No more PDT rules
No more pattern day trade rules!!! As of June 04 2026, TradeStation remove all PDT rules.. yea! No minimum account balance required, no worries if it’s less than $25k Control your own risks! I opened my account in August 2025 and have been doing ok with options trading. Thanks TradeStation for supporting us by removing PDT rules.
Needs massive improvement
Everything from: Delayed wire transfers In & Out, Limited Front-End customization Faulty execution system for trades. The only benefit is the discount in fees but you pay for it 10X elsewhere. Thinkorswim via Charles Schwab is where you ought to be.

Huge fan of the desktop but the app is so slooow. Putting an order or even changing/updating price takes so long and so many steps!! Why so many button before I can confirm a trade! Please update efficiency and speed. Too slow and too many Stella to place or update orders.
Inconsistencies
I use the app very actu for trading my acct. stocks and options The valuation of my accounts fluctuates like the waves on the ocean. Especially the total P/L. One minute it’s -100,000 the next maybe -16000. Market did not change that much. Also the todays P/L is just as bad. If I check it on my account I get one amount and if I check in balances it’s another amount. Numbers should always be consistent. No excuse for bad math
Decent app but could use some new features
I’ve been using TradeStation and TradeStation mobile to place all of my trades for the past 2 years. The desktop version is by far my favorite. The mobile version is definitely getting better for me. There are a few times during high volatility days where the app will lag and I’ll have to close it and restart it but that’s my biggest complaint so far which could be more of my phones problem than their app. Only thing I’d love to see in the near future would be able to add a take profit/stop loss for options like the desktop has and a way to adjust it from the chart screen rather than cancel/replacing it on a different screen.

This has got to be the worst Trading App,platform, experience EVER. 1st- account disappeared yes you heard right just wiped out zero dollars. 2nd- no explanation from Trade Station, no help, Just create another account. (Can’t even successfully recover or create new account system error. So all my funds & open trades just disappeared. Criminals activities. UNINSTALLED. APP SUCKS, LAME LAYOUT. Going out of business soon! Watch!
My preferred App to trade Futures but!
This app is 100% my preferred app to trade futures, but I really wish it had a max risk loss feature. I’ve been trading on another platform for that reason, and that reason only. When TradeStation decides to add the max loss feature then I will gladly trade with them again.
Shady business
I had money on an account just incase something went wrong with my main platform but they were charging me every mouth for data I didn’t use or ask for. Doesn’t even show up on the app that u get charged. Don’t recommend
Login issues
I have heard good things about this app and I am having issues trying to sign up. No where does it say you have to be 21+ but since I am under that it won’t let me put in my birth year
Overall a great app
The overall of this app is great. Once you figure out how to navigate through the app it’s fairly simple to use. Only thing is the live chat would be nice to locate on the app. Unless I didn’t find it.
No options risk/profit charts. Gives your banking history to 3rd parties via Plaid.
Also freezes every time I try to link a bank account. The app hides the UI when I go out of the app to get a verification code, and the app is stuck on hidden UI mode when coming back. Super lame. Obviously they don't want money! TradeStation has no alternative for deposits other than via Plaid, which will release YOUR ENTIRE BANKING HISTORY (each and every transaction, everything you have ever done in your bank) to third parties. The only way to use the app is via this HUGE privacy violation, or via an expensive wire transfer. They do not accept any other deposit options. This is totally unacceptable and I will not be able to try the app because of it. Moomoo UI is much better. TradeStation doesn't show an interactive risk/reward/profit chart like Moomoo. On Moomoo we can see the live chart as a trade progresses (not just when placing an order), making it much easier to visually see where the trade is on its journey. Moomoo can't roll individual wings of an iron butterfly though, while TradeStation can. TradeStation doesn't show me 0DTE or 1DTE options! No good!!!
Drawing Tools Do Not Sync??
PLEASE focus on getting the drawing tools to sync across the iOS and the web (you did a great job with watchlist sync last year). This has to be the number 1 requested feature, no? —Phil
Install issue
Unable to use app. Pressed login and I get a message that says the site is not secure. Tried with both safari and firefox. Can this not be used with a browser and cell data? Which would be odd because I have used this app previously on this phone with only cell data without a security warning.
Decent
App is solid, but a lot of features don’t load or work real well — like the lists — when you really need them to. For an investor, this doesn’t matter. For a trader, matters.

