Super convenient and okay prices. Had a bit of a problem and customer service -Marya and others- was great to help me resolve it. Turns out it was my mistake. Would recommend 100%
USA eSIM doesn’t work in Alaska
Bought the eSIM and later found out it doesn’t work in Alaska. Was not obvious while purchasing.
Works good but the app needs improvement
I installed and got an eSIM from this company for my trip to Sweden and the instal and service works perfectly fine, however, the app needs a serious makeover, I think it’s way over the top of being “cool” in lack of better words? It’s it’s difficult to navigate and it just looks horrible, a simpler and cleaner interface and it would get 5 stars from me.
Good until you have problems, awful customer support
I’ve used this many times, good prices, sometimes you’re forced to used a specific carrier which is not the most reliable, but works. When you get an e-sim during the check out process you’re asked if you’d like calls for $2.99 DON’T DO IT. It doesn’t work at all. And hopefully you won’t need to contact their customer support, which is completely useless.
Great but
The eSIM app great easy to install. It’s very weak on poor areas and it doesn’t work at all. It’s the Internet is barely work if you want to use it. Providers better than this company.
Great customer service
Customer service is really great. I bought e sim but due to some reason it was not working. But the support did everything and even gave me new e sim . And now everything working amazing.
A scam
I bought a plan for May and my data wasn’t working. I had to restart my phone every time I wanted to have access. Not only that, they signed me up for a monthly subscription that I never agreed to!! Also very difficult to contact support. Use any other app but this one.
New UI terrible and did not finish my data
Since updating, I’ve lost the ability to check the status of my eSIM, there is simply no section for it, also my data ended earlier than expected. Safe to saw I’ll be switching and recommending others not to use
Problems with App
Firstly the ESIM service is fine, no problem. However, not so much with the app. OK for a short while but then all the mini button become inactive, which involves reinstalling the app. Please make the app more stable.
Great and not so great
Have been using them for a while and when it runs smoothly it’s one of the best esim providers. However unfortunately if something doesn’t run smooth you end up in endless adjustments and multi day conversations trying to find wifi to activate the esim without it working at the end. Very frustrating…

Scam
I purchased an esim for a trip in may and since the month of June my friend and I have been charged 2 times by this company (June and July); it seems to be a subscription that we did not agree to!!! The app is not user friendly and can’t seem to find my card info to erase it. Do not trust!!!
Don’t delete your eSIM if it’s not working but luckily mine was restored once I contacted support
A few hours ago I crossed border from Toronto to New York State and for a while my new USA eSIM is not working. I deleted my eSIM to try reinstalling again and realized it’s no longer available. I contacted tech support and luckily Ninjia Ari was able to give me a new eSIM QR code after confirming my order number and this time it worked and I was able to use eSIM inside USA . Thanks ninja Ari!
Cheapest eSim you can find, you get what you pay for
Bought sims for Japan - Unlimited sim throttled even after 24 hours, and frequent dropouts and slowness otherwise. Also the support team talk weird lol Recommend you YO with a competitor tbh
Used to be good now legging behind
Generally good value for money, but app is confusing, deceptive discounts shown even if you don’t have their “currency”. Not compatible with latest iPhone but will happily sell you plan through the app. App knows what phone it installed on shouldn’t be hard to make a popup saying it’s not compatible with your device. Money wasted… Other providers now include hot spot ability.

It is working in the US but not at full speed
For our current US trip we decided to try Global YO based on their competitive pricing however the service is not satisfactory. First of all it is advertised as T-Mobile is the main carrier however it keeps rejecting commections ams only option is Verizon Wireless which is very slow and almost zero network coverage, I think they are limiting 3rd party users in terms of speed and connectivity. I purchased 20GB package but with the current speed around 5mbps LTE, it is impossible to finish the package.

The actual SIMs are great. I have used in Brazil, Colombia, America etc. No issues. However the app is actually nuts, makes the company look so shady. If they just focused on making an app for buying sims, not some weird media app, it would be perfect.

