Bug
Since last month there’s a problem with the app, it didn’t let me start my session then I had to reinstall it and suddenly all my sessions were gone! Although it was connected to my email and my profile and even my devise number!!! So I had to start again😑 and today during the session pops up a message “there’s a problem” and suddenly my session was completed. This is super annoying, the app should be helpful not like this
Wish I could redo a session
Sometimes I accidentally hit done for a session when I haven’t actually done it. The only way I’ve found to fix is to completely delete the body part and add back but then my session counts are wrong :(

Bien mais ça m’a supprimé les séances
J’ai changé de téléphone et ça m’a tout supprimé sur les séances déjà faite…. Le nombre de flashs ne se met plus à jour non plus…. Petit inconvénient aussi sur l’application qui serait bien de modifier, quand une séance est prévu à une date mais qu’on aimerais la faire avant on ne peut pas modifier pour le mettre a « aujourd’hui » c’est dommage . Ou alors je ne sais pas comment on fait mais j’ai tout essayé . L’application est sinon très bien mais des petits problèmes seraient à corriger :)

Bonne appli jusqu’à changement de téléphone
L’application fonctionnait parfaitement avec mon ancien téléphone. Je suis passée a l’i phone 17 pro mon appareil est reconnu par le Bluetooth mais impossible d’effectuer le couplage … j’espère qu’une MAJ sera faite pour résoudre le problème.
Calendar Not Working – App Unusable
I’m having a very frustrating issue with the app. The calendar is not working properly at all. It only shows previous days, while “today” and future dates are completely empty. Because of this, I can’t see my scheduled sessions or plan upcoming sessions. Even worse, the reschedule feature is broken ,the calendar appears blank and doesn’t allow me to select any date, so the button stays disabled. I tried everything: logging out and back in, deleting and reinstalling the app multiple times, and checking my internet connection. Nothing fixed the problem. This makes the app almost unusable since I can’t follow my program or track my sessions properly. Please fix this bug as soon as possible.
Not the best App
I’m a little frustrated using this app- it doesn’t always pair the device first try and it’s not the most straightforward process. I also dislike that it will conclude a session for me if I’m taking longer than it anticipated it would take me. Why is there a time limit for how slow I use the device on an area? Just confused behind some of the thought process with the construction of this app. Seems very basic for a skin expert IPL app.

At first the app said it wasn’t available in my country, now when I’m trying to connect to my IPL it says “Oops, that didn’t work”
Review from an international user
Great device, but the app has a major issue at startup for international users! The device itself is fantastic and I love the design and the heads, but I had a very frustrating problem trying to download and register on the app. First, I had to **change my App Store country to find the app**, and then I kept getting an "Unknown Error" when trying to create an account. The account I created on the website wouldn't work on the app either. After many attempts, I found out that the solution was to **change the app's language to English** before registering. Once I registered in English, I was able to switch the language back to Spanish and the app works perfectly. I hope this solution helps other people who encounter the same error. Braun, please fix this issue for international users so they don't have to go through this frustrating process.
Inconvenient
(Re)scheduling is just terribly inconvenient. Since it’s really the only function you expect from this app - scheduling the sessions appropriately - I find it to be a total failure. „Completing“ the sessions is also unnecessarily inconvenient, like you have to press 3 times each time just to mark it done. Waste of time. My device is IPL 5 Pro, maybe with others it offers other features, I wouldn’t know. Please work on your app; this is just unacceptable regarding the price of the device itself.
Frustrating app
The app was good for introducing the app and first time use, but is frustrating after. Missing a scheduled IPL session and wanting to do it just a day or two late is very confusing to reschedule. I try every time but am generally using my IPL without the app now. Why not make it easier to just use based on body area and not first and foremost the schedule? Thanks.
App stürzt ab
App stürzt ab sobald ich das Gerät mit meinem IPhone 26.1 verbinden will. Nicht mehr mit ab benutzbar und gerade wegen der App wurde das Gerät gekauft. Total ärgerlich! Auch Updates lassen sich nicht mehr machen!

