Honestly I’ve never experienced this much technical issues with an airline and their website and app before. Never flying with Avianca again. Not worth the reads

App is ok. If you’re a star alliance partner with another program like Aeroplan, it is frustrating. Either use the website instead, or just consider alternative airlines. It’s difficult to get your points or use your status, so what’s the point of flying Star Alliance.

Wrong Flight Info
App continuously would show the incorrect flight information that was inconsistent with the flight number that was displayed in the app and the accurate flight details on our boarding passes. When the purpose of apps like this should be to streamline travel, this app primarily contributed to increased confusion and added stress to the traveling experience with Avianca

Por favor, mejor en su aplicación! Será necesita para comprar pasajes y no se puede!
La aplicación es muy deficiente para la gran importancia y logística que se necesita. Al momento de comprar el pasaje, se queda en la animación del avioncito más de 15 minutos y nada, de igual manera cuando uno quiere ingresar sus datos, se supone que ya están guardadas mi aplicación, pero hay que volver a escribir nuevamente todos los datos del usuario y contacto de emergencia, por favor, Avianca mejor en su aplicación!
Actualización software
Lo mínimo que un cliente espera es que la aerolínea le reconozca el inconveniente con millas adicionales ya que si no puede devolver el dinero o pagar una indemnización por los daños causados o gastos incurridos mínimo la devolucion de las millas equivalante a la distancia del vuelo cancelado.

This app is trash. It crashes every time you open it. Cannot use it at all. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Muy buena aerolínea y buen servicio de los integrantes del vuelo, lo único por mejorar es el servicio de alimentos o snacks.
Atención al cliente mala
Cuando se tiene problemas en compra de vuelos, una vez ya comprados o cancelados, no existe atención al cliente de una persona, todo es virtual y eso limita mucho para exponer el inconveniente, tanto así que hemos perdido la oportunidad de reclamar vuelos cancelados con las tarjetas UATP, nunca funcionaron. En oficinas en Quito, señalaron que esos reclamos solo se hacen por internet y ellos solo venden tickets.
Hay muchos retrasos
Tengo la mala experiencia de volar en Avianca, siempre que compro se demora el vuelo. Y últimamente veo que existen muchas demoras

Crashes every time I load it on my iPhone. They ask to rate the app, but it crashes before I can give it a deserved 1 star rating. Did any minion field-test this before releasing it?

Cuál es el plus de viajar con Uds?
un vuelo de más de 9 horas, en asientos duros, sin poder reclinarlo, espacios reducidos (tengo una altura promedio de 1.6m)y comida con precios un poco altos para lo que es en realidad(1 sandwich + 1 soda tibia $11), no se cual es la ventaja de viajar con ustedes? El personal súper atento, pero el resto dejan mucho que desear con los altos costos de los pasajes. Solo puedo decir, ¿qué es lo que ofrecen de extra, qué otra aerolínea no me de?

Crashes , cannot add trip
For a code share flight operated by Avianca, within the Star Alliance network, app crashes every time I try to add my trip/flight using Booking Ref# and Last Name on the reservation. So I cannot check in online and select my seat for the first flight segment of my itinerary operated by Avianca! Waste of time!! So now I will have to check in airport by which time there will probably be just the dreaded middle seats left.

Creo que se deberían simplificar los pasos para ver las opciones y tomarlas , más complejo cuando son más de una reserva, no se sabe cuál estás viendo, un alias puesto por el cliente podría ayudar

The app has improved a lot.
I enjoy using the app. With all the changes in aviation since the pandemic, this is a welcome change from Avianca ( Lifemiles ) . I used to fly with these Avianca a lot. They need work a little bit more with there partners to deliver more routes. Especially popular routes. Good move forward , hope to see the app routes improve! App is much improved ( navigation and search features) ..
Almost useless app
Boarding passes do not load through the app. You’ll get an email to check in with a link. This requires you to load in a bunch of information for the passengers then when your done you should get the passes but only got one. Go through it all again to get another pass but it comes in a different format that will not load to your wallet. Used to work much better 4 years ago but not any more.
Totally non user friendly APP
Great airline! APP sucks, it won’t keep my profile and it keeps telling me my email is not associated to life miles account. If I try to log into life miles from the app it says it dose not exist. Linkup does not work. Every time I book a flight I need to enter all the data for all the travellers. It sends me to the automated chat on wasap if I need support with no option to chat live. Please fix this! Make it simpler to book and pay for flights.

Compared to western country airlines in NA….Avianca beats then hands down … friendly accommodating & no flight attendants with bad attitudes as with Westjet & Air Canada . My top airline company 10/10 !!!!

Cada vez que abro la aplicacion para ver mis reservas tengo que ingresar mi lifemiles y contraseña. Es annoying que no almacene estos datos.
Buena pero...
La aplicación le vendría bien una nueva y moderna imagen, que de paso se ajuste a la pantalla de los iPhone.. En este momento tiene la resolución de los primeros teléfonos.
