Nach Update auf 5.x schlecht
Nach Update auf Version 5.x kaum noch zu gebrauchen. App braucht lange zum aktualisieren der Nachrichten. Oder stürzt dabei ab. Die Anzahl der Nachrichten bleibt auch oft hängen. Schade, aber mit dem Update ist sehr viel kaputt gegangen in der App

Complicated and hard to use. Not intuitive at all.
Some bugs
Badges are not getting updated, even if all Messages are read and deleted. The app is very simple and could improve usability.
Best thing invented besides Tailscale
There are two and only two things that deserve five stars, and this is one. I guarantee you should sign up for it. Seriously. Do it before it costs $20 because it should and it's so useful they'll probably have to do it
Not great for the watch
I got this mainly to use the Apple Watch complication but I’ve found it to be really intermittent. Sometimes it will work for a couple of weeks, sometimes only for a minute or two and I end up having to uninstall and reinstall it on my watch to get it working again
Good app
Would like a way to remove the Pushover overlay icon on notifications so I can customize the full icon. Perhaps a higher tier unlocks that feature.
Push Notifications didn’t work
Disappointing, spended a lot of time, it didn’t work
Simple to use from Python & PHP and cost effective
I needed to know if pieces of my system were working. Email, working through a completely free notification solution, or a few minutes with Pushover? With a free trial and functionality that I had not thought about but wanted to use when I found out it existed, the choice seemed simple. And it was for my low volume, English use. No problems. Well worth the nominal cost.
What a great app!!!
There digital is so confusing in this space but this app legit cuts thru the clutter and rises to the top. I don’t even usually rate apps but this one has made my life so much easier in that anything in my Microsoft world among multiple machines can now funnel notifications thru this platform. I HIGHLY recommend this app!!
Wont even let me sign up
From the beginning received the message-you submitted too many sign-up requests. Tried my other email address and receive a message about email already in use even though I have never used the app before. Very frustrating. Thanks for wasting my time
Brilliant, except for iOS custom sounds
Pushover and its API are absolutely brilliant. My only gripe is that the firing of a PHP/CURL notification will only use the default sound on iOS, and not the custom sound you’ve uploaded and tested as working in the dashboard.

Leider werden auf der Apple Watch keine Bilder angezeigt. Habe Pushover Support angeschrieben, keine Reaktion.
Great, besides the glitches
Well worth the small one-time investment. The one thing that bugs me is the “Acknowledge” button often glitching below the text in a message.
Easy to setup
Perfect poor man solution to put a basic monitoring in less than 1 hour for the cost of a cup of coffee

I’m trying to buy this app but there appears to be zero way to buy it through the app itself. What kind of UX is this? Am I missing something?
Good App, Responsive Service, but Please Fix Accessibility Issues
Been using PushOver for a while now and it's a great service, very responsive, just the thing for implementing push email for a self-hosted server. However, both the website and app have some VoiceOver accessibility issues in need of fixing. The most serious of these is that the critical alert volume control is completely inaccessible, so please do fix that, but there are also a few unlabelled buttons throughout the UI. These are mostly possible to accommodate through trial and error, but fixes would be appreciated. Thank you.
No intel Mac support
A little ridiculous that you need an Apple Silicon Mac to be able to use this on OSX. Not sure if this is due to Pushover or Apple, either way it’s disappointing this close to the transition from Intel.
Notification badges not working, otherwise great
Notification badges on desktop is not correctly reflecting the number of unread messages. It is ever increasing regardless of messages being read.
Won’t open on 26.6.2
Love using Pushover for sending myself notifications through various projects such as Home Assistant and some custom code I’ve written for things. Unfortunately, after upgrading to 26.6.2 it will no longer open. Nothing happens, just won’t open. No other apps exhibit this issue, push Pushover.
Not at all simple
Rather complicated to get set up, and I couldn't get it to work regularly nor could I get it to get audible alerts easily or reliably. Giving up on this app.

Leider nicht mehr nutzbar
Seit dem letzten Update funktioniert die Notification zwar, aber in der Übersicht wird auf allen drei eingerichteten Handys nichts mehr in der Zusammenfassung angezeigt. Auch die einzelnen Kategorien bleiben leer. Bitte nachbessern .
Fantastic as it overrides Apple settings
I like that I now get notifications without fail on my iPhone. The only change I would ask for is a way to set the length of play for the sound (10, 20, 30 seconds as an example). Then it would be perfect for me and it’s the only reason I didn’t give it five stars. Certainly worth every cent of the $7.00 lifetime fee per device.
Lautlosmodus/Stummmodus
Funktioniert nicht wenn das Handy im Stummmodus ist. Mitzwei IPhones getestet mit identischer Software, eins funktioniert aber das andere nicht

For five dollars lifetime (per OS/channel) this is an unbeatable value I use it for my personal projects and it’s very helpful for things like monitoring my homelab Thanks dev team!

Too long notification
One gripe
Great app and really helpful. One gripe is that for a notification app, the notification sounds are out of the 90s and need an update. Functionally really useful though.

Worth every penny
I use it to receive push notifications from custom web apps. Works great, easy to set up the app on my phone and use the API from my web apps. 100% recommended.
Encrypted message
Lately it gives “encrypted” messages. Have to open the app several times a day to temporarily fix it
Works well but could be better
I find the app works well. I have it on 2 devices but deleting notifications on one device doesn’t delete them on the other. Very tedious to have to delete the same notifications on 2 devices. A select all option to mass delete would be useful too.

One way push
You can only push notifications to your phone but not the other way around. What a letdown!
Excellent app however....
Does what it says on the tin and I’m sure it works well for a number of situations.... however I’ve tried to use it with a back up software solution to notify me of success/ failures... it’s ok but don’t expect real time notification, which I suspect is because the originating software is polling results only at intervals to post on to pushover and often it can take ages for the notifications to come through... not good if the backup has failed.. if it worked in real time this would be an amazing perfect cheap solution and for many situations where the output is under user control there would be no problem.. not so ideal when you are relying on other software to do its bit. To be fair pushover does warn you that some issues are out of their control.

Works as advertised
I use PushOver to get notifications from various custom services for work, the notifications are fast and work very well whilst being easy to use. The only reason my review is 4 stars is because I feel £5 per device is a little steep but I do understand people need to make a living. All round good system and app.
Great app but...
It could be better if we can delete more event in one time. Same as mails for examples.