L’appli est très simple et intuitive par contre si on change de téléphone (iPhone 14 au 16pro) entre deux, impossible de refaire le couplage… Comment peut-on faire ? J’ai tout essayé, désinstaller et reinstaller l’app et rien ne fait.
Cannot adjust start date
This app opens to a calendar that pull up past dates… yet when trying to create a plan, it only allows you to start on that day’s date. You cannot adjust start date or number of sessions. I become aware of/ downloaded this app after having already started using weekly - I am sure I would not be the only person to do so. Disappointing.
Date issues…
There is a date issue with the app. When scheduling sessions the date resets around 6pm my local time to the next day and appears to cause problems when trying to perform a session. Since the date don’t match with the scheduled date (since the app is under the impression it’s the next date). It’s been a real problem since I tend to have my sessions late at night.
Doesn’t Pair!!
Doesn’t Pair! 4th session and all of a sudden I get the opps device can’t pair message. Customer service’s only suggestion is to delete and download which apparently didn't work. Very disappointing!

It worked until i entered my height and weight. Then it crashed, and now crashes every time I open it

Après avoir changer de téléphone, plus possible d’associer l’épilateur. Il marchait parfaitement avec mon ancien téléphone (un 13 pro) mais sur mon iPhone 16 Pro Max bien qu’il soit reconnu par le Bluetooth l’association dans l’application plante systématiquement… et oui, n’est pas Apple qui veut. Avec Braun rien de simple… Suite au premier avis. Après avoir eu le service client par téléphone, j’ai eu un interlocuteur qui m’a spécifié que les derniers idevices n’étaient pas encore pris en charge… suite à la récente mise à jour tout est rentré dans l’ordre. Heureusement ! Vu le prix du matériel.
Meh, kinda broken
The product that this pairs with works pretty well, but as is usual with app connected devices the app is clunky and basically useless. It basically just switches it between presets and logs your progress, which is somewhat useful but overall kinda meh. It scares me to think what will happen when this app stops getting updated, and it is already broken on my phone (iPhone 16e) the progress screen doesn’t scroll and i cant edit my zone profiles when im not scanning.

The app is fine, I guess except I cannot scroll vertically in the progress tab. That seems like a bad decision. It also doesn’t seem to record the energy setting in the progress either.

Ich habe dieses Produkt zum Test erhalten, ich mache es einmal pro Woche. Die Haare wachsen noch, ich weiß nicht, wie lange es dauern wird, aber wir werden sehen. Die App ist gut, Sie können sie zuerst verwenden, aber ich denke, Sie können ohne die App benutzen. Danke ❣️

I downloaded the app using a QR code, and it says “App is not available in the region that you are currently located in.” I’m in the US, and my iPhone region is the US. I think it should work. Any advice here?

Mixed Reviews, great on legs and arms but struggling with public area, doesn’t remove all hair, it remains prickly constantly and spotty, this area was my main reason for purchase to be holiday ready, I’ve been using for a few months now on repeated sessions, hopefully will improve

App continually shuts down renders expensive product totally unusable
I was very excited to use this product, but I cannot even get past the start up and test. I’ve tried the app on my iPhone and iPad with the same results. I’m never able to get past the screen where you select your test area before the app shuts down I have uninstalled and reinstalled on both devices with no success. The app blinks off sometimes after a millisecond sometimes I can get through a couple screens but for as expensive as this product is, it’s really frustrating that it’s completely unusable because of this app glitch (from what I read online it seems I’m not alone). I’m equally frustrated by customer support. Online chat is not available and the chat bot directs me to call customer support between specific hours and when I call during those hours, I’m advised by a recorded message to call back after 3 PM which honestly makes no sense. I’m extremely frustrated.