Einrichtung einfach, allerdings eine sehr schlechte Geschwindigkeit, nie wieder ! Vor einigen Tagen wurde der Support angeschrieben und leider keine Antwort bekommen. Es gibt definitiv bessere Anbieter!
Mixed review I think location matters
So I was recommended it by a friend and the first time I used it in Thailand I had zero issues no down time most of the time it was 4G but I didn’t mind that BUT The second time of using it was in UAE Dubai and Abu Dhabi and wow what an absolute waste of time. It hardly works and when it does it’s 3G…. It’s like watching a constipated dog try and take a dump and again 3G hardly works your constantly putting it on airplane mode and then back on just to try and get a signal of some sort. With the options available now in the eSIM market I think global yo need to up the reliability as done this trip has killed me so will be using someone else

Confusing thus useless
Not sure what they do for UX testing, but the app became so confusing I have deleted it. Additionally, looks like my account was flushed - can’t see eSIMs I purchased a year ago.
Worked well
It worked in every location between Detroit (where I entered US from) to Chicago (where I stayed). My only problem is that it took almost 30 minutes after I entered Detroit to start working. Luckily I already had my maps on, otherwise I would’ve been lost in the US without data. So my only complaint is that it didn’t immediately begin working when I entered US, which is arguably one of the more important times for it to start working.
Product good. Terrible support
Great product for roaming and very good prices. However I’ve tried several times to get a receipt/invoice so I can use as expense claim and support is useless, and not been able to get anything. Will use for personal reasons but for business reasons will pay 10x price on my roaming plan so I can least get reimbursed by my employer.
ESims
My eSIM didn’t work and wasn’t able to be fixed. They did finally process a refund after a few emails. An eSIM from the bigger and more well known vendor in this industry worked fine, but was also more expensive. All of these app based eSIMs are ok for a short term solution, but all are far more expensive than just going to the same local telco (which cost me $1/day unlimited vs. $12 for 3Gb). These can be more convenient, but if they don’t work instantly, that advantage evaporates.

Terrible scamming company
Unlimited 15-day data plan won’t work after 10 days and customer service is truly the worse. They don’t respond and when they do, it’s some generic message. I will be filing a credit card claim against them. Go for other esim companies that are more legit. I’ve been using esim while travelling for 3 years and never had any issues in the past except with Global Yo now. AVOID!
Great customer service
I had been using this on my son's phone when he travel to the US for basketball tournaments from Canada. It is cheaper than many other providers and worked well every time, except for the past weekend. I reached them out via support, and the agent always responded with professionalism. As soon as I provided everything needed they processed the refund. Hopefully it will work fine the next time.

I purchased an esim containing 10GB, the first few days worked perfectly fine and worked well. However it stopped working afterwards, I checked how much data I had left there was still 7GB. I tried removing and adding it again as a new esim however it did not work and instead it kept identifying as no service

Initially, when I first activated the eSIM, it wasn’t working. I contacted the chat support (you need internet for that obviously, so it might not be possible to do it), they told me to switch from 5G to LTE and the internet connection worked great for all my 4 days of vacation in the USA
QR code is not working
I did buy eSIM and when I try the QR code it said error unable to continue cellular configuration plus you update the app and now we cannot find it when you go on the webpage I login yes still on the old version, I can see it but when I go on my app, I don’t see the QR code to install.
Customer service
The actual eSIM didn’t work but customer service helped me get my money back so I think it deserved 4 stars 👍👍
Blatant issues allround
1. Yoyo tokens They gift you “YOYO” tokens or whatever for signing up and referrals etc but these tokens do NOTHING. There is no perceivable way to spend them. The only way they state is if you buy or top up esim data, of which the maximum you get is 10% off for 50 yoyos. But then you get 50 yoyos anyway for topping up. Absolutely useless reward program. 2. Misleading UI There is a button to add a new esim plan which I wanted to use for my wife. However the new plan came with the same exact activation code as my first and wouldn't activate a new plan. I contacted customer service and they said you cant have two plans active for the same country and any additional plans would be treated as a top up. There was NO obvious information regarding this, according to customer service, its hidden in the FAQ. If i wanted a top up id press the ‘TOP UP’ button not the ‘ADD NEW PLAN’ button. 3. Customer service Not to mention my experience with customer service, you wait in queue for ages and when I requested a refund for point 2. the chat got wiped. Then i have to wait ages and retype my request for a refund.

