Is there any chance the developers can add dark mode? Thanks.
Calendar does not give monthly scheduling options
So the calendar does not let you program in options for a parenting schedule that isn’t weekly. It has no monthly scheduling options at all. For example, my schedule is to generally have my kids Monday after school until Friday school drop off, with my ex generally having them Friday after school until Monday drop off. That part it could handle. However, I also get the kids every third weekend of the month, which is impossible to program in, because there are no monthly options for interval. My ex also gets the kids the first two Mondays of each month, which is also impossible to program in. As a result, the calendar function is worse than useless. Please update it so people with monthly intervals can use your app.

I am very happy with the service provided by OurFamilyWizard. Every time I have needed assistance, I have received excellent support. In the past, Tony assisted me in Spanish, and he is truly an incredible person and an outstanding professional. He always speaks to me calmly and respectfully, with a genuine desire to help me find a solution. He is extremely polite, patient, efficient, and professional. More recently, Nancy has also been assisting me in Spanish, and she has been wonderful as well very patient and always willing to help. Unfortunately, many of us who use this application deal with difficult co-parenting situations on a daily basis. Having a support team that is patient, understanding, professional, and efficient makes an enormous difference. Over the years, I have seen OurFamilyWizard continue to grow and improve, adding more and more tools that make communication between parents easier. There is one feature I would really love to see added in the future: the ability to record or display the location from which a video call is being made and where the child is located at that moment. For parents who share parenting time between two households, this would be an extremely useful and important tool because it would allow us to know where our child actually is during the call. I believe this could provide greater peace of mind, transparency, and security for families using the application. It would be amazing if this feature could be implemented someday. Thank you very much for the excellent service. I especially want to recognize Tonny on and Nancy for their patience, kindness, professionalism, and dedication. The fact you can only pay annually is a joke not everyone can afford to pay the full amount upfront!

Hate this app
I can’t imagine why anyone would choose this app if not forced to by the courts. There is no free version and it’s an absolute ripoff to parents who have no choice in selecting a communication method. There is no convenient chat feature. No streamlined text style message thread. You’re basically paying to write each other emails and have no format choices to do anything different. It’s inconvenient, slow, and frustrating. I absolutely hate messaging this way. Being forced to use this app has made communication HORRIBLE. What a ripoff!!!!
Almost perfect
The app does flag words that it doesn't deem appropriate, but it seems there are plenty of ways around that by putting little stars or leaving Space between the letters so it's not completely protective of abuse.
Constant issues
I used to have an iPhone 15 and suffered from constant lag, force closing, and constant freezing during video calls. I upgraded to an iPhone 17 because they said iOS 26 on iPhone 15 was the problem. It was OK for a while, but now I’m back to all the same issues. I can’t reply to messages without having to force close the app. Every phone call we have, it’s frozen more than it’s active. The video freezes, but the audio is continuous. My signal is typically very good with 300 GB download speed. There’s no excuse for having an app with a cost of $150 annually with such poor performance.
Unsend or Edit
The app should have the option to be able to either unsend an email or edit one after it’s send.
OurFamilyWizard App
Has helped me communicate with my Ex Wife for over 8 years now. It is worth the extra money and effort. It was recommended by my divorce attorney who knew what I was dealing with. Communication can’t be altered deleted or erased. It keeps both sides honest and can be court monitored. A must for some families who need to be informed and accountable.
Extortionists
These people extort families by forcing them to use their app through government contracts with family court. We don’t have a choice but to give this company a combined $600 annually to use them. The app is buggy, it crashes constantly, who knows what they’re doing with the video recordings of our children. We don’t have a say in it. These people are disgusting and no better than Flock.
Optimization requires
Optimization of the application functions is required - date/time UK not just US, prompts for actions such as expenses (it can be logged but there is no function of ping on why has it not been approved, paid, completed), events should not be added to one parent’s day by the parent who does not have custodial care on that day without the approval of the parent to who that care day is assigned, the tone screener has poor AI capability and there seems not be no consequence within the app for messages that are ‘negative’.
Missing simple things
Unfortunately, simple conveniences, like dark mode, Mac app support for the iPad app, and bug-free messaging just aren’t there yet (messages show up late or require manual refreshes). Additionally, there’s no ability to invite people like parents or caregivers for calendar access to help support a child. The left side bar on each tab is clunky and not the best user experience. On the Messages tab, the default is inbox, but the best of view is all messages which cannot be set as the default. Finally, there is no support for passkeys and login credentials rely on outdated usernames and passwords.
Features not perfect
This app was recommended and have been using it awhile and it’s fine but it’s not as intuitive as it could be. For example a way to see requested schedule updates that need review/approval, or newly added events, without scrolling through calendars and trying to find where the update was made would be nice.
New Layout
The new layout is terrible!
Good program but need more repeat options. By weeks of month, like 1st week and 3rd week.
My schedule is 1st weekend and 3rd weekends of month. Then every month that has a 5 weekend we alternate visits. I have to manually put in every month. Please add this option and it will help greatly. I want to keep using this app but I’ll need to get a different app if this can’t be added. Please add this and I’ll change to 5 star review.
Good app. Could use minor tweaks
Good app for communication. The payment tracking side of things could use some minor tweaking. Once you submit something for payment you should be able to edit it. Either the name of the expense or the amount.
App still buggy, bad back end support and no dark mode
The app after 10 years doesn’t have dark mode, if you want to pay your ex using OFWpay then forget it since the setup process sucks and the back end support for the app is quite bad slow and missing detail. It’s more hype, lobbying in courts to mandate this app and hence complacent staff is stiff sitting there on their bums.
Direct print feature in app
Please add the ability to print messages in the app. The fact this only exists via the desktop version is really frustrating.
Good for what is needed
It’s effective for its purpose. It simplifies organizing everything. I’d change it to allow connecting the personal calendar as well as just using the calendar feature in general, without sharing it with the other parent if you choose not to share that feature. Also, to make it easier to view expense reports in various ways with different criteria.