Witam, prawie wszystko ok problem jest z połączeniem urządzenia z siecią WiFi. Aplikacja znajduje sieci, ale ja chce skorzystać z opcji „inna sieć” i ta opcja jest nieklikalna mimo że jest dostępna powinno pojawić się dodatkowe okno gdzie można wpisać SSID i hasło, ale się nie pojawia. Prośba o naprawienie błędu.
App & IPL mit vielen Mankos
Nach Update 2.0.1: keinerlei merkliche Verbesserungen, stattdessen logische Fehler, die die Anwendung massiv verschlechtern. App berücksichtigt die Zufriedenheit mit der Haarentfernerung gar nicht, es wird einfach von wöchentlich auf monatlich, dann gar nichts mehr umgestellt. Dadurch sind jetzt manche Körperstellen gar nicht mehr geplant (auch nicht in ‚Fortschritt’ angezeigt), aber auch eine erneute Auswahl wird unterbunden (Körperbereich grau/nicht wählbar)! Haarfrei ist da aber nichts. Jede Sitzung ist ärgerlich, weil immer etwas fehlerhaft läuft und nicht wählbar ist! Keine adäquate Lösung durch Braun. In ‚Fortschritt‘ sind grundsätzlich fehlerhafte Daten abgespeichert, die die Nutzerin NICHT korrigieren kann. Eine Grundfunktion der App ist aber den Überblick zur gesamten Haarentfernung zu behalten – ergo nutzlos. Angeblich eines der besten Geräte auf dem Markt, 500 € für ein endliches IPL-Gerät. Gutes deutsches Gerät – dachte ich. Die App zeigt schnell ihre vielseitigen Mankos: 1. man ist nicht immer auf dem richtigen Screen bei gestarteten Sitzungen (hier fehlt die schlüssige Logik), selbst der folgende Einsatz vom Gerät führt nicht dazu, dass es die Lichtblitze registriert. 2. Wenn man aus Versehen zu weit in der Sitzung geklickt hat, gibt es keine Möglichkeit zum Blitz-Screen zurück zu kommen! Also wird die Sitzung nicht registriert. 3. Die Stärke der Lichtblitze ist vielleicht abhängig von der eingestellten Haarfarbe?? Wenn man aber nicht innerhalb der Sitzung auf dem richtigen Screen ist, weiß man nicht was das Gerät genau abgibt. 4. Für Körperzonen die schon mal eingegeben wurden lässt sich KEIN weiterer Sitzungsplan erstellen, was ein Unsinn! Vielleicht hat man früher eine bestimmte Stelle im Gesicht im Fokus gehabt und möchte anschließend eine weitere Stelle einplanen. 5. Ein monatlicher Plan lässt sich nicht früher wieder anwenden wenn der Haarwuchs doch wieder stark ist. Also muss man anwenden, ohne dass die App es registriert. Völlig unfunktional! Diese Probleme werden jedes Mal und sehr schnell offensichtlich. Mit Sicherheit gab es Test-Nutzerinnen einer Focus-Group, denen das hat auffallen müssen! Dass das nicht behoben ist, zeigt die völlig unzureichende „Weiterentwicklung“ der App. Warum stellt Viktoria Swarovski ihren Ruf dafür zur Verfügung? So lässt sich das IPL-Gerät nicht vollumfänglich nutzen. Außerdem ist es unverschämt, bei offensichtlich bei vielen Kunden auftretenden Problemen - statt dieses zu beheben - immer darauf hinzuweisen man ‚könne sich individuell an den Kundenservice wenden’. Als wäre das eine Frage von Anwenderfehler. Die App ist fehlerbehaftet, macht endlich mal was dagegen! Hier bekommt Braun ein umfängliches Feedback ohne Gegenleistung. Nutzer*innen erwarten diese dringendst notwendige Verbesserung – sagen wir innerhalb von zwei Monaten. Feedback zu Rezension auf Spanisch erhalten… meine Güte, was stimmt bei euch nicht. Ich erwarte eine inhaltliche Auseinandersetzung mit der Kritik und VERBESSERUNG!
Device is great but app is not reliable
I like the feature to schedule weekly sessions but can’t depend upon the app working to adhere to the schedules. There is nothing wrong with my internet yet the app does not reliably connect with my WiFi. I’ve deleted and reset my login and plans multiple times. A bit frustrating as I liked getting the feedback on the usage (number of flashes) as well.
Tolle App zu dem Haarentfernungsgerät
Ich finde die App sehr nützlich und praktisch. Sie lässt sich schnell und einfach mit dem Gerät durch Bluetooth und Wlan verbinden. Mit der App kann man Behandlungspläne erstellen, kann man Erinnerungen einstellen, damit die nächste Behandlung nicht vergisst wird, bzw. regelmäßig mit genauen Abständen gemacht wird. Die App erfasst die für die bestimmte Körperteile gebrauchten Lichtblitze und verfolgt die bereits behandelten Hautteilen, somit blitzt nicht zweimal an der gleichen Hautfeldern. Die App ist meiner Meinung nach sehr einfach zu bedienen.

