Great local entertainment app
MeWatch is a great app for watching local shows, dramas and other entertainment. It’s easy to navigate, and I like having so much Singaporean content available in one place. The variety is good and it’s convenient to catch up on shows whenever I have time. Overall, a useful and enjoyable app!
Poor app performance
App keep crashing and what is unbearable is the mandatory 30 seconds ad before viewing any live content. Imagine trying to catch the news when you just got home and the ad is played, missing the most crucial news.
Great way to watch the World Cup!
Though expensive, allowed me to watch the World Cup at the convenience of my home!
TV app
Always have ads to interrupt the experience. MeWatch app on TV is worse, always lagging and purse.
Good Selection of dramas
Having good selection of dramas movies and shows and can watch live TV on the go and many free contents.
Great Local Streaming App!
It’s easy to navigate and has a good variety of content. Great for relaxing and watching something anytime!
Poor
Poor streaming capabilities, despite being an app for so long.
Reliable entertainment app
The app is especially useful for catching up on missed programmes. It is a great choice for anyone who enjoys local and famous content.
Buggy on Apple TV
Crashes frequently on Apple TV while trying to “View TV Guide”. Lacks customisability; I don’t want to have to confirm every time I want to exit the app.
Free movies, dramas,
A free app to watch movies, dramas and sports events. Streaming a little bid slow
I like it
Beat us
useless app
Crashing is the only thing consistent with this app. Crashes on both wifi & data. open & close app still crash. uninstall & reinstall still crash
Great
Can find old shows and loads relatively well. Would be nice to have a wider variety of shows.
Frustrating experience
Extremely disappointed with the mewatch app. The user experience is extremely frustrating. The most annoying issue is that when I’m using mobile data, the app repeatedly pops up a warning every few seconds reminding me that I’m on data. This is completely unnecessary and disruptive. Nowadays, many users have generous or even unlimited mobile data plans. There should be an option to let users choose to always stream using mobile data when Wi-Fi is unavailable, instead of forcing the same reminder over and over again. Another major issue is that the Live TV feature frequently doesn’t work properly on mobile devices. It’s incredibly frustrating when you’re trying to watch live content and it either fails to load or doesn’t function as expected.
Improvements
Keep lagging but easy to find my channels
Crime
Watch
Downloaded videos missing
Downloaded 4 videos to watch on my flight. End up when I go to “My Downloads”, the popup says I have 4 videos downloaded but the page shows “No Videos Downloaded”….
The local experience
Best place to rewatch old SG favourites
Phone getting hot
Phone goes high temperature While watching 2 episodes. Iam in the ac room. Kindly developers, watch this and optimise pls … otherwise everything is good and user friendly.
Improvement could be made but is a nice app to use
Mewatch is a solid app for streaming Singapore reality shows and dramas. The content selection is nice and it’s easy to use, but the app could use some improvements. Like smoother playback, fewer bugs, and more reliable subtitles.
Review
User friendly and easy to use
Crashing
Can’t even stream local games without crashing, useless app
Catch up to your local shows
Good app for rewatching your favourite local shows on replay
App slow and hangs often!!
Always slow and hangs!!! Midway or sometimes will buffer forever!!! Especially if its via TV
Error message when trying to watch from overseas.
Error code when I want to watch from overseas.
Worth subscribing!
I really enjoy using mewatch! I love that with the subscription, I get to watch my favourite Channel 5 and Suria shows before they’re shown on TV. The app is easy to use, and I can watch whenever I have free time, whether I’m at home or on the go. The streaming quality is good, and it’s so convenient to never miss an episode. Definitely worth the subscription!
App crash
Every single time be it premium channel that i PAID FOR or free channel, after a minute or so of streaming it will stop and pop up message “We are currently experiencing issue playing your video” Honestly rubbish even during world cup couldn’t watch in peace bloody hell fix it
Can see the improvement since that start till now
Hope to see even more content from other countries
Very user unfriendly
Why make people sign up? App tends to hang. Forget it.
Fair use
App needs to be refreshed. But can find past shows on tv.
Reliable & Efficient
In the past, we rely on television. But technology is advancing, there’s no need for TV to watch shows, Singaporeans can rely on MEWatch to watch and support local shows. However, I’d appreciate if the number of ads can be reduced. It’s extremely annoying and I hope the app developer can fix that. Otherwise, it’s a great app to rewatch missed shows from TV.
Horrible
Ads are super long and unskipable . Very frustrating as there can be many ads. Super disruptive and annoying.
FIFA W.C. 2026 Mexico vs South Africa - commentary
Nice tone and clarity from the commentator !
Sorry, this programme is not available in your location
I don’t get it, I can watch the Singapore series halfway, and suddenly it will appear as “Sorry, this programme is not available in your location”. Like huhhhh???? I’m watching the eps halfway
醋劲100
There’s audio issue with some of the drama eg 醋劲100. Thank you.
Fav app!
I’ve subscribed to Starhub-Tamil & never backed up! Always have movies or shows to watch when Netflix or Prime have nothing interesting to watch. Why buy a set up box when you have mewatch premium to subscribe at a reasonable cost! Happy kid
Extremely laggy app
Extremely laggy app with so much advertisements. Needs to improve a lot. Cannot make it as per now.
Subtitles
The offers some good content and works fine on handheld and smart tv but why no English subs for PRC drama? The shows have English subs on you tube. It’s a shame meWATCH cannot offer the same. Please consider. Thank you.
So far so good, but restricted
I start watch KIN in Viu was looking forward full version and finally i got it. Works fine with my iphone and mipad so far so good. But most movie only available in Singapore.
Some minor things
Hi, I had a look at this application. There are quite a few bugs that need to be addressed, but this has some good contents. With some improvements and proper fixes, this can be into a high-rated. If you need any help or support, connect.
The video keeps pausing
The video keeps pausing and buffering, and it’s very slow. I don’t have this issue on any other streaming platforms—it’s only happening on mewatch.
Embarassing
Regular crashing for live games..might as well no need to show..
Much better than toggle
No longer as laggy as before
Cannot watch stream
I already download…. MeWATCH but is something wrong this app What happened this application I already try it Others drama serial can get but this is one Nothing
Okay…
Sometimes runs into bogus HDCP issues and won’t live stream video, only audio, on my Apple TV device till I restart the Apple TV. Streams can be over compressed, which compromises quality. The inconsistency of the UI across devices is also a little frustrating.
Have improved
The experience has improved from previous. Will continue using
By far the worst ever streaming app.
Just 5 minutes of watching and it heats up your phone and drains your battery so quickly. Day and night difference compared to other streaming apps!
Improvement
You can enhance the apps by making the show auto play to next episode instead of replay.
Please fix volume control for chrome cast
Cannot change volume on chrome cast. Fix please.
Picture-in-picture feature
This should be very useful as users are able to watch and/or listen to programs at the same access other apps or work they would want to simultaneously do.
