I hope you will add a notes feature with the ability to attach images, videos, and audio to projects, as I rely on it very heavily.
App is suddenly crashing upon opening
I’ve used Due for YEARS & love it. Until today. Every time I open the app it crashes upon opening. Yes, my app is updated.
REALLY Needs Notes, Pre-Alarms and Live Activities for timers.
The Alarmed app stopped working for me and this would be a great upgrade if it allowed you to add notes to a reminder to keep track of things. My workaround has been to use a super long title. Also, pre-alarms would be very useful as well. Both Alarmed and Apple Reminders allow pre-alarms. FEATURE REQUEST: Allow timers to show on lock screen via Live Activities.
Constant “stuck” reminders on iPad
It used to be a good app, but it’s broken now.
Using for a decade
This app is great, not just for reminders but also on old logged reminders. I know what I was doing from 2012, every day with all the issues that you don’t need to remember at the time but can be extremely handy in hindsight.
Incredible-Genuinely life changing
Perfect to implement GTD and externalize and capture quick thoughts to clarify/act on later. Frees up a lot of mental load knowing I’ll be reminded shortly and can quickly snooze with the preset adjustments. Actually makes me move faster and more efficient knowing I don’t have to worry about forgetting things or my million ideas through the day. Areas of consideration include: searchable tags with “#” that auto sort ie groceries or contexts like “@grocerystore”, better shortcut implementation, a floating add due button on the bottom right so I don’t have to reach to the top right corner or a gesture to quickly go into the new task wizard/window (edit. Swiping down works great to add new)
Doesn't work

Great app, sync needs work.
I’ve been using this app daily for years and I love it, but syncing between devices isn’t great when items are marked done. It’s too bad because that’s really this apps only flaw. It’s annoying to mark something finished on an iPad and have it keep reminding me on my iPhone and vice versa.
Unusable with Apple Watch
Love the app on the iPhone but incredibly annoying to use with Apple Watch. If you have stacked reminders (say 5 reminders at 9 AM), the expected behavior is for Apple Watch to buzz you once and say “5 notifications on Due.” It doesn’t. It buzzes you, 5 separate times. Even more annoying is that the app waits about 5-10 seconds between each buzz, so 5 notifications mean you get buzzed every 5-10 seconds for nearly a minute at every reminder or snooze period. I’ve contacted Due support who suggested some setting changes to minimize this behavior, but ultimately said, “it’s Apple’s system, we can’t do anything about it.” I had 14-25 notifications throughout the day. This means none stop buzzing all day. You can’t stop it either. You can’t push a button to stop. Even taking the watch off your wrist, it will continue through the notification cycle and you just have to wait if you don’t want to be buzzed constantly. Some days, it uses stacked notifications while other days, for no apparent reason, the app will bother you to death. If you’re an Apple Watch user, try a different app.
Lost prominent reminders I already paid for with previous sub
If I get to keep everything I’ve already previously paid for why am I suddenly no longer able to set prominent reminders and it tells me I have to have a subscription? I could understand if you had to remove prominent reminders from everybody for some weird safety reason or something, but obviously the feature still exists. You seem to have modified it in some way that meets your definition of I have to pay to get it. that will not be happening
Priceless
This is an app I use every day to keep track of things that need to get done but don't have a specific deadline. Gladly paid for the new functionality.
Not good
I have do on my iPad and my iPhone and they don’t sync. Be careful about your purchase.
Really helpful but needs improvements
The app is really wonderful in a lot of ways. It definitely has helped my inattentive ADHD brain prioritize the normal daily tasks I usually forget. The interface is not very pretty or intuitive, and the biggest downfall is you cannot schedule times by 1 minute increments. Fix that and it’s near perfect.

Can’t make reminders every hour!
Of course I could use a clock chime on my watch, but I want it to be such that it repeats unless acknowledged. Due can’t do this.