Tried to make my eSIM work for several hours. Super complicated. Just lost 40$.
Worked for Vegas Trip
I used the app to purchase an eSIM for use during a trip to Las Vegas. Setup was easy and the service worked great. The app interface seems a little gimmicky, but everything worked as expected and the prices are unbeatable.
Nahezu Nutzlos in Marokko
Prinzipiell funktioniert der Erwerb und das Aktivieren der E-Sim recht simpel. Fehler den wahrscheinlich viele machen: Versuch die ESim im Heimatland (also vor dem Urlaub) zu aktivieren - das funktioniert nicht weil nicht im ausländischen Netz. Dann wird die ESIM einfach mal gelöscht - hinzufügen kann man diese aber nicht mehr. Also Füße still halten und warten bis man im jeweils gebuchten Ausland ist. Dann lässt sich die SIM aktivieren - oder z.B. in Deutschland hinzufügen und NICHT wieder löschen. Nachricht vom iPhone ignorieren, dass die E-Sim nicht aktiviert werden kann und dann im gebuchten Ausland einfach die Phone Line aus und anschalten, dann wird die ESIM final aktiviert. Soweit so einfach. In Marokko wird der Anbieter Orange verwendet. Nicht die beste Abdeckung, aber okay. Jetzt zu dem eigentlichen Problem: Sämtlicher Traffic, den man in Marokko generiert, wird über die Niederlande geroutet und hier scheint ein Nadelöhr zu sein, weil der Anbieter seine Kapazitäten over-selled. Das Netzwerk (Organge) gibt also genug Bandbreite her, nur die angemieteten Server vom Anbieter brechen tagsüber unter der Last nahezu zusammen. Seitenaufbau auf einem Mobiltelefon circa 10-20 Sekunden, während mit einer normalen Orange-Sim Karte in einem 2. Handy die Seite sofort lädt. Bis morgens um circa 8 oder 9 Uhr funktioniert es noch, danach ist alles hoffnungslos überlastet. Ich kann daher nur von dem Anbieter abraten solange dieser nicht ausreichend Bandbreite zur Verfügung stellt. Dann lieber im Urlaub 5-10€ für einen anderen Anbieter ausgeben und sich nicht mega nerven, wenn auf einmal mitten in der Medina kein Google Maps mehr funktioniert trotz vollem LTE Empfang.

Service didn’t work, don’t buy!
The eSIM never worked while we were on vacation it said “pending” the whole time. Contacted their customer service and they took hours to respond each time. I spent a day troubleshooting and waiting for their response and then asked for a refund. They offered me to use the service on my next trip instead. Why would I want to try a service again that didn’t work I said no thank you and I asked for a refund. Waited for a response. Went back on the app and my account had been deleted, chat gone and my login no longer worked. Also no refund. This App is a scam. Do not use! I am now going through my credit card company for a refund.
Brought a $1 sim to try
Purchased a $1 eSIM so 72p just to see if it works due to all the bad reviews, initially it would not work, I emailed support, one thing they fail to tell you in the instructions and on support is you have to go into the app, select my eSIM and activate it. I only just noticed this when I got fed up trying to get it to work and was going to delete my account. So changed my review from 1 star to 4, it would be 5 if I hadn’t had the problems.
No good
Cheap because providing 3g connection on this day and age!! Wish I got told before paying cos I wouldn't use it.
