Fonctionne, mais attention sur Volvo V40 (D2 2013)
Boîtier facile à connecter en Bluetooth et application claire. Cependant, sur ma Volvo V40 D2 de 2013, chaque utilisation (même une simple lecture de diagnostic) déclenche des faux messages d'erreur une fois le boîtier débranché : jauge à carburant bloquée sur "vide" alors que le réservoir est plein, et véhicule qui ne se met plus en veille normalement (pas de coupe-circuit). Le seul moyen de remettre la voiture dans un état normal est de débrancher/rebrancher la batterie à chaque fois, ce qui n'est pas pratique. J'ai vu d'autres utilisateurs de V40 rencontrer le même type de souci sur leur forum communautaire (erreurs ABS, airbag, ceintures, etc. après utilisation du boîtier), donc ça semble être un problème connu sur ce modèle plutôt qu'un cas isolé. Dommage, car le reste de l'appli est bien pensée. J'espère qu'un correctif arrivera pour ce modèle.
Poor
Bought for bmw f40 to code out stop start, the car has 5 ecu,s it can only read 3 so cannot disable stop start, tried it on my mk7 transit van and I cannot code anything on it, looked on previous updates of the app in the App Store and it’s all vw Audi Skoda every time it updates. Very disappointed with the product
Funktioniert sporadisch
Ich musste bei einem BMW i4 G26 pre lci den Fehlerspeicher auslesen. Egal was ich gemacht habe, es wurden immer keine Steuergeräte gefunden. Zum Glück hat es mit der App Deep obd in Verbindung mit dem Carly Adapter funktioniert. Also danke carly das du mir 2000€ reparaturkosten gespart hast. Bei meinem älteren 5er (f11) hat es immer halbwegs zuverlässig funktioniert.
The most inexpensive coding/scanning tool out there
This is my second one. Got rid of the first one because I didn’t see being able to by another BMW right away. With that being said. I love this scanner. Coding is easy, the options are listed as to what it does per item. It saves coding options in order to go back if need be. Codes are descriptive so if you’re mechanically inclined it even more worth it. If you have multiple vehicles you can use it on them also. You can also use it for a future purchase to scan. This is definitely a good buy that won’t break the bank.
Beware, they will charge you forever!
The device works reasonably well, but watch out, they will charge your credit card forever and make it extremely difficult to cancel. You can’t cancel on the app and you can’t cancel on their website. You’ll have to reach out to their customer support, at which they will tell you too bad, so sad, you have to pay for another year. This company is a scam! Their reply is very misleading. They intentionally make it extremely difficult to cancel and let’s be real… any good, legitimate company would honor their customer’s desire to cancel the day of the renewal. Instead, they say “too bad, you had to cancel a week before the renewal.” Ridiculous! Do not use or trust this company!

False Advertising - Waste of Money
I purchased through their website for $99.99 with free obd2 adaptor, nowhere did it say annual subscription. The app works, but disconnects frequently and is very limited in what it can actually do. It can’t do all they advertise, hence the title. They’ll tell you it’s vehicle dependent. They’ll upsell you on features you thought were included as well. There are two other apps that can perform more for less money, and they’ve perpetual licenses.
Difficult to cancel subscription
This company uses dirty practices to make it difficult as possible to cancel bloated overpriced subscriptions. You don’t get notifications or receipts. They don’t even add new features (for older cars, idk about new ones), what the heck are we paying for? Avoid!!! Edit: they did the right thing and refunded me.
Game changer
Everyone who likes their car to be in best condition should have this tool. Really is ideal for home repairs and identifying faults and repairs before taking your car to a garage.
Good for BMW and that’s it
Worked for my BMW 128 (12V battery change) but barely works for a Lexus LX470. Do not buy for anything other than a BMW. I can’t even read basic OBD codes for the Lexus.

Horrible Service 0 stars
I specifically asked about subscription cancellation when I signed up, because that was my main concern. I even submitted a support ticket a long time ago and was under the impression that my subscription had been turned off. Today, I woke up to an unexpected charge from Carly, which is extremely frustrating. On top of that, the tool itself has not been working as expected, so being charged for a service that doesn’t deliver makes this even worse. This feels misleading and poorly handled. I expect a full refund for this transaction and a clear confirmation that my subscription is canceled moving forward.

