Kardia Helps Me To Maintain Heart Health
I try to check my heart health once a month, or if I’m having chest pain, and so far Kardia keeps my heart ticking and gives me peace of mind that everything is okay.
Not working
As soon as I made my account put in my credit card for a free one year trial the app it’s not working.
great device i
it is very easy to use it shows what i have i would like more detail but its great
does not read bp properly
bp readings from a bp7000 are not being imported. they were being imported before from a bp7450. the kardia intelligence part is useless. it lacks contextual i formation and does not account for trends or recency of data properly.
Moderately aggravating but better than nothing
The 1 lead model has issues. I have to take a reading 5 or 6 times to get one that doesn’t say “unreadable”. And yes I am sitting still the whole time
Kardia Use
This is so very easy to access, use, & read results. I’m very happy I bought it 3 yrs ago.
was once a great tool
you’ve made it way too complicated to use
iPhone 17 Pro
Got new IPhone & Case, but it is a difficult challenge every day getting my KardiaMobile device to record my EKG… often have to retake a reading 3 to 5 times after moving fingers around or wetting tips or adjusting the pressure… never had this issues before with my old Android phone.
M
The unit often has issues with taking clear readings
subscription
I shouldn’t have to keep paying for a subscription when I already bought the unit. Hundred dollars a year and that’s what I paid for the unit.
Dori
Very unique and accurate. interesting!
Member for over 5 years
I’ve been using KardiaMobile for years, but over time they’ve stripped away more and more of the free features to push users into paying for a subscription. Now I can’t even properly review my own results without subscribing. Thank God for AI. After all these years, I’m done with KardiaMobile.
AC-009
I have an earlier model than what’s currently available. It’s an AC – 009. Most of the time I’m happy with this however it is subject to the slightest electrical interference. If my electric blanket is turned on, I have to turn it off. If my phone is on the charger nearby or plugged into a charger, I have to disconnect everything nearby but other than that, it seems to do very nice job. My Cardiologist thinks it’s top of the line and since he’s the heart doctor and I can’t understand this stuff I’ll have to take his words for it
Professor
It doesn’t connect always and unfortunately seems to have electrical interference quite often.
Great but flawed
This little bit of kit has been invaluable in giving me assurance and providing information to medical staff. The fact that it is expensive and not everyone can afford it, is compounded by the fact you can’t change the battery, so once it’s flat it has to be replaced. Not acceptable in my book!!!
Reassurance
Its reassuring to be able to check from time to time.
Readings
Computer interpretations of the EKG’s are very often not accurate. Some are overread; poor correlation with a real EKG.
Not bad wish it show more arrhythmias
Great little companion for my heart, love the card device in my wallet
Frequently freezes
When this works it is great and very helpful for someone with AFib, such as myself. However, on iOS 26.5 the app frequently freezes and numerous restarts don’t improve the situation. Hopefully an update will come soon.
Not for me
Kardia keeps saying I have afib 2 doctors say I do not. But I do have a premature heartbeat.
Recommended highly by my Cardiologist
Easy and accurate. My interventional cardiologist highly recommended that I obtain this device.
Forced subscription
The product works ok. If you’re not perfectly still there is a lot of artifact on the reading. However it’s absolutely ridiculous that you pay over a 100 dollars for a product and you have to pay for a subscription otherwise it doesn’t work! I would not recommend.
Works well - will not allow upload of my iHealth BP cuff monitor
Works well - will not allow upload of my iHealth BP cuff monitor
App
Customers are not told that the app is required to get any advanced features before purchase
Frustrated
Overall, this app is very good and can be life saving. However, I find it very confusing to navigate, especially when you are a care giver for a very sick person. Getting straight to the point in an app is important when dealing with these issues. Customer help is useless, as the pre-configured answers don’t apply, and human interaction is not offered.
Great little device
At my cardiologist’s urging, I ordered the Kardia device to keep track of my AFIB and its been a great way to keep and share my results with my doctor, I recommend this device for anyone who needs to be aware of what is going on with your heart.
Nacho
Only works about have the time and def don’t work when you think your have an episode
Ça marche !!
Ça fonctionne vraiment
Revised App definitely no longer user friendly!
Hate the revised App. It is no longer user friendly. Where were their UI experts? Trash interface now.
