Ik had een probleem met de app en een email gestuurd. Nog altijd geen reactie! Ik denk dat het allemaal niet meer geüpdatet wordt. En dat het stilligt.
Home screen badges
I love the app. It’s exactly what I was looking for, but it would be nice if we could have badges numbers on the home screen for the days we have events.
Looks good, but buggy
No option to set # of viewable lines per entry. Sometimes you see 2 or 3 lines, other times just 1. No rhyme or reason. Not being able to see the full 2 line title in week view is a deal-breaker, so now looking for a replacement. The average app allows the full week view; hence, 2 stars here for below average.

I love looking at my week at a glance. I love getting to use emojis to color up my schedule. I have bought it for both my kids!! Simple and perfect for regular organization.
Non functional only looks good
Month view and doesn’t show you any information and details about your events. Just shows a dot. Looks good but non functional. You need to see your schedule and events at a glance not week by week. Overpriced for no features
Tiny font on widgets
The app is altogether stunning bar one exception. When using a widget the font size is WAY too small. It is unusable for those who don’t want to squint. This one oversight prevents a 5 star review. I will update my review if it is addressed.

2 out of 3 widgets aren’t working
08/12/25 in addition to below - both day view widgets are not picking up theme changes in your app. I had set white theme for a while and all 3 widgets were white, then, a few days ago, I changed theme in your app to one of the dark ones. The week view widget immediately changed to the dark, but both medium size and small widgets did not change and are still white. It’s been like this for a week. ************ You advertise your app with screenshots of widgets for iPhone and iPad, but 2 out of 3 widgets your app offers are not working. Only week’s view is loading on iPhone and iPad, but day views (middle size and small size widgets) aren’t. On iPhone they sometimes load and most of the time just empty squares displaying. On iPad they never load. You should either remove those from your app advertisement or fix the issue. Don’t confuse people into thinking that all 3 types of widgets are available.

The only thing I would like to see is to be able to check off the things on my list that I have completed. Otherwise, this app is a true lifesaver for my schedule. Just like a paper calendar but “smaller” and very accessible!
Unresponsive Developer
Be careful about paying for this… I bought this and the developer’s other app but was promptly ignored when I emailed him.
Awesome calendar
Just one problem…My home calendar on the agenda setting only shows one event, I have to open to show all events… just started doing this I had no previous problems showing all events…What’s the fix…

Werkt prettig
Fijne agenda. Maar misschien kan een optie “Reistijd” toegevoegd? Zodat er meldingen komen wanneer je moet vertrekken (auto, fiets, lopen en OV) om op tijd op je afspraak te komen.
I LOVE this calendar because I can also use it like a planner/to-do list.
This calendar is great! It lets me see the whole week in one view like a paper planner which is what I am used to. I love the day view too! its gives you the start & end times of your events, unlike Apple's time block view calendar when used on iphone. However, I wish the developers would add the following features in the near future: #1 - I would like to see Events that have already ended have a strike through line automatically drawn. I still use a paper planner for the day because I need to visually see what's left in my day by drawing a line through the event, so if I had PaperCal do this automatically I could switch to a totally online calendar system. I realise that some people might like the calendar the way it is so maybe this could be a toggle switch in settings. #2 - While the tasks feature is a great addition, (I love the strike through feature on that with the check box circle) I would love to be able to import a copy of my tasks from other task managment apps like Apple Reminders and Things 3. This way I could schedule these tasks into my day without having to retype them daily. #3 - Lastly, I would like the option to keep the calendar's last view. As I stated before, I use the day view the most through out my day but the calendar defaults to week view when you open it. maybe add this as a toggle switch in settings? Other than that, This is probably one of the best paper-like calendars out there that also acts like a paper planner. You should totally buy this app!!

Almost my favourite calendar
I love Paper Cal as far as the app itself goes. Easy 5 stars. I just have a problem with the widget. The daynames react to the system font-size settings in Accessibility. The events themselves however are still displayed in the tiniest font-size possible and next to unreadeable to me. (iPad Pro, iOS 17) Please make those events also refer to the system font-size and I will be perfectly happy.
Deelt vaak niet
Afspraken deelt hij vaak niet met familieleden. Of pas uren later.
Large widget broken
With the large widget (week) the date does not update. I installed the app and small and large widget on a Monday, Oct 4th. Two days later the large widget still had Monday the 4th as the highlighted date. The app and small widget each updated as they should. An otherwise great looking calendar app. Still, I have uninstalled the app since I need the large widget. Please fix the issue. Previous review: As pointed out by another reviewer, the notification feature of the app does not work. This is a serious bug and needs to be fixed. Old review: I really wanted to like this app, but when adding/editing events the app frequently would freeze. It then becomes necessary to close the app and launch anew. This is beyond a little annoying, and hence the low rating. I uninstalled the app and the reinstalled it, hoping that this would help. Alas, it did not. Adding events and editing them is a fundamental requirement of a calendar app. Too bad, I really did want to like this app.

