing to restore" so I submitted a ticket with screenshot including receipt number. Still haven't heard back or gotten my purchase/had ads removed. Don't buy it. They'll just steal your money.
Why in the world did you set the ad free like it is?
When I saw just a couple of dollars for a one time buy-in to remove ads, that was a no brainer. The way the game functions afterwards though needs to be reworked and updated. Not only does the game give you a level finished reward (say 100 credits) but it will pop up the option every time to watch an ad for double the credits. HOWEVER!!! If you paid to have mandatory ads removed, the game is rended incapable of loading ANY ads (requested or not) and thus makes it so that you cannot get that double the credit option whatsoever. It also affects the capability to check off any square of the free daily items. Something needs to be done to address this.

Ads are overwhelming
I LOVE this game and the app, but the presence of ads makes it nearly impossible to use. Even closing the app to check a text and coming back forces you to sit through another long ad (that you’ve already seen a hundred times). Even after paying for the full version, every time I exit out and re-enter the app I still get a pop-up offering to get rid of ads if I pay. I just wanna play the game

It’s extremely annoying how many ads you have to see in order to play. It’s not worth it.
Was working ok
Started playing and loved it. Purchased the no ads option. I’m now on level 14 with no word to begin a level. I have to enter a random word to see how far off I am of the word that is supposed to be there as a starting point
NONSENSE
I love this game, I play it everyday actually but… the AI tends to give very low scores for MY answers that are significantly close my answers. PLEASE FIX IT. Don’t make me come back here !!!!!!!
Ads have made it unusable.
Open app: advertisement. App offers you a daily gift. It plays an ad when you click on it. Once you’ve watched the ad and accepted the gift, it offers to double the gift if you watch another ad. It plays another ad regardless of which option you choose.

It's a great game in great concept, but I feel legitimately taken advantage of by paying for the full version (which calls itself ad-free) only to still be shown ads during use. There are an outrageous number of ads that make it excrutiating to play, even on the so-called "ad-free" version. Save your money.

Whenever I guess a word spelled with an ‘o’ it changes to an ‘I’ when I enter it

Fun game but weird permissions
The game itself was fun, but it was asking for permissions to search for other devices on my network. Also, while I was playing, the game was using a lot of battery and really heating up my phone. A little sketchy

This game is good. I like it if I need something to do in a line or if I am waiting for something. But it WAY too hard. I have to use like a billion hints in every level. Please make it easier. I will not play unless you make some major updates
Advert Overload
A good game and a novel concept for sure. I play it every day and I like the idea of it, but the developer has gone way overboard with adverts to push people to pay for no ads. I won’t pay for no ads, most likely I’ll uninstall it instead. A real shame because the ridiculous amount of ads, the annoying types of ads and the amount of times I have to click ‘Done’ on the same ad…. It’s far too off putting and an awful customer experience.

Great idea, aggravating execution
Love the game but the UI constantly asking you about different upgrades and showing an ad every time you open the app is annoying enough to where I’ll go back to playing the browser version.

Why after I spend $3 + tax do I then receive a pop up that says “watch an ad for this” and then not let me close the pop up for 3 seconds. I didn’t think a game could get more greedy! Honestly how dumb are you developers?!?! The game itself is cool but not worth the time or trouble from swapping levels.
