I have been with Bridgebright from the years of Bridgewater CU 45years ago, Merrimack, now BrightBridge. This credit union has wonderful kind and polite employees. The bank has been there for me through car purchases, graduate school class fees, first home ownership etc. and I am grateful. The online app is conveniently designed too. Thanks!!
Terrible.
This is the worst glitchy bank app I’ve ever seen in my life. I’m constantly locked out of it. I constantly need to re-save my device name terrible.

Deposit Check offline
Deposit Check (which was supposedly improved in the latest update) has been showing as Temporarily Unavailable for many days now. Same thing for the Credit Score feature. What is going on? Stop with the mergers and pay attention to your current customers
Works well, except for check deposit
As the title says, the app performs well but when you try to deposit a check you’re in for a nightmare. Check detection is just horrible. In auto mode it thinks it’s finding a check, takes a picture and then still rejects it. Manual mode is nothing better. It’s unable to detect and frame a check multiple tries and then the final picture still shows more then the actual check.

I love having all my accounts in one place where I can clearly see what I need to see. My only gripe is that I only get email or app notifications when the app is open. Which kinda defeats the purpose of said notifications.

Glitchy
The app is continuously categorizing payments incorrectly. A tax refund as a utility bill, a completely incorrect company. But hey, keep using Ai I guess…
Outstanding customer service
The BrightBridge CU is outstanding for customer service. We are using three locations- Quincy, Hanover and Bridgewater. Each single customer service representative is great, knowledgeable and takes care of you as you are their family member. Always with respect and high level professionalism. Our personal thank you to Alexandra( Quincy branch), Ronda ( Hanover branch), Tyler, Ian, Rose, Miakeyla ( Bridgewater). Thank you!
Mobile app is horrible
I want to move all money out of the credit union because their app is so bad. I use SunCoast Credit union also and their app is so much better.
Very easy to use
This app is really easy to use and to figure out. The app shows you all your money and in the account you have it in. Super easy to move money/add checks. Overall it is amazing and you should get this!

As the title suggests I have no trouble with the app aside from it being one of few apps that don’t fit dark theme icons
The updated the App
While the app when it functions it’s actually decent, giving it this score due to the latest update it rendered this app useless due to not being able to log in, please update to fix log in issue. Update: the developer updated the app and it works great. Hopefully it stays this way. My score reflects this.
Useless
Might be the most unreliable banking app iv ever used. 9/10 times you go to access it you get a never ending loading wheel and can’t even use it. Has been like this for multiple updates with no improvements at all.
Cannot view cancelled checks.
When I highlight a cancelled check transaction then select ‘view check’ it brings me to a blank page with only the word ‘done’ in the corner. Please fix.

Every update logs me out
Every time this app has too be updated it logs me out then makes me have too sign back in any always tells me cant find account. Fix it please
Not working
Since update on 01/22/25 can no longer access my bank. I am using an iPhone se iOS 15.8.3 Update. Downloaded app again and is now working. 1/22/25
App crashes
Try to use the check card transaction feature and app crashes. Every time without fail. Didn’t do that before the credit union did the merger & rebrand. Quality of the app suddenly very bad. Also randomly crashes for no apparent reason. What the actual heck?! Maybe spend money on the important stuff instead of fancy new logos….
Not happy
BRIDGEWATER CU has gone way down hill since taken over by MVCU. Not customer friendly. Taking my auto loan business elsewhere. Locked out mobile app after two mis-entries. Changed password, still locked out. Time to shop for another CU.

Name change
Has totally screwed up my business account deposits!!! I called to discuss this and requested someone to call me back, but nobody did! This Bank has changed names three times in the last five years. I can’t do this anymore and I’m working on getting everything transferred out of here. Including my mom’s accounts. Too bad cause I’ve been with this bank since 1984!!!!
Helpful app. Infuriating push notification system
I’ve set up notifications to alert me when accounts go under certain amounts. They seldom alert me promptly. Most aggravating example is when I turn app on to check my balance, and a flood of alerts suddenly ring out on my phone telling me that so and so account went under threshold hours ago. I should not need to keep the app open to be alerted in timely manner.

Apps really only good to check balance can’t pay on line bills check scan never works app closes unexpectedly, This will make me change banks as I need bill pay on app, not up to date at all