I’m updating my review to reflect that I learned a great deal about how much more depth and richness there is to this app then I knew; strongly recommend watching the short introductory video. This app really demonstrates how the right UI design can lead to outstanding performance and satisfaction.
Greedy Dev Look Elsewhre
Charging an extra $4.99 a year for something I already purchased is insane. This app can be recreated in a couple of days. Only a fool would give money to this leech.
A great app with greater potential!
Love this app! It’s helped a lot with my accountability. With everything I tried before, if I couldn’t do it the second the alarm or reminder went off, I’d immediately forget it. The persistent reminders help immensely. I’d rate 5 but there’s room to grow. Timers are kind of limited. I’d like to be able to associate a timer with a task. So so long as that timer is running, it won’t ding. Think about a task called laundry. You don’t need to make and then snooze 3, you just have a snooze timer while it washes and another while it dries. A snooze all option timer would be nice too! Another feature I’d like to see is task steps. Like steps for washing drying and folding laundry but the dry step won’t go off until wash is marked done. All in all, it’s a great app with a lot of potential and well worth the price!
Watch app is terrible
This review is mainly for the Watch app. It is so reliant on the phone you cannot even add a new reminder. Nagging alarms don’t work without the phone. I don’t always have my phone with me so the app becomes useless. It’s a real shame because the Apple Watch desperately needs a nagging reminder app that doesn’t require the phone.

This has less functionality that the stock Reminders App. I was hoping for more. Don’t buy it.
I use it all the time. Every day.
I use this program to keep track of due dates for hundreds of items. I just wish it had an item count on each separator bar as to how many items follow it. I found it when I was searching for Timetap which regretfully has disappeared from the app store. Thanks.
Background sync.
Always great app, but recently there is a growing problem with a background sync. With the latest release background sync is broken.
Logging is pretty weak
This is definitely my go to app if I need to be constantly reminded to do something. What would be great is if the logging feature was useful for any practical purpose. I’d definitely prioritize that over widgets.
Canning survive ADD without it!
Just simply the best. Simp,e yet elegantly personalizes. The ability to set your own speed snooze buttons is hands down best feature. Paid version worth it if you’re very distractable or use multiple devices daily.

Great app, wish it synced
Great app, works exactly as needed. My only wish is that the developers would add a sync feature between the mobile app and the MacBook desktop app to keep everything updated across devices.
The most forgetful reminder app ever.
It’s will work fine for a few days or a week or so. Then it will just cease to do anything. When I you finally remember yourself the things you’ve forgotten and thought you were being reminded about, like putting out your wheelie bin. You load the app, it then shows what’s past. An hour later, it starts reminding you about things it forgot two weeks ago by why of notifications. Complete joke. 😂

Makes life easier
I strongly recommend this app to anyone who struggles with ADHD. This is the best way to be notified. I just need to be able to create tasks easily and straightforward and have them actually remind you every five minutes. This includes daily tasks once a week tasks once a month tasks and it’s perfect and it’s simple. Definitely worth a one time payment for what this app is able to help me do.
Need to pay premium for dark mode now
The devs decided that dark mode is a premium feature and now require you to pay for a subscription to use it. A bit of a cheap move, especially that I already paid for the app and had dark mode enabled for ages for free. Shame, because other than that the app is good.
Notes
The biggest omission in this app, is the inability to add a note. When I have an appointment, I always have a leave by time, to ensure I am not late. This is invaluable in planning ahead.
App doesn’t do what it says it does
The app is supposed to have persistent reminders, but no matter what I set, it will only remind me a maximum of 6 times. I’ve tried turning on auto snooze, 1 min reminders, critical alerts… nothing makes it remind me more than 6 times, so it defeats the point of using this app. I’m requesting a refund.

Due ist eine hilfreiche App. Ich benutze sie erst wenige Tage auf meinem iPhone. Nun wollte ich sie ebenfalls auf meinem iPad benutzen und meine Eintragungen synchronisieren. Dies ist jedoch nicht möglich, da die Funktion „Mit iCloud synchronisieren“ nicht hervorgehoben und anklickbar ist. Schade, diese Funktion würde manches vereinfachen. Wenn ich aber für jedes Gerät eine neue iCloud bräuchte, macht das Ganze irgendwie keinen Sinn. Es wäre schön, wenn diese Funktion angeglichen werden würde.
Reliable Nagging for Important Events
I’ve used this for more than 10 years. It’s a great app that I can rely on to not miss deadlines. I can set due dates years into the future, and this app has regular updates, and has just been getting better and better. ❤️
Should be called “Nag” not “Due”
I’ve used this app for at least 2 years now, and belatedly just realised I don’t just dislike this app, I despise it with every fibre of my being, so much so I have realised it is actually bad for my mental health. This app doesn’t remind you about stuff, it nags you and nags you and nags you until you want to scream! In the middle of a phone call? nag nag nag, obviously busy and not responding? nag nag nag. Pay “me attention” is its constant refrain, it like having a rude and badly behaved 4 yr old child in your pocket - permanently! I felt stressed every morning when my list of “nags” would start harassing me as soon as I woke up. If I had 2 nags go off at the same time I get double notifications simultaneously! Double nagging OMG! Even Apples restricted notifications don’t seem to be able to shut it up. I’ve actually thrown my phone at the wall because of its constant nagging. There is literally nothing positive I can find to say about this app, even the “Undo edit reminder” is stupidly placed so that pressing the screen off button “undoes” your changes with the palm of your hand without realising it. 1 minute later you get nagged about the same thing all over again! I finally realised yesterday, this app doesn’t help me get stuff done, it just stresses me out about everything I’ve not got around to today, and loads up trepidation about tomorrow. I would willing burn every byte that belongs to this app, sadly I will just have to make do with “delete”.