Literally will freeze, in the middle of a trade. Today there was a bearish gap on the Spy, I couldn’t even buy a put contract, because the options chart was not visible. If I could post pictures I would. This is not a platform for serious traders.

I recently downloaded this app because a friend told me they offer a $3,500 deposit bonus. However, after downloading it, I didn’t see any sign of that bonus or any promotion. In hindsight, it was probably unwise for me to get it, especially considering I already use three other platforms. One major red flag for me is when an app or service doesn’t offer a clear option to delete your account in the settings. That’s definitely a no-go in my book. Also after signing up, some one called me which are fine weird Robin Hood E*Trade in fidelity does not contact people. This was a mistake. I just called to have my account deleted because it can’t be done by me which is a red flag to me.

This might be the worst app I’ve ever used. It won’t log in because safari says that the website address is invalid. Once I finally get logged in, any swipe down logs me out again. This app is TERRIBLE for iOS and helped me make up my mind not to transfer any other accounts to TradeStation.

Position figures, etc
Everytime I check my Positions, figures are always different and not updated properly. Limited information of fundamental data of companies.

Can’t tell the difference in sim and live accounts. There’s only indicators on one page. Should be on every page.
Great App
The app provides clear graphs and good speed. I wish if there was a quick trade bar on the graph. Also when you press trade it takes you to limit order, wish if you could shift to market order in the order entry preference. That would make it quicker.

Funds Won’t Withdraw
2 months later and they still can’t figure out why I can’t withdraw my money.
Account Reports and Gain/loss statements
TradeStation account information must consider the need of clients from UK. They must make necessary changes for their clients in the UK, so that they can download customised reports and profit/loss statements in the financial year starting from 1 April to 31 March. Such a change will encourage the UK residents to use TradeStation for trading. They may also improve the WEB-Trading facilities. Dr Ranjit D Sumra
Light and dark mode removed
App is good. Looks like the latest update removed light and dark appearance, and left with just blue appearance. I like the screen to be bright and white. Checked all the settings but no where to find. Quite annoying
Pretty good — Missing basics.
Solid app and nice, flexible visualisations. They don’t offer dividend reinvestment which is pretty wacky.

Random changes to make you lose money
They switched the colors of the bid and ask columns randomly. If not caught, I could have been in a trade that lost money. Too many random glitches and log outs. This one here is unacceptable. You can’t randomly change the buy and sell columns and think that’s ok. Fix or we’ll have to take our money and students elsewhere.

Excellent app
Excellent app for trading. Pros: 1. One thing I love the most about it is the data it presents in real time in form of Matrix. I can easily tell the volume, the ask and bid quantity as well as prices 2. It provides relevant news in real time The con to trade station: It only has US stocks, you can’t get stocks in the London stock Exhange etc. It charges $5 dollar per command execution which is quite high in my own opinion but not unbearable
Fake account
Went to sign up and link all my info to and I got locked out once my bank account was linked then my bank account got drained and closed me out now I can’t get into this account or my bank account.
Charting
Everything is great but not the charting. Would really appreciate enhance the charting in the app as it's very annoying to use 2 different apps one for charting and one for trading .... Thanks
Canada isnt an option
Canada does not come up as an option for choosing where I live so I cant even make an account to start trading.
Good but I can’t roll option position from Australia Time zone
app 4.14.4 but can’t roll any of my positions. I click on the position I want to roll and tick the drop down checkbox. Roll Trade and Close are highlighted in the box at the bottom. I click on roll and it comes up with a box saying unable to roll option no further expirations available. If I click on the Trade and Close boxes it goes through. This also happens on my iPad. I have tried doing it with many other symbols QQQ and SPY with all the same result and obviously many expirations exist with them. Is this a problem with the app or with my TS account? I am Level 3 so should be able to roll. Client services have been informed but so far no good result. Your help would be appreciated cheers

MFA Not working - security issue
I have to keep entering MFA code over and over again. Not remembering login and each time asking to login and MFA code

Its nice app but there is limitations like in the positions and orders you should enable us to trade spreads and other strategies not only single orders. Thanks a lot
Useful app
Nice charts, however it would be great if there is a better way to quickly switch charts for different symbols. Charts can also do with at least some simple indicators.