Waste of time
This app/product has a great idea, and can be useful. When it works. Never seems to code things correctly on various different vehicles. The app constantly freezes and is unsuccessful when completing procedures or connecting to vehicles. Chooses when it wants to connect to vehicles. Some times first time other times can take over 30 minutes and numerous attempts, so when trying to read live data is no good. Go buy a half decent OBD scanner and save the disappointment. I’ve had this over 2 years gave it benefit of doubt but yet it still disappoints me. The issue isn’t that my car is not fully supported. The issue is that this is a poor product that realistically is far from much more than a prototype. I have tried it on various makes, models and years within the VAG group, BMW’s and Mercedes.
Still waiting on BMW G30 series LCI full access 🤯
Nothing available as yet and no feedback from Carly regarding when I’ll actually start to see 2021 on having full access to Carly coding.
Great app, great support!
I have been a Carly user for a number of years. It’s a very helpful tool for a diagnosing and repairing issues with my BMW. Recently, my OBD scanner stopped working and after contacting them they are sending me a new adapter free of charge. Great customer support!
Don't buy, either the subscription or the Carly reader
You buy, you will regret what you've done. They are only compatible with their own software and hardware. You buy hardware, you have to subscribe their software, otherwise you can do nothing. And they will ask you pay the tariffs by yourself, which they will never specify on website before you place your order. And remember, once you purchase, you can hardly return it. Their service response is really a sht
Poor Customer "Service"
I purchased this in error thinking I was buying a stand alone unit but received an email stating it was a subscription model. I immediately emailed them asking to cancel and issue a refund. They refused stating the license had already been activated. Keep in mind I had not yet received the dongle nor had it been shipped so even if the license was activated I couldn't possibly have used it. Buyer beware because satisfaction is definitely NOT guaranteed.
Diagnosis worked well
The scanner worked well and was easy to use, the customer service on the other hand, I was out of the country with limited internet and couldn’t cancel the auto renewal which isn’t advertised very well and was refused a refund, won’t be using Carly again.
Configure Bug
App could do with a UI overhaul, its seems very bloated with info! The configure option for the widgets does not work at all, I thought this would have been fixed after having the app for 2 years now but apparently not
Great service
Brilliant customer support! They replied promptly to every email and offered to replace a nearly ten-year-old adapter that had decided to retire. I am very pleased with Carly.

Obviously it ran the analysis. 100% Ok. Heard back from support. They were unable to solve my problem but offered a refund. Great Support!!
Very difficult to cancel!
If you purchase through the app, rather then the App Store - it is very long winded to cancel your annual subscription. It really should not be this difficult. The app crashes often, is slow- and tbh pretty annoying.

Suggestions pour les développeurs : A quand une compatibilité avec Apple CarPlay ? Pouvoir consulter les données live sans devoir regarder son téléphone, ou afficher des informations critiques comme la température d’huile/d’eau et moteur ! No better than free software. Make sure to cancel subscription.
Tidy app but provides no more functionality than the free OBD apps. The fee is taken annually and the only way to cancel is to contact support. The worst type of user experience. Shame because the app has decent usability.
Subaru support is lacking
Same issue as above review. No American market Subaru model names listed at all but there are a few European names. But to just offer “hatchback” and my only option is “Leworg” (not a typo) since I know what I need is not “WRX wagon” is such a glaring omission and/or error I don’t know what to pick for working on customers 2011 2.5i Outback Wagon (which also is technically a hatchback). idk what to pick. I’ve used this Carly on other cars including my Kia and it work well. didn’t encountered these problems so maybe this is just a Subaru issue within Carly. The Carly has worked well but man, cmon, Subaru is a huuuge chunk of the American auto market that you’re not properly supporting it and leaving it up to a mechanic to have to make a guess and potentially ruin my reputation.
Great Scanner and better Customer Service
I bought this for my BMW and Audi and done exactly what we needed when we used it so for the money it was perfect. Customer Service with me was exceptional and I’ll use it again if I buy a car that needs its help

