I love this app!
I could not live without this calendar! I’ve never paid for optional services provided so I don’t believe there is a charge to use the basic functions but I’ve used this app for years. It is awesome how you can color code your events and set reminders so you don’t forget what is going on and be able to look and see what you have planned before making appointments or commitments. I prefer this app over the system app provided on the iPhone.
Everything is gone
I recently lost everything on my calendar. I’ve never had this problem or any problems with this app. Tried to reach out to the email they provide and it is not a working email anymore. This is completely devastating to me- I use this for business and for personal use. And I’ve now lost SO much.

Nice and clean calendar. Unfortunately, you can’t delete Apple’s questionable “holidays”.
Great Until It Deleted Everything
I’ve been using this app for nearly 10 years and loved it! Then I woke up to having all of my calendars completely blank
Used to be great
I have used this app for years and it’s been great. Then all of the sudden it won’t let me update any events and says denied access. I have had to start using a new calendar now due to this. I tried to contact support but my email was rejected.

Great Calendar app!
Everything works great except now I can’t move an individual calendar event that is part of a recurring event! Please fix that!!
Lost data- unretrievable
I have been using ICalendar for over a decade. A couple times my data entries on the calendar have been lost for no reason but retrievable. More recently all my data entries were lost again for no reason. I troubleshooted as recommended ensuring to follow all the steps and then uninstalled and reinstalled the app but all my entries past and present are gone and not retrievable. Support only recommended the steps on the FAQ to fix the problem But no other personalized help. I would recommend using another app for your data.

Sync with skylight calendar!
Love this calendar but wish it synced with the skylight calendar- like so many other popular apps do.
Suddenly blank and can’t restore
I’ve used this app for years and loved it. Three days ago I lost all of my data, events future and past. I’ve tried everything and can’t restore.
Widget not very versatile
I find the widgets to be not very useful when you’re looking at a weekly. for example I have two appointments on the ninth which is part of the week that is showing, but it’s only showing me one appointment when I click on the widget to open the calendar. It shows me both appointments so not very helpful.
Love the color coding
I’ve used this app for years and love it!! I love that I can color code my events! I can link other calendars to automatically show up in this app (like our fave college basketball team’s schedule).
Terrible
I loved this app for the longest time. I loved how organized it was and how well it showed all my upcoming dates. One day I opened my app and everything was erased. I emailed their “support” email that they said responds to every email but they never responded. I have emailed 3 times!!!! And then I put all my dates in again and they got erased 2 days later… I am furious.
Overall all I love it except for a minor bug….
My favorite part is the month view with my text entries on each individual day rather than dots -like most other calendar apps have. The only issue I have had with it since day 1 (i’ve used it for 4 years) is if I enter a time in the form of text in the title of an event it never shows up. I can ONLY get it to show up if I go back into the event and select “edit” and enter the time text AGAIN. Example: Dr visit at 1:00pm. I have to enter “1:00pm” AGAIN.
Decent
Really liked this app for last few years. Little by little the app has glitches that have made me not totally go electric ever. Not sure if this is an Apple issue or app issue. Data I entered has disappeared not the first time this has happened on iphone but not on iPad. Subscription ends February 2026 even though it only $2 I won’t renew. I’ll stick to carrying a paper planner. I can’t risk it working third shift I rely on planners.
Not bad
I would like to be able to click on it and it open directly to month view. I use calendar for work immensely and that would be great. Opening to day view is pointless. I shear know what’s going today. If not I’d be in trouble. But that’s just me. People say there is a way but none of the “tricks” work. But mostly it’s good. There are things I wish I could change to fit my needs but there us no app out there that does exactly what you need. So I’ll just settle. I have no options anyway lol

Can’t change recurring events
I’ve used this app for years for scheduling appointments for customers and reminders for monthly bills. Never had any issue until about a week or so ago. Suddenly I can’t change recurring events like payments due, to reflect it’s been paid. Support doesn’t respond, gonna have to find something else that works better. Disappointing!
Stopped Syncing dates
I’ve used the app for at least 5 years and have never had a problem until recently. When adding new dates to the calendar more than a month away, it randomly resets the spinner to March 1st. You have to spin forward or backwards 18mo by single day to find the day that matches your selected date. What happened? This used to be the BEST app! I love that you can set it to ring an alarm 2min ahead of your next event and then again on the actual time. That is crucial in my line of work and the main reason I don’t use Apple or Google calendar as a main system.

Can’t Update recurring events
I was able to update any & all events on my calendar until about a month ago. Not sure what happened. Color codes are no longer the color I set them to.