Why i can't log in to the app ?
Great concept, Bad UX
Wanted to use this app to keep track of my sessions with my IPL. Concept is great, execution is poor. I started a session a couple of days ago, but the app doesn’t let me start sessions any earlier than the current day, so now I can’t keep track of this session correctly unless I essentially say the start day was a week after when I started it. Also I find it difficult to delete a plan once one is setup as I can do this on the ‘plan’ screen. However, I do really like the little design touches like the diagram to select what area of your body you are creating a session for.
Непродуманный и неудобный девайс, ну и пока что малоэффективный
Эпилятор постоянно теряет пару с айфоном, каждый раз приходится возобновлять поиск, удалять старую пару и возобновлять. Невозможно пользоваться на несколько человек в семье, жутко неудобно. Не понимаю почему нельзя использовать большую насадку в зоне бикини через приложение (оно не советует и постоянно требует поменять на самую маленькую), плюсом жутко неудобно пользоваться маленькой насадкой в зоне бикини, там и так не всегда подлезешь, а узкой тем более. Я стройная, у меня худые ноги и насадка средних размеров, которую советует приложение так же неудобна для ног, датчики не улавливают на изгибах костей так сказать, спереди, приходится ухищряться, а это такой ещё квест я вам скажу… Эффект пока заметен отчетливо только на ногах, но там у меня и так волос почти никогда и не было.
Apparently it does work in my region (UK)
I’ve just bought the product after a lot of research primarily because I liked the sound of the app. Sadly the app says it’s not available in my region. I’m regretting my purchase already and it hasn’t even arrived yet! Update: my region was incorrectly set in settings. Once changed the app now works.
Missing a session makes the app useless
If you miss a session and try to pick it up the next day, the app struggles. Hard to figure out how to log what you did. Ended up not using the app to complete the sessions.
Sehr praktisch
Habe die App nicht von Anfang an benutzt zu Beginn der Behandlung erschien mir das als zu kompliziert und aufwändig. Aber nachdem ich mir das Gerät (Braun Skin-i-expert)mit einer Tochter teile hat die mich darauf aufmerksam gemacht. Insgesamt bin ich zufrieden damit. Was praktisch ist aus unserer Sicht ist das das Gerät jeden Schritt vorgibt und sich das Gerät an den jeweiligen Hauttyp anpasst.
Needs improvement
1) You can’t reach out to support, “send ticket” closes the app so I’m having to write on here. 2) weekly sessions worked well but if you miss your day, it’ll jump to the next session and you can’t go back to the missed one. 3) once you have gone through all the weekly sessions, it’ll then tell you “date the start up phase WE will switch you to monthly sessions” however that hasn’t happened and my monthly sessions now show “you don’t have any monthly sessions planned”, you can’t create your own anywhere and when you go back to the areas you wish to have sessions with they are greyed out preventing you from creating any new sessions. I have to delete my account in order to restart weekly sessions? Get the app sorted, it’s too buggy to work with!!
Device allows to log in, but doesn’t pair
Hi guys, leaving feedback and reporting problem here as support is never answering on the line provided. Still Iphone 14 promax (ipl skin i-expert device), now after your updated version, it log ins, but it is stuck at pairing device. When you click Pair it says Oops your device had trouble pairing and suggests to go through the whole cycle again, which I tried several times (switching off and on both devices etc), but no success.
