No more subscriptions
Cool concept in theory, but deleted as soon as the bait-and-switch began telling me I can’t continue with the app without a free trial. We shouldn’t have to pay money for something that is basically the 2020s version of PostSecret or Whisper.
Used to be really good but..
I’ve been using this app for a very long time now and it’s been a great way to vent or ask for advice without feeling guilty or embarrassed. I’ve even made some amazing friends on here which I’m still friends with today. But in one of the recent updates you can only read one letter every day unless you watch more ads. Which I’m sorry to say just ruins the purpose of the app. Most people won’t willingly want to watch an ad and so this means that your letters would hardly reach anyone. And even if it did reach some people, not everyone would have advice to what you’re writing in your letter. It’s a shame the app has changed to be this way because I would truly recommend it to anyone who struggles with talking about their feelings and wants to get advice from other people. I hope the developers could change it back to how it was before with fewer ads so the app could work better again and could actually serve its purpose.

A Place without Judgment
This app truly is a place where you can get your feelings out in anonymously without the fear of being judged or your business being all over town. The only improvement I suggest is to put the notification on the messages that were replied to so we don’t have to look for old messages
Tee
I am really liking this app. You have to pay for it to get better things like write more frequently and see other people messages. Other than that people message you on your post and up lift up. You can also add them as a friend and be the first to see what they post. I really do recommend this app.
App logs me out of my account and deletes it
Sincerely always logs me out and deletes my account, then why I try to make a new account it doesn’t let me, fix this issue and I’ll come back to the platform
Need more replies?
I honestly love this app, it’s a great way to speak my mind and help others. However, it feels like nobody actually ever replies to my letters. I reply to at least 3 a day to only be met with silence when i decide to write. Am i doing something wrong, and does anyone else have this issue?
Review
This app back when it was made was very good. It did help me a lot. Now though it’s really bad, everything is locked behind a paywall, nobody reads your letters or responds, and it’s full of ads and bugs.
Making money off sidal people
Yk whats crazy? Charging people to share their feelings and ask for help, but hey I cant blame you for wanting to make money in this type of economy.
Wish this app is bigger
Not only this app keeps you anonymous but it offer a safe space to say things off your chest without fearing social judgment especially when your identity is known. Though I wish the community is bigger so there more people to support each others!
App used to be good
I used to be on this app all the time. writing responses to people and trying my best to be anonymously helping others while sometimes venting myself. Everything used to be free. I could read 3-4 notes a day and reply to them then make my own and wait for responses. No I have to wait a day to read a second note?? As well as the fact that an ad right after reading one?? This is incredibly greedy and this app used to be incredible. I hate what it’s become

Money grab
This used to be an app where you could see as many messages as you wanted without having to watch an ad every second. it’s turning into nothing but a money grab and it’s pathetic. This used to be an app where people could feel safe and heard without having to watch a series of advertisements, just to help others
Pleasantly surprised! But….
Definitely a safe space! Being able to anonymously share my daily thoughts, vent, ask for advice, and much more has been very helpful. Also, on the flip side, being able to read & support others in return has helped me just the same. I look forward to opening the app everyday. Update: took a couple stars off because after having the app for a week or so, now they’ve put restrictions on several things in the app that wasn’t there originally. No I wasn’t on a trial either. Also, lots of bugs to work out. Disappointing.

Someone made me feel bad while I was struggling
Someone on this app told me very mean things on this app. This should be taken seriously. I seriously thought there was something wrong with me. I literally spiraled the whole day thinking about the response I got from this user named Trukfit. I suffer with mental health problems. I didn’t think this would be bad. So I’m typing this review because I’m genuinely so upset. I have so many things going on my life and I genuinely thought this app would be a safe space for me 😔
Amazing app… before the update
The concept was amazing, and the people here are very supportive and giving. I try to contribute to that culture as well. On the free version, you were allowed three free notes per day and you could either pay or watch videos to get more. I’ve done both. Now, you only get one free note from a new person per day, and you have to watch videos to get more. Even for your guaranteed free one, there is an ad that auto popped up while I was responding. I understand, needing to make money and supporting this app, but I feel as though limiting us to one new note is too much. Three was a great, willing to change this review to a five star if this gets fixed.
Pay to help people??
The pricing is ridiculous for an app that helps others. I used up the free trial and now I guess I’ll delete the app. $7.99/week or $29.99/year is wild. An app to help others should not be that expensive.
It’s alright..
I feel like this app is OK. I like the fact that I can talk to people anonymously and help them out, but I also feel like they shouldn’t be charging us to talk to more people. OK not everyone has the time to pay for like every month annually to help people out I feel like it should be free to get more letters and when this notification popped up about me having to rate them, I gave them a rate cause I like the experience, but I don’t have the fact that the only let us have three letter letters to write people too. It’s ridiculous. We need more. We are helping people.
Loving it
So far, I think I’ve discovered that I love giving advice. This app is wonderful for venting and letting things out and helping others. I love it!
Everything used to be free
This app used to be five stars but it sucks now. You used to be able to draw, add music, read as many letters as you want, and kinda have an anonymous friend for free. This app is greedy and plays an add right after reading ONE letter. The limit is two now and you have to pay to unlock more. This app used to be fun and FREE!!!
Good but…
I love the idea of this app and loving it in the first 24 hours, but unfortunately it will be short lived as I can’t justify paying for it, even the yearly subscription. There should be a 2 tiered system, free to use but more features if you pay etc. Shame I’ll be deleting it in a few days after the free trial ends 😔
Can’t even read multiple letters without a stupid ad anymore
I’ve used this app for roughly almost 5 years now and the longer I’ve used it the worse it’s gotten, especially recently because, apparently, you can’t even read more than one letter without either paying a subscription or watching an ad. I swear this app has gotten worse and worse the longer it’s been. If you really want to vent or anonymously post somewhere, I’d suggest going someplace else.
Wording seems AI
Some of the replies that I get are not your typical sentence structure and how things are phrased, which makes me question. Is there a prompt that that’s being given to the person On the other end because I’m not seeing the same prompt. I feel like some of them are genuine, which you can definitely tell the word structure is different.

