A Visual Masterpiece
Easily the best options strategy development tool out there. At this point I rely so heavily on this app that I may need to quit trading if it ever went away. Unbelievably easy to navigate and allows retail traders the ability to understand the lifecycle of the trade from start to finish. Well done!
Premium doesn’t work
Paid for premium and it didn’t work, field out for can’t proceed to next step! Cancelled
Almost Excellent
I wish it didn’t require so frequent log ins. It also doesn’t draw the username and password from the passwords app, which makes logging in a pain.
Full access is NOT full access
Potential if the app actually let you see the trades. I have full access by the way and it will not you view everything. Just a small number of trades. Not worth it.
Great app but buggy
Screen sticks after amending position. Closing the app doesn’t fix it. Probably won’t buy at end of trial but may come back later if this is fixed

Unusable
App is extremely unresponsive. For a second I thought something is wrong with my phone. But ofcourse it's only the app that's unresponsive. For multi legged options, if you change the multiplier for 1 leg, it changes for other legs too. So unable to setup butterfly for example.
Great tool when working properly
I must start by saying that this is a really neat way of evaluating option strategies; It helps you visualize what is happening with changes in price and time decay, etc. I really like that you can manually enter the price of a particular option so you can input your own numbers after you’ve executed an order, or even play out hypothetical scenarios. There is plenty to like, and I haven’t even gotten into some of the features like trade optimization and flow summary. As much as I like the app, there are a few bugs that are quite annoying. Namely, the app tends to forget your login information; You can almost bet on this happening on a daily basis. Also, when you are shifting from one expiration to another, this latest update somehow broke the app’s ability to properly display the mid-bid/ask values. If you have the bid/ask mode toggled and you change the expiration, the displayed value will revert to mid but it will still appear as though it is displaying the bid/ask value. You actually have to toggle through and back again to correct this. Lastly, when you are pulling up a saved trade and are trying to play with ideas for modifying or maybe rolling your contract,There should be a way to make sure you don’t inadvertently mess with the saved strikes and their price. I would suggest developing another feature to the app (not unlike the optimizer) that can help you visualize the effect of modifying an existing saved trade with the ability to keep track of profits and losses as a result of each move. Now that would be something else! Wish I knew how to code apps!
Seems like a good app but…
…tried to use it for about 20 minutes before it stopped working and I became unable to scroll on any tab within in the app. But during those 20 minutes, the app seems good, which is why I gave two stars. UI clearly needs work.
Wrong calculation
Your calculations are wrong in the software. For example: SPY closed at $422.06 today 5/7. Doing a Bull Put spread for the 5/10 expiration, selling 439 strike put and buying 424 strike put, your software calculates max profit of $1,463 and max loss at $37. This is obviously wrong. Same wrong calcs on Bear Call spreads. What's up with that?!?
Hands down the best options visualization app
OptionStrat is my go-to app for strategy visualization and simulation. There isn’t a single tool out there that provides an experience quite like OptionStrat does. This is a must-have for both new and experienced option traders.

Amazing tool for Option Investors but the last few days (10/2021) it been crashing and freezing . Hopefully the developer did not neglected the project and could fix the issue .

Nothing else to say other than…If you want an app to help advise your options decisions, you need an app like this. (If you have an app you like better, then great. Otherwise…no competitor??) This app has *taught me* about how the strategies work. I’m a chill, simple trader — long call here and there, long put peppered in. The info provided about the strategies (which may be pulled from Fidelity, not sure) is terrific. If you’re confident you don’t need this app, then great, GLHF. Otherwise…download it. It’s free, and at worst, you have a helpful tool installed.