Perfect with one request
I like this app, functional & easy to navigate. My request is to make the app able to function without having to connect a calendar or email to it. I don’t want the tasks I put on this app showing up and cluttering my Google calendar. I was hoping to use this app for meal schedule, workout schedule, daily misc chores and tasks, separate from my events schedule in Google which is shared with my family. Is this possible?? Thanks!
Waarom niet de HANDIGE DINGEN van Weekkalender
Wat spijtig! Geen swipen met 2 en 3 vingers, zodat je een maand/jasr verder gaat in je agenda. Ook niet de handige terug naar Vandaag. Agenda voor niets aangeschaft!
Ruimte voor verbetering
Ziet er erg mooi uit. Dagen zijn groot genoeg top dat je taken kan integreren in je dag plannen. Jammer dat je niet kan zoeken in de agenda en dat de agenda zelf geen herinneringen geeft van afspraken en taken.

toch meldingen, terwijl die uitstaan
Ik hou van deze app ♥️ maar ik geef toch even één ster om een probleempje aan te kaarten. Bij mijn standaardinstellingen staat ingesteld dat ik geen meldingen wil krijgen. Maar wanneer ik een nieuwe afspraak aanmaak, wordt er tóch telkens een melding aangemaakt en daar word ik knettergek van. Hopelijk fixen jullie dit. Dank!
No notification support
Would be 5 stars if notifications worked. It lets you add reminders (as if it works- then those deadlines pass without alerting you). But there is no actual notification support. I’ve looked under iOS settings and it isn’t even listen under Notifications as an option to turn on. Otherwise brilliant display of events and tasks but please add notifications
Synced niet goed helaas
Heel goed idee deze app, de taken functie is echt top. alleen laatste tijd syncy hij niet goed meer , staat bijv. In de widget op mijn home screen dat het nog gisteren is en soms pakt hij nieuwe afspraken uit een andere calendar niet goed op. Calendar app moet wel betrouwbaar zijn. Dus 2 sterren, ik ga helaas wisselen want deze bug is er al erg lang.

Family sharing doesnt work
I like this calendar, but it states up to 6 family members can share the app-but there is no switch to turn on family sharing, it still asks for payment. Falsr advertising!
Still prefer the original
I like it but I prefer the original because in timed events there a view in the day view that shows you conflicting appointment at that is not in this new version. Thanks.
Fout na update
Super fijne app maar na de laatste update kan ik geen personen meer toevoegen/uitnodigen voor een agendapunt. Dit is heel jammer want wij gebruikte deze functie als familieplanner. Dit is nu niet meer mogelijk. Graag oplossen!
Don’t like the type size
On the prior program I could read every entry in week view. On this new version I have to go to day view to see the entire entry. Please allow a lower type setting so I can read entries in the week view
Can’t invite attendees
Love the app and the concept. The invite attends has not always worked well but now when I try it crashes the app. I would have messaged the creator directly but I could not find contact info.

Nearly perfect
This is nearly perfect! I love this calendar already! It would completely replace my other calendar widget, if the icon would read the date rather than show the logo.
Time override not working
It is a nice app and it would deserve 5 stars. But it does not offer the time override function which I think is a big drawback. It seems some other third party apps can do this so it does not appear proprietary to Apple apps only.
Sync with Outlook
I cannot get this app to synchronize with the outlook calendar nor can I find support. The app itself looks great. I would be happy to pay if I could get the sync to work.

No Details on Month View???
I really wanted to love it. Does what it says, but the pictures above don’t show you everything. Why no details on the iPad month view, just dots???? That is terrible design. That is the one most important view for me, sorry i wasted 2.99.
Nice … Couple of Quirks
Very nice calendar app, basic but enough. Two negatives of note: the right side of the “yearly view” is cut off (yearly view is not centered). As a result, many date numbers are not visible. This appears to be a problem only on my iPhone 12 Pro as the view is perfectly centered on my iPad and my wife’s iPhone 11. The other issue is contained in the “monthly view.” Not all the days of the month shown have dates or numbers associated with each day. The view contains some date numbers but substitutes “dots or periods” for roughly half the days of the month. Again, this is only on my iPhone and my wife’s. Not sure why the Developer took this route as there is room for the numbers to displayed. Since I use my calendar many times a day on my iPhone, I hope these issues (for me at least) can be addressed quickly.
Love this but info not showing up on my iPad
Hi, I think I need app support. Everything is showing on my phone. I love the way it imports from my gmail and everything but none of my meetings or tasks are showing on my iPad. Is there a trick?
Won’t let me add widgets?
The whole reason I purchased this was to utilize the widget as a weekly onscreen planner, but I’m not seeing widget as an option... any ideas? :(
Beautiful but two edits would be nice
It is a beautiful calendar that just needs two small edits to give it 5 stars: 1. A few more highlight colors would be welcome to distinguish more calendar topics. 2. A few more backgrounds would be really great. Thank you so much for fixing the month’s view with events not dots on calendar. ❤️
Good Concept But Freezes Up
The difference between calendar events and tasks is very helpful. However, The app freezes up every single time I try to add a location to my task. It says I don’t have location access enabled when I checked my settings and I have indeed allowed the app access. I end up having to close out the app and restart it only to find the problem is not solved by any of the previous actions I took before to troubleshoot it. Once the glitches get ironed out, I’d be interested in using this calendar app.
Widget is not updated
Widget is bot updated(refreshed) when date has changed. I placed widget on 21, Feb. On 22, Feb, widget still displays 21st.