Application super bien, sauf pour les modèles, Citroën, et j’en passe beaucoup qui n’ont pas l’option codage, cette option est un peu le but de Carly mais beaucoup de marque ne peuvent pas l’utiliser. Ajoutez-le pour Citroën s’il vous plaît
Trojan Horse
The app is just a big advertisement to upgrade. My $50 ODB2 reader told me I had a p147d code, I tried my Carly app and it told me I had 8 critical problems and 30 minor but no p147d to be found. The problems it described were impossible to decipher.
Toyota ne fonctionne jamais
A chaque fois que je m’abonne pour Toyota, impossible d’activer ou utiliser sur toyota. Bmw fonctionne correctement mais c’est un cauchemar avec Toyota systématiquement.

Unethical annual “membership” made deliberately difficult to cancel
If you purchase Carly from their web site, they will store your credit card number and charge it every 12 months. They don’t make this obvious at purchase, they don’t send you an auto-renew reminder, and if you log in to your account you won’t see a renewal date or anywhere to cancel. You have to fill in a generic customer service web form and specifically ask not to be charged again. If it is less than a month before renewal, they’ll deny you. Everything about this “membership” policy is a customer trust breaker. In some countries it is illegal.

This app used to be good but now I can’t even connect to the scanner using this app it’s asking for location and I give it permission but what a waste of money this one gets zero stars!
Als VW Fahrer, viele nützliche Funktionen
Fahre einen VW Golf und für den gibt es reichlich Codiermöglichkeiten. Für mich war Start-Stop zu deaktivieren, ein Kaufkriterium. Auch mache ich den Ölwechsel selber und kann den Intervall(Serviceanzeige)mit Carly zurücksetzen. Würde aber auch ohne Carly gehen, bei mir über das Bordinstrument. Das man aber das Carly-Abo selbst kündigen muss und es nicht einfach automatisch selbst ausläuft(1 Jahr Laufzeit), finde ich selber auch schade aber das machen andere ja auch. Darum finde ich eine 1 Stern Bewertung deswegen, nicht wirklich fair.
Works Great-But they keep renewing your subscription.
I purchased the full app capabilities for 145.00 for one year. I needed it for a quick fix for an Acura I bought and was flipping. I used the product, sold the car and was done with Carly. One year later I see a bill for 145.00 on my credit card. Confused, I reached out to Carly (they have no phone number and respond to requests at 2-4am). They informed me when I signed up for 1 year, it signed me up indefinitely. They said I need to cancel through Apple. Apple showed no on-going subscriptions for Carly. I asked for them to cancel and refined or pro-rate me a refund. They said they can’t do that and I must give them 60 days notice to cancel. I asked how I do that, they said through Apple….arrrgg. They currently sell the year subscription for 55.00 and include a free scanner. I brought that to their attention, asking to refund me 90.00 and charge me the 55.00 that they charge everyone else. They informed me I agreed to this rate and everything can be found in their “general terms and conditions.” Sharing this a cautionary tale to others, as their customer support was not easy to work with and you will have an impossible time trying to get out of their subscription scam. Product is good, customer service is atrocious. Their product is 5 stars for the capabilities and ease of use their service is 0 stars and their ethical standards are a joke.
Vous pouvez faire mieux
Avis après utilisation sur : 1- BMW E87 2010 : j’ai pu faire certaines personnalisation comme rétroviseurs rabattable après verrouillage, allumage des feux d’accueil, vitesse digitale sur TBD… et bien sûre le diagnostic qui m’a permis d’identifier les problèmes d’allumage (réglé), capteur d’huile, et le FAP qui est un défaut confirmé sur TBD. Pour le FAP je n’ai pas réussi à supprimer le défaut ni à remettre les valeurs du cendre à zéro ! J’ai dû passer par une valise professionnelle. 2- Opel Agila 2009 : ne détecte rien alors que j’ai le centralisé qui ne fonctionne pas sur la porte conducteur. 3- Renault Clio 3 et Megane 2 : il m’affiche un kilométrage de plus d’un million et ne détecte rien. Conclusion : J’espère que mon retour après usage sera utile pour la suite du développement de cette application qui est à mon sens plus abouti pour les BMW que les marques que j’ai essayé.