This is a great app although for future versions I would like to see a feature for reminders to be able to repeat itself even when a reminder is overdue.
Repeating Reminders - Good BUT Syncing between iPhone and Watch? Very Poor
I appreciate the reminders until checked off - Except checking them off on your Watch does nothing. Reminders just keep coming. I made the mistake of putting the app on my iPad as well. All I got was a 3-way problem with syncing. So much so that I deleted it on my iPad. Now what do I do - delete it from my iPhone too? For a paid app I expect much better. The excuse given in the Troubleshooting section claims it’s Apple’s method of syncing at fault. The thing is any reminders I have in Apple’s app has no such problem. Neither does my AnyList app (which isn’t by Apple). So?
Great but missing something
At least in my use case. I was hoping to be able to define duration time and a link between the timers and this duration. I also desperately search for an app that allow me to track time out in a task on a weekly basis.

I love my Due app and having it on my phone has saved me from forgetting many an event. Having got a new laptop I’d like to download it there too, but App Store is telling me I need to pay 14.99 for a new download? Is this correct? Thanks
Unreliable alerts
This is nicely designed app but it just doesn't work properly. Reminders keep sounding alerts even after you defer them for hours later. The Sound switch in its settings allows you to turn off sound alerts but it takes no effect on your existing reminders. So there is no way to stop alerts sounding other than to disable notifications in the iPhone or iPad Settings menu. The reminders deferral and sounds switch are both just not working, which makes this app annoying during meetings, appointments, or just early in the morning.
Dont show multiple separate notifications
A big annoyance is that if i have multiple reminders that fire at the same time, they get shown separately most of the time. That makes it extremely annoying, and not in a positive motivating way. Sometimes though i only get one summary notification that says i have 5 things to do now. But it’s unclear why most of the time its an annoying 5 notifications that say do this do that separately. Yes maybe I’m using the App for the wrong use case - as a habit reminder for things i need to do many times a day - but besides this annoyance (and having to enter 10 reminders for the same thing i want to do often in one day) it’s perfect for this.

Losing faith in this app. I’m continually having problems with the app making a sound and the banner appearing even when they are all turned on. So frustrating.
It’s better than the built in iPhone reminder app
I do like this app and as title says, it’s better than the built in iPhone reminder app. I like and hate how it keeps reminding me to do the thing but I do end up doing the thing which is my ultimate goal. What I find this app is missing and why I didn’t give it five stars is how it doesn’t provide you with an option to remind yourself 15min before the event. If there was an option to select drive or travel time - I feel it would help so many to plan for how long it takes to get to your appointment. Right now I have to include the time the appointment is in the title and set the timer for approx 30 min down to 15 minutes depending on the distance and weather. I would also like to be able to select some reminders to not be able to push to my smart watch. If say medication reminders can be pushed but the minor less urgent reminds don’t and just appear on my phone. That would be lovely. Thanks!
Frustrating with widgets
Wonderful app for $6.99. However you would expect to have a lifetime of updates. As soon as widgets came to iOS I was really looking forward to adding widgets... but nope it costs a monthly subscription.
Good except for some minor system issues
The app itself is a brilliant concept. I haven’t been able to find an app that repeatedly reminds you until you get it done. I like how easy it is to add a reminder also and the timers are a win so I can also track my time. Only issue is that the sound on the reminders only occasionally work when my phone is locked. I’ve followed the “Troubleshooting” advice on the app numerous times, I’ve ensured my phone is not silent, I’ve made sure both the app and phone is updated. But still the sound only works occasionally. This has meant that I’ve often not heard reminders and therefore missed them.
