Gutes Tool
Nutze BimmerLink schon länger an meinen BMW‘s und Mini‘s. Leider wird mein E85 nicht unterstützt was ich sehr schade finde. Habt ihr noch vor den Typ zu integrieren? Würde mich freuen. 😉

App with poor internationalization support
This app does not have a way to convert units from metric to standard so it shows everything in km and Celsius. Disappointed that the app does not have a way to convert the units

Does not work with recommended dongle
This app fails to connect to my E92 using the OBD BT dongle their site recommends as best (OBDLink CX). Also, their site listed E46 compatibility, but after it failed to connect I contacted them and they said it does not - yet they did not offer a refund. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS APP DEVELOPER.
Best invention but
I really like the app, have it all the time as dashboard on my android screen. But I live in USA, so even though I select units of measure to be Miles and Fahrenheit, the Target Temperature Coolant is always in Celsius. So when comparing to actual coolant temp and oil temp, i have to do the math versus being able to compare directly
Connection issues
It takes quite a long time to connect to the vehicle and then drops the connection randomly. The features are nice well thought

I’ve bought the app and accompanying ODB connector for my daughter’s Mini. The app delivers on the sensor values and error codes reading but it lacks some very basic UI features, for example a simple search or filter for adding sensor values to the log - the list is huge and the names are cryptic, often too long to be fully readable. This would be an easy fix. Secondly, less technical users would find it helpful to select a predefined set of values they should log, for example ‘Check for timing issues’ or ‘Check common diesel issues’ rather than only providing cryptic labels that mean very little to list people (ie Target camshaft inlet value opens). Much more useful would be some preconfigured sets to health-check certain engine functions and an explanation on what the values mean - is this number healthy or not? How should this number align with that one? The app gives you the values but zero guidance or actual help with basic diagnostics. Happy to revise my rating when some updates have been made. Idea: AI integration to interpret logged values. I did this manually but it’s pretty tedious. The app would be the perfect example where AI input would help, especially once it knows which vehicle it is connected to.

Terrible connectivity
This app is absolute garbage. I have the MHD universal adapter and it takes on average 30 tries to get this app to connect. MHD and bimmerfix connect instantly. What a waste of money!

Limited functions
This app is lacking features like adaptation clear and various start up and service procedures. This is a very basic code reader and maintenance reset which can be done using Kombi. I would cross shop first before buying.

Parking Brake Service Mode
Be aware that PBSM requires full app purchase even though it is not listed with “*****” next to it in the description. Found this out after I was mid-brake job. It said the service mode failed but I heard the motor retract so proceeded with the work. After, service mode deactivated successfully.

Awesome App
Helps me monitor the state of the vehicle whether it be temps, boost, or valve control. This app is amazing.
Pretty disappointed
Didn’t drive the car for 6 weeks and the CarPlay app is telling me I have no Sensor Values selected. Tried rebooting the phone, disconnecting/reconnecting the phone, deleted/reinstalled the app (really lost all my sensor values now!), added back a test sensor value…CarPlay app still can’t talk to the phone. I’m running iOS 18.5..is that the issue?!?

Mir gefällt es wie intuitive die App zu bedienen ist und wie viel man darin anpassen kann. Am meisten nutze ich das Dashboard um alle Live Daten vom Fahrzeug zu sehen. Es funktioniert alles flüssig ohne Verbindungsabbrüchen.
Partially works
Doesn’t reset everything. Doesn’t reset the oil service no matter what I do. Which was the main reason for buying it. Since shows service required. The advice was to lock the site and try later. Hmm. Not great. I have resorted to a more professional device that worked fine
Good but could be great!
The app does its job by letting you reset services you diy and it is very helpful however I purchased the CarPlay add on to display certain sensor values on my infotainment screen rather than my phone and was disappointed that it shows up as a list and not gauges like the “dashboard” section on the phone app. Other wise this app could be a 5 star for me if it wasn’t for that.

Cannot connect to xA WiFi adapter
Does not connect to the xA WiFi adapter or E series BMWs. Meanwhile the xHF app works flawlessly with the same adapter and car.
Disappointing
I purchased this application in hopes of fixing coding errors performed by BimmerCode. Unfortunately, after numerous tries, the errors created by BimmerCode could not be cleared and I will now spend $350 to have BMW fix this. What a disappointment! Hopefully BimmerLink and BimmerCode will at least issue a refund.
No exhaust flap option
Bought this app for the exhaust flap option for my 420d 2014. But there’s no exhaust flap option on the app even?? Is there a way to get it ?
Battery Registration
If your thinking of buying BimmerLink to register a new battery to your BMW if the battery is not exactly the same and I mean like for like, if it is different in anyway even slightly you will also need to code the battery and will need to also purchase BimmerCode for an extra £50 plus the plug in device which I used Veepeak OBD2 which cost £30. On reflection I would have just put the car in with a local Independent garage to supply and fit as I’m not in to playing around with the settings on my car as usually this ends with me having to get things fixed at a considerable cost.

Not helpful for BMW Mini SE
Garbage. If I wanted an app to read codes and clear them, I could have used a free app. Does not work for any of our BMW MINI’s EV’s even though they’re listed as supported. Can’t monitor 12v or high voltage electric battery, on a 2022, 2023 or 2024 Mini SE. App just says unknown. It basically only clears error codes. A total waste and of course, Apple denied my refund for the app not working as described even though that’s exactly the issue, and I’ve never requested a refund on my account in years. Thanks Apple for that, and thanks to BimmerLink for wasting my $40 for a useless app.

App is now slow
Not sure what update caused this, but identifying ecu’s on vehicles is now dreadfully slow Even if you have scanned a car once, the app does not remember very well
Bluetooth not authorized
I have a problem becouse I open app and told me to authorized to connect to Bluetooth but when i try do it on IOS doesn’t show me nowhere to do it any help please ?

Worked first time right out of box
Using vepeak ble+ on iPad for 2008 535xit Got signal and logged on immediately. Could not present more than 5 dashboard values without read error... Will play with it to run more tests
DPF regen
DPF regeneration tab on my 2016 f11 semi works, screen freezes asking for a request giving no live data but once I’ve clicked off and back on it says it’s happened.
Connection to v linker
After a full day faffing around I’ve been unable to get the app to connect to the scan tool above. Unsure if it’s a software problem with the app or a hardware problem with the scan tool.