Accountability
The app is useful as a courts approved repository for communication between separated parties. Th e messaging could be better integrated with stacked threads rather than having sent and received messages in different folders and each message appearing as a standalone item. But, if you have an ex-partner who has no concept of accountability, having the messages and being able to audit sent and viewed times is invaluable. It can’t make your ex rational or reasonable, but it can demonstrate how irrational and unreasonable she is to the court.
It’s fine
It works but I can’t print off all messages in a conversation in consecutive order (it’s all reverse order, and if he responds twice to the same message then I have to pick which response I’m printing on that thread), so they are really difficult to read for court related

Problems
I would give a better review but today I have had some issues with the app. There is no sign out button that I can see or even find, as this would help me considerably as I sometimes I need to get into the app multiple times a day. Otherwise if you sent me this rating on a better day it would be better response. Thanks.
Clunky
The app could be so much better. It’s difficult to navigate. You would have thought the developers could learn from the Google user interface (or Apple) to make things easier and more intuitive. Synchronisation to a Google/Microsoft calendar would be hugely beneficial (this can be done in secure ways) as most people don’t manage their entire lives in this app.
Freezes
The app freezes and disconnects a lot more than it should and for the price of the app.
Far better than TalkingParents
Much better than TalkingParents. More intuitive easier to track and only a single platform. TalkingParents advertises free but isn’t. It’s a pre-30 day trial only..
Don’t renewal subscription
Do not bother renewing subscription, they will not refund it once you renewal it. I just lost money for an app that I’m not even using.

For the expense function there is on possibility to say 100% for other parents expences
Limited ability to download force manual tracking
Unfortunately this APP does not allow you to download all of the expenses. So preparing for court or arbitration is very difficult, requiring to manually create a list of expenses and manually tracking what has been paid and what has not. This is very difficult and an upgrade needs to be made.

Calendar doesn’t work right and doesn’t save things.

SOCIAL MEDIAL PROFILE CONNECTION
THIRD PARTY VIOLATIONS The capability of the other party to use a social media profile such as Twitter and being able to add the other parents information without their consent is a glitch in this app which should be fixed. I have reported the many instances of negligence this app allows to take place with customer support. My information was added by the other parent to the address book and my information was compromised. This app allowed the other parent to gain access to my private photos as well. A complaint has been put in with evidence to show and to date there has been no action to change this.
OFW CALENDAR
The calendar sucks. Too binary. Why can’t they make it like Apple / Google calendar?!?!
Resets credentials
Please please please stop resetting my credentials! The app is not functional when my password resets randomly and I need to go into my notes to find my ridiculous username. Please leave it alone. It adds frustration to an already frustrating interaction.

The APP SUGGESTIONS!?!
Let’s talk about it. The app uses suggestions as another way to keep the messages positive however, if the other parent that is negative, doesn’t use suggestions, the messages that they type will go through regardless if they are negative disrespectful or even if it’s threats. The app needs to restrict and block those type of messages from being sent. This app could be better with those types of restrictions.
Not User Friendly, Poor customer service.
The app is all over the map. It is confusing, it takes ten minutes to schedule an event or change a date. Messages aren’t sent/received in chronological order. I reached out for a refund and was denied. Don’t waste your time on this app. TimeTree is a free app that is MUCH more efficient.
More like email
I’m glad this app exists because my spouse was impossible to have a respectful adult conversation with. That being said, it’s not great about always sending notifications. It’s confusing because the organization is similar to email more than texting.
Notifications not working
I cant see notification at all and need to go to app messages to see them due to which I’m unable to reach messages on time which is the ultimate goal of this app
Hellscape
Stay away at all costs and DO NOT allow anyone to force you into using this platform. It has been the absolute bane of my existence and been the primary cause for conflict in co-parenting. It allows for harassment and manipulation in a closed door setting so that one party can feel safe enough to incessantly message and change schedules on the other party. Stay away at all costs.

Don’t see sent messages until someone responds. Should be more like an email string.
Thumbnail
See above title , Thumb nail in video calls. It would be nice to be able to move the thumbnail pic around in video calls. It’s always blocking the view.