I love love love this app and have been using it for YEARS! I love how seamlessly it syncs with my many google calendars. The one issue I have always had is when I add an all-day event from my iPhone, it shows as a two-day event. I always have to go to my google calendar on my laptop to change the date to only one day. A long time ago, I reached out to support and they had me try lots of things (turn off/on, delete app/reinstall, etc.) but nothing worked. It’s definitely a bug because it has happened through many years and many different phones. 🤷🏼♀️
Really annoyed
I used to LOVE this app!! I recommend it to soo many people!! Unfortunately the whole thing got scrambled after the last update! None of my temples were working so I had to create new ones. All the monthly and yearly events I had as repeats are all in the same color so my whole calendar is purple. I am really big on color coding so this really annoys me. I have to go in manually to change all the event colors one by one. It’s not time efficient. And when I use the “all day” button it marks it as 2 days on my calendar. I have tried for a while to adjust to this but idk how much longer I’m gonna be able to tolerate it. I want it to go back to when I loved it!!!
Love this app, but needs some updates.
I’ve been using this app for years. We are a super busy family and for me it works great bc I can cook code different things, However I’ve been waiting and waiting for this app to be a family shared app so my husband isn’t always asking me about appts or games or this or that. There are other apps out there that have the capability for people to add things to the calendar, add a grocery list and so on. I’d love for this to become an option. I’m currently looking at a way to transfer all my information into a new calendar app that is sharable with my family members, and I hate that bc I do really enjoy this one.
Location issues
The one issue with the app is it incorrectly changing the title of the event based on what’s put into the location field

Loves and wishes for this app!
I have used this app for years and have tried several others but I keep coming back to this one. Things I love about it: - as a visual person the fact I can choose any colour for events, create colours, and save favourite colours is a huge win in my book - it syncs my with my husbands calendar and my work calendar, thus creating an easy to use family calendar - I can set repeating events (daily, weekly, annually, etc) easily - the customization from the day the week starts on, dimming last events, setting event templates (great when I was on shift work), themes, etc. - NOT having a monthly fee - can be exported to PDF I wish: - that I could tag my custom colours so I remember which colour I use for what (eg. doctor, vet, vacation, etc) - the alert wouldn't be automatically added after I create an event (I have removed it off the default template and it always adds itself once I create the event. Though when I go back and edit it, I can remove it)
Lost all appointments!
So upset!! I Used to love it but with the recent Apple update all my appointments and history dissapeared!!! Hope there’s a fix to restore it??
Bug not fixed
When sharing invite monthly view gets changed to a day out, ie Saturday 17 June becomes 16 June. Daily, weekly and yearly are unaffected.
Where are the updates?
The last time the app was updated was 8 months ago. I’ve been using this app for a very long time and would like to continue using it. Please update.
Suddenly lost all of my info
This had been a pretty good app and I had used it for years. Then suddenly all of my calendar info is gone from years past and future dates/reminders. Contacted support multiple times and only got one generic/unhelpful response in over 3 weeks. I’ll go back to the iPhone calendar and hope it’s better than it used to be. Use at your own risk
Almost Perfect
I have been using iCalendar for several years now. I love the ability to customize event colors. I also love the flexibility and ease of use. There are 2 additions, I would love to see 1) being able to change the color of events/invites that are set by others people. This will make it so much easier to discern the different events. 2) having more theme options
Downhill
This has been such a great app over the last few years. Suddenly, without other phone changes, the app comes up blank. No data. All of my schedules are gone. Utterly blank. I can’t understand it.
Dislike
I don’t like the fact that I can’t remove some Holidays/notifications that automatically appear.
iOS 17 changes
I use this app to keep track of my library holds using the event template function extensively. iOS 17 requires that you give this app permission to use the Apple calendars. When I upgraded to 17 and opened this app it was blank. OMG - what happened to all my library data? Well, Google to the rescue. Now it's fixed.
Glitches
When consumers pay their money for products, the expectation is decent functionality. No one pays for headaches especially when time is money and being on time is respect. I do not expect a product to drop and go back to the phone desktop!

I used this app for 2-3 years not bad but now they auto assign Day / phone number and address really cause me a lot of trouble Today December 21 2017 I type “Lunch at golden mark” at 1pm the calendar auto assign the golden to Location then the calendar look like this “Lunch at mark”. Golden mark is the full name of the restaurant can you show me how to stop this auto action. Pls advise

Great app
Love this app but since it would start to erase the time on the colour display ... I find myself getting very irritated when I have to click each day to see the details. Then have to re-enter the time in my title a couple times for it to stay. Also would like to be able to change minimum amount of hours or each event again.
Was my fav calendar app
I’ve been using this app for so many years. No matter which one I tried to compare this was still my go-to, mainly because it automatically brought in my reminders which I use a lot, plus the ability to use various colours to sort & seeing that full week on 1 screen “with reminders” to get full picture of my weeks. Also I’ve had to contact help desk before & they did reply assisting me which was appreciated. Now suddenly they want money to bring in the reminders??? Now you’re like the many other apps that I tested & found useless. Sad it’s come to this. I feel lost. It was my fav! 💔
