Easy Calendar reviews
4.7 out of 5, based on 29,375 reviews.
What people like
- Beautiful and easy to read layout
- Highly customizable to your needs
- Great week view option
- Better than the default calendar
What they complain about
- Subscription model locks simple features
- Reminders require a separate app
- Support never responds to emails
- App slows down over time
Simple and effective
This really should be a standard view on all calendar apps. This works to fill in the gaps well
Dag
Widget problems
Love the app but when I try to use a widget half of it is covered with a white box
awesome
love this app
Data kwijt

Can’t edit!!
Help. Keep getting access denied when I try and edit a calendar entry!!!
Notes & free option
Something has changed in notes as up to the 8th Jan 26 I was abled to to put my blood pressure figures in notes on my dialysis days on the 10th jan 26 I couldn’t do this as it was just giving me two options to upgrade with a charge for both. Has the free version been changed as no longer an option
Easy
This calendar is easy to use and easy to read.
Reminders please
Love this app. I've tried many calendar apps over the years but this has remained my firm favourite. The week to page view just works for me. However, one request.... Please incorporate the ability to display reminders alongside appointments. I realise you have a separate app to display reminders but that's just a waste of time and space. It makes sense to be able to display them together. This isn't a cost issue, I'd happily pay for your other app if I could display the info together in the one app.
Integration is poor
Loved this calendar app for years but occasionally when you subscribe to a calendar it won’t show in the app to be able to check it so it appears. Incredibly frustrating because the appearance of the app is the best calendar app around.
Calendar
Please have Sunday the first day of the week. Also, love the way you can resize the column
Reminders load quickly
Thanks for the fix. However now it shows all of my completed recurring reminders that have end dates as though they are still active. Whatever caching system you are using needs to check for that.
Greedy developer.
They switched to a subscription model. So, simple features like showing the end time of appointments is now locked behind a subscription. I bought and own the app but refuse to use it any longer now that I know I won’t get new features unless I subscribe. Uninstalled.
Useful
Happy to have this app on my phone
Abbreviated time update - needless and confusing
The latest update changed “am” to “a” and “pm” to “p”. To make it worse, 6.00pm now reads 6p. WHAT?! Did it even occur to the developers that neurodiverse or dyslexic people might use the app? 6p = 6 pence, NOT 6 o’clock at night. 1a is the first item in a document, before 1b, not 1 o’clock in the morning. I get the want of more space, but the abbreviations also need to make sense at a glance. Please change it back, this is just confusing.
Easy Calendar
Wish it had more colour coding
Easy calendar
Easy to use
Werkt niet met android
Werkt geweldig met ios. Helaas niet met android.
Easy and perfect. Integrates across all of my devices.
Exactly what I needed.
Good app overall
Good app overall, but I used to be able to add other participants to appt - that functionality was taken away few years ago which makes entering an appt a bit more cumbersome
Brilliant
A great app that I used to use every day BUT since finding Solid Calendar I just wish Easy Calendar had the day and date on the App icon instead of the badge app icon! I now find myself using Solid Calendar more often as i prefer it on my home screen with the day and date easily visible.
Get it, use it, enjoy it
If there is beauty in simplicity, Easy Calendar scores an 11 out of 10. The latest version of Easy Calendar brings Apple Reminders into the offering making for a complete calendar and todo app. This app is so pleasing to the eye and beyond a pleasure to use. User customization features are offered as well. There is also an option for including daily weather information should you wish. Use Easy Calendar or settle for less. It’s up to you. Highly recommended.
one issue that bothers me
i absolutely love this app more than the apple calendar but my only complaint is i wish that it would also highlight single day events like it does for multiple days :-( that is the only thing i wish could be fixed or someone tell me how to do it lol
Ok app
This Calendar works fine but after a while it becomes slow and you have to close the app and restart, otherwise it’ll function too slow..
So wanted to give this five stars
But I can’t. Why oh why oh why do you need two separate but basically identical apps to support reminders and a calendar? Why not incorporate reminders within the calendar, as Fantastical does? And no support for Google calendar either :-(
Easy To Use
I’ve used this calendar for several years. I love it.
No response
Contacted you several times no response. Customers dont seem to be too important. There are calendars that do not show up on the app and no easy place to find directions on how to add.
My favourite calendar app with one small flaw
I love this app as it’s the easiest to view and use that I have tried. My only criticism is it seems to lag when it’s been open a few days and I have to close and restart it. Despite this it’s still the one I use.
Reminders don’t work?
I love the layout of this calendar app but the whole point of it is to remind me when I have a meeting. It doesn’t remind me on my phone it just tells me on my Macbook. Not ideal. Please do let me know if this is fixable myself.
Good BUT…
Only uses Apple Maps which is frustrating since most people use google maps. STILL after SO many years there is no way to add an email alert on google cal entries. Every other calandar app has this. What ever could be the problem here I wonder.
Best
We live by this calendar and it has a much better layout than the native Apple calendar. Easy to customize to make it work for you.
Customer support poor
Reached out by email several times to get a problem resolved no response app is good and would have continued to use it. Not may updated so getting a little dated
Great
Great calendar, I’m really pleased I found it. Only problem is that the alerts don’t sound or show on my iPad or iPhone. Would have rated 5 stars if it wasn’t for the alerts
Compares poorly with competitors
I deleted it immediately after working out how it works. Its layouts are limited and clumsy compares to what Week Calendar or Calendars by Readdle offer.
Good but more would be better
A good app - needs to be better with more bells and whistles. Like it
Birthday’s
I would like to be able to delete peoples Birthday’s
Gradually losing functions
No longer able to send calendar invites, now it only synchs one way with Google calendar so not updating Google calendar which I still need to send calendar invites. Used to be a great app and I like week view but now just more trouble than it’s worth.
Easy calendar
The “ repeat” system doesn’t work and also having trouble with “saving” anything. This is a shame as other aspects seem ok.
Okay
A bit disappointed after all the reviews. I was looking for a calendar to replace the one that came with the phone. This only does half the job then sends me back into the native app for 'more' options. It is clean looking which is nice and easy to read events once scheduled but probably not the right app for me.
The BEST
This is the absolute best digital calendar app! It allows for great amount of customization. The only thing that is missing for me is ability to have sound with the calendar alerts. That, for me, would make it perfection!
Sync
Only thing I don't like is my iPhone and iPad with this app don't sync otherwise love it for everything else.
easy calendar
great, easy to use, would love if entering the alarm is more readily accessible instead of going to 'more' but still it's an excellent app, highly recommended
Colour coding options as improvement
Overall pretty happy, but would like more colour coding options and to be able to put a finishing time for an event.
