although the app is good sometimes im constantly being told my bus is due or close and it never shows up? whats up with that multiple times im sat waiting for a bus that never comes sort this out pls
Regarding 7.0.0 updates
No longer support Paypal, payment requires card info directly. Also phone number is required (otherwise you cannot login your previous account) with no reason I guess.

Can’t even sign in
You need to sign into the app to buy tickets in advance. But if you’ve got an account, if you try and sign up you’re taken to a page to create a new account. “First Bus”? More like “Cursed Bus”.
Tickets don’t scan
Updated the app recently because my monthly ticket works absolutely fine on first buses but doesn’t scan on the D&G buses…both buses use the same machines and scanners so don’t understand why the ticket still doesn’t scan after updating ???

disgraceful
i really feel for you if you have to put up with this awful bus company. they never get the times right, lie about busses turning up and refuse to let you know that a bus has cancelled. busses disappear and reappear on the map non stop, and itll tell you your bus is coming but it never comes. worst travel company i have ever had the displeasure of using.
Inability to verify email
The app and the service from the drivers is great but sometimes after payment of student ticket I get mails to verify my email address but after submitting I get error messages.
Needs so much work
So many bugs! I could put together a better app.
Awkward app
Difficult to get a decent range of bus times at one go, I managed 3 times only , useless if your not sure of your arrival. Why dont you get a list of say 3 hours so planning is easy

It was perfect but since O update to ios8 it start close every time I try open it
Needs improvement in route display
App is great except missing one crucial component. When actively following a route, it only shows your starting and ending stop, and not showing upcoming stops. This causes confusion as upon seeing my end stop I request the bus to be stopped a stop or two early. The app should showcase the intermittent stops along the route you’re following.

great app- keeps you safer as being able to plan journeys to the minute. no hanging around. usually always spot on! makes life easier and we all need that thankyou

You've Sacrificed UX for UI
The previous version worked quite well when it was possible to see how many minutes away the bus was from your bus stop in real time and predict when you should be at your bus stop. This current version discards what was one of the most essential features for the "cuteness" of being able to see the bus moving to your destination. However, it forgets that users just want the quicker option and don't want to do the mental math of finding their bus stop and estimating how far away a barely moving digital icon is from that bus stop in a maze of streets on a map. Within the few days since this new version was released I've missed my bus more times than I have in the past year combined. At the very least, have the option for users to see the time left for the bus to get to them ALONGSIDE your new moving icon idea. You've sacrificed usability and user experience for a fancy, shiny new feature. This should ideally be a 1-star review but I'm adding a star solely based on the expectation that you'll do the right thing

Can’t track buses since update
Can’t track any buses since the update - pretty much my only reason to use the app!
Delay of bus
The delay of bus in the recent time at paisley is really affecting other activities
Improvement needed
The layout of the app is not compatible with the new dynamic Island interface where some buttons on the top corners eg the cross to exit mtickets cannot be clicked as it’s interfering with the battery icon

Apparently I’m in another country. Also when I do finally see my area there are no busses and only shows my stop not the ones before so I can see bus coming. Please sort it out

It just the time of the bus is coming it can be so bad.🥴
Unreliable routes returned via search
Need to improve search results when a bus has been canceled. That canceled bus will still show up in the route options. Most recently I found that they still showed results when no buses were running that day. They should also list the bus search in a separate location than the plan because you can’t toggle between them without losing the plan you created.

This is an easy way to get bus times and see the routes. I can't figure out how to make a route a favorite though. Overall, convenient.
Quick update needed for service change.
First Bus Scotland does not update their service change via apps. I buy weekly passes all the time. It’s a waste of customers money if they didn’t get the service they have been promised. I used to take last bus (X38) from Winchburgh to Falkirk at 11:29pm but that service is not available from February and their app still shows that I can get that last bus. That’s very unprofessional and unreliable from First Bus Scotland.
