accessibility, support, phenomenal!
Just checked out the change log for the current release! Whenever I see attention paid to accessibility like voiceover. For example, I'm your champion! Keep up the great work!
Very Inaccurate
I compared the weather forecast for Melbourne on this app with the official Bureau of Meteorology forecast - the results varied substantially and I know which forecast is more accurate and which I would trust. So no, sorry, this is simply not good enough.
Voice audio playback not working
Neat feature but now no longer working. Worked once and that was it. Hard reset the phone and deleted and reinstalled the app. Still nothing. Not a lot for Canadian city’s available. Especially in my province.
Good app but when connected to CarPlay… well
Sucks bad. Wanted an app for CarPlay just to show the temperature and the weather forecast. Thought I got a good thing when I downloaded the app but when I connected it to CarPlay there is no resemblance at all to the actual app if used on my phone. Deleted.
Works great, then it doesn’t
During the day it’s the best weather app I’ve used, but every night it stops working.
Keep up the excellent work.
The list of updates and improvements in the latest release v.8.0.0 is remarkable. In the words of Keanu Reeves: “Whoa, Weatherology!” Reviewed by just a civilian who lives on SE Vancouver Island in BC.ca
Not working in Canada
I guess the app work fine in the USA, but in my small Canadian town there’s a 10 degree Celsius difference between reality and what the app says.
Some Good / Some Bad
This app has the ability to be Apple CarPlay compatible and can read an audio transcribed daily weather conditions forecast in almost any location so this is a fantastic feature! Plus the app has a really clean and aesthetically pleasing interface which is quite detailed and simple to navigate! Where it falls short is it’s accuracy (particularly with temperatures) and this is very disappointing… is often 4 - 5 degrees out which is simply not acceptable!!
Excellent
I find this app so informative, accurate and a time saver. All the information in one place.
Doesn't Work with Carplay
Says it works with Carplay but it doesn't appear in the list of Carplay apps in settings so there's no way to add it. I realize Apple restricts Carplay functionality but I at least expected to be able to add an icon and be able to click on it to get an audio forecast. If that's not possible how is this carplay compatible?
Home location?
App can’t find my home and other locations even although there is a BOM weather reading station there. Very limited cities/towns to search in Australia.
Weather
Best weather app I’ve ever found
Forecasts are wildly incorrect
The app user interface is great but unfortunately the forecasts are so inaccurate that it’s totally useless.
Lack of suburbs for Sydney Australia
Very limited home suburbs to list as home location for Sydney Australia. Also need to be able to silence audio if not required.
Best On Market
I have tried many and I mean many weather apps. Many seem cookie cutter and don’t offer unique features. Weatherology however changes everything. What makes this unique is the meteorologist who provide audio daily updates. Makes the app seem like it’s created by a local team. Appreciate that in an area that is often missed by local news. I give it a 5 star rating even if missing the import widgets.
Usa centric
No Canadian search for location. Couldn’t find home city so dead ended there. Had to delete. Useless
Love the app but
Not working in car play. ability to see radar in car play is important
London Ontario N5z3E1 not recognized
‘‘This app does not work Weatherology is way more accurate than the weather network Great Customer Service, Thankyou
Get it working and I may update my review
It’s impossible to rate an app that won’t load. Just keeps dropping to desktop/home screen
Need update
This app is okay but needs Metric Measurements as I don’t use Mph.....
Bring location services for CarPlay to Australia
If you bring location services to Australia for CarPlay this app will be perfect. I love it!!
No Celsius?????
Why can’t you change the units? That makes this app useless to me!
Wrong country
Can someone tell the app developers the rest of the world uses Metric! Other than that the app works.
Very Nice
This is great - easy to use and perfect even in Australia 👍
Can’t change from Fahrenheit to Celsius.
Can’t change from Fahrenheit to Celsius.
Very Convenient
Love two features in this app ( convenience and ease of use)