Battery problems
This unit has worked excellent for 2 ish years but after changing battery cover to battery slot will not close and has had to be taped down.
Reliable
I started using Kardia about 4 months ago when I felt some fluttering heartbeats. It was accurate to identify possible AFib which turned out to be accurate after an ER visit diagnosing me with new onset AFib. Results have been consistent every time.
Piece of junk
Have bought 2 Kardia Mobile and 1 Kardia 6L. They work for a few months and then just stop working. When working they want to “upgrade” you for $15/month to get it to say PVC and 2 other common waves forms. Absolute junk. Worthless app and devices that are incredibly cheap and don’t last longer than 3 months, based off experience with 3 different devices. Save your money.
Subscription enthusiasts
I have a kardia 6L . I find the app ( and device ) sync well and function as advertised . I do find though that the app interface to be pervasive with selections that route you to a monthly subscription. ($$) This approach to the UI has the effect ( on me) to highlight the limited functionality that comes standard since it seems almost any feature beyond basic ECG requires the monthly subscription.
App doesn’t work overseas
Bought the 6-LED version and a membership to monitor my EKG while travelling in China. The app doesn’t work in China and the device is useless without the app! It gives me anxiety for not knowing my heart condition. I have contacted support but they only cancelled my membership without a refund so far
Up Charge
I really like the device but I spent the extra money for a better product the 6L and there is an upcharge to take full advantage of it which was not clear when I purchased the better model. I’m hindsight I should have saved the $60 and gotten the standard or card version.
Peace of mind
When you have a cardiac history, this can help you with peace of mind. And although it doesn’t cover everything, it does help you to understand your heart a little bit better.
PVC’s
Kardia shows PVC’s but does not mention the findings in the results.
It is complicated
Received this item on doctors suggestion. It is easy to use but gets complicated after test as it tries to sell me other features, does not show results other than saying no abnormalities were detected. Then asks who’s test it was but doesn’t indicate that it got that info. Screen is gray and not highlighted to lead you to next step to completion. Overall, it is not user friendly other than taking the test. That’s when it gets difficult as to what’s next. I just shut it off. Can I actually trace past readings with some interpretations ? I am somewhat dissapointed as T V ads touted it’s ease of use.
Works OK
The app works OK, but it’s really only there to get you to send it to their experts to review your data. The device never gives you a definitive indication. I use another device that make sure I do know that I am having an atrial fibrillation attack.
reassurance when you need it
There’s really nothing like KardiaMobile. When you feel a flutter, you do it when you’re feeling good you do it and it tells you, “yes it’s OK!” Or, maybe better call the cardiologist —nothing like certainty! You can even send the EP the tracings! Well worth the fee!
Poor System Change
Your app changes are a cover for money grubbing adverts to enhance your income.
Hard to turn on
My only issue is that it is at times extremely hard to turn on. Beyond that it seems to really function well and give good results.
Its just an excuse to sell you subscriptions
Nothing on the box when you buy one of these says “lots of features will require a subscription”. Want to detect abnormalities other than AF? That’s extra. Want to just be able to search all your recordings? That’s extra - unless you pay extra all you can do is scroll through readings which is no joke when you have hundreds of them.
Buyer beware
No warning that you have to get a yearly subscription to access all 6 of the arrhythmias the Kardiamobile device is capable of detecting. It also DOES NOT send the tracings to the Apple Health app.
Easy Peasy
I know the “look” of my baseline ECG now. So easy to see if anything is up.
Cannot create account
Trying to create account but it says my email address is already in use. It says if i have an omron account to login with that. Tried that and it says the login is incorrect. Useless.
portrait mode only on iPad?
Device and App are solid and easy to use, disappointing that iPad version does not yet support device rotation and landscape mode which would be very helpful to look at results, also surprising that only .pdf export is supported and no spreadsheet option. 3.5 stars rounded up…
Faulty electrode contacts
Only had unit for a few months and bottom electrode does not make good contact, even after cleaning. I have to wet my knee to get it to work; and the whole point of having it is being able to use it during an “episode”. If I have to run around looking for water; it defeats the whole purpose of having it.
Not sure how accurate it is
We had an unclassified reading with high heart rate. Cardiologist said it was AFib