I use this app for things I can’t tell my family or can’t bother my bother my friends about. Everyone’s really nice and I love helping others like they help me. Totally recommend this app if you’re a thought daughter and a yapper who keeps to themselves most of the time and feels more comfortable being anonymous.

This is the worst thing any company, especially one that aims to improve this world can do. AI is not a reliable way to let out emotions and vent because it is a YES MAN. When people chat to these AI’s they realize they will validate, everything they have so say and I really mean anything no matter how wrong it is. And I know there are restrictions to make that not happen but AI is so easily manipulated because it simply cannot think for its self.

Too many ads or paying for stuff that used to be free
I used to be able to read a few letters a day. Now it lets me read one and I have to watch an ad just to read another one. Like isnt the point of this app to help people just like how we need help? If anyone knows a better app that’s similar lmk !
It’s alright
I really liked this app at first but I have one big issue. Once you friend someone, they can see all the letters you post going forward and vice versa. I really wish there was an option to hide letters from friends. Even if the people on my friends list don’t know my identity, it still feels way less anonymous and it makes me anxious. Please add this option!!
Buggy
The premise of this app is awesome, but the app itself is really frustrating. The notifications are all messed up and have never worked right. It’s not worth the money. There is also a lot of people who aren’t there to help, but to judge and bully. Luckily there is a block button.
Yeah okay, but why?
I’ve used the app a few times over the past 6 months and here is my honest review. Overall, the idea is pretty good and I’ve yet to encounter anyone outright nasty, but it’s definitely not built on solid values. It’s a cash grab. You need to “upgrade” to read more than one letter, or to even delete any of your own letters after posting them. Basic things like that. It just rubs me the wrong way, because for an app that is meant to provide some sense of community support/venting space it seems to just want to capitalize off of people’s despair and cravings for feeling heard. For this reason, I’ve deleted the app. It just seems really weird. I get that these things need to make money, but charging for basic functions just gives greedy and seems like they’re taking advantage of vulnerable people.

To communicate with strangers possibly Help a stranger paying that much a week seems to be really expensive and it’s just Random BS sometimes and it may not be to those people but it is to a lot of people and you’re gonna pay that much a week. I doubt I will pass the three day membership. Try it out before you buy it.
Remove Emojis as a reaction
Please remove the reaction feature. No one seems to write a message back anymore. It’s such a shame that people just leave you with a half hearted response.

I used to love this app. But recently they locked EVERYTHING behind a paywall. You can’t USE the app for what it’s meant to be used for anymore. Why, as a mental health app, are we now requiring PAYMENT to HELP people??? I want the old system back. 3 readable letters a day, more journaling, more writing. Freedom to actually express yourself without an ad or paywall. Please bring the old app back. :[ Don’t become greedy. This was a great thing.
Design review and bugs
Version: 1.86.2 Bugs: - The text bubble goes on for miles with only blank space in it after the content sometimes. - implement a scroll limit in inbox at the last element. - friends list is useless if I cannot access the recent conversation history via their name. We’re talking across 3 threads.

Honestly this app has helped me just be able to vent and seek advice from real people. I have recommended this app to a few people. To be able to right your thoughts down and let them out anonymously and have absolute strangers offer their advice or experience has changed my life

Whoever made this app pretended like they genuinely cared about helping people out, then you have to pay to even use the app.
Great for advice
It’s rare that I write reviews about apps however this one has helped me through tough times. It’s fantastic some of the responses you get from people and everyone seems to be so supportive. The only downside is the subscription being so steep at £6.99 a week. I understand app devs have to make a wage however for an app like this which can help thousands to millions of people, it would benefit so much more at such a lower cost pcm.
Unfortunate
I’ve had this app for over 2 years and I really enjoyed it! It WAS refreshing, a great concept, everyone there was pretty friendly to one another, a way to share and be helped if needed. Human to human connection whether it be for good or the worst even tho it was anonymous. I loved this app, but ever since they hid everything behind a pay wall my likeliness has deteriorated. Money hungry creator(s). The beneficial app is no longer the same. It’s basically unusable/useless unless you pay to be happy. Being a plus member shouldn’t deteriorate the rest of the app for people seeking advice. The one thing they could have taken away is the ability to send emojis to others, then to keep your “streak” u would have to send a message to someone longer than a certain amount of characters. The plus members could be the ones with the emojis and other add ons, then I bet the reviews would be much better. I’m happy with all the recent reviews so far, but annoyed that there’s a much greater chance the creator(s) are probably not taking any into account….

Letters & money
It was a great app when I needed it. Then when I went back on it after a year I noticed the money greed the creators were after. Paying for letters having to watch ads ? To share my feelings ? An app which is supposed to be open for everyone isn’t that inclusive anymore is it cause I ain’t paying none of that I ain’t got no money for that. And also I got kicked out of my accounts never been able to log back In. I made a new account and none of my letters are sending so that’s just GREAT right amazing so it was nice now it’s meh
Not the Same.
I’ve had the app for a while, years. At the beginning when I first joined it was enjoyable, new, and refreshing. I wrote about my feelings, I got to talk to all sorts of people and those in different stages of life, I was on here almost everyday. But at some point I left. I left and came back and when I did, there was ads and paywalls. Now there’s even more paywalls. I have to wait to read another’s message. Every single thing is being put behind a paywall and the app is no longer fun. I liked when the app didn’t care so much but money truly runs the world.
