Good redesign
Good redesign considering what this app once was. Love the channel scheduling within the app as well the current stories and features for all tours. When will we get some notification notices? I’m not getting any as of yet even though I approved notification. Overall, the app is good and I definitely look forward to subtle improvements going forward.

Overall good , turn off the pop up to turn on notifications. I should have the option to receive notifications and would like the option to TURN Off
A true shank
I’m not sure for other people right now, but for me the past few months, I haven’t been able to watch the live broadcast for anything. Even with a cable subscribed network to use. When before those months it was perfectly fine.

This app sucks
What a piece of garbage. Video will only play in portrait mode on my ipad regardless of the actual orientation of my screen. Frequently, no video plays at all, I just get a black screen with no controls and have to kill the app.

New app needs help
I just updated to a new version of the app on 7/1/26. When playing the live channel or replaying a stream, the video window on my ipad keeps rotating to the wrong perspective. With the ipad in landscape position, the video window is black, (no video displayed). If i rotate the Ipad to portrait, the video is displayed with 1/2 of the video chopped off.

Streaming doesn’t work
Not sure why these folks having tv rights to the pga when you can’t watch anything. I tried on my iPad and iPhone. Reset the apps. Still nothing. Shame.
Much better app than the new NBC app.
Can see all tours in one place and keeps scores updating faster
Needs an upgrade
App currently has a few technical shortfalls as well as content ones. Firstly, it assumes only people based in the US are using it. It defaults to the NBC app necessitating user to have to scroll back to home page. It also doesn’t cover golf event scores consistently. For example DP World tour scores are often not shown. LPGA scores sometimes don’t show detailed round scores. European women tour scores also not shown. Has it yet changed its attitude on LIV? Still no scores. Overall instead of being an all inclusive golf app it’s very much US and PGA tour centric. It had the potential to be the go to app for all things golf if it addresses these issues.

Landscape mode on iPad
No matter what I do this app rotates the screen and will not stay in landscape mode. I’ve tried everything so what’s the deal?
The back feature
After you scroll down on the app and read an article. When you hit back the app takes you to the top and then you have to scroll back down to read another article instead of taking you back. So then you have to scroll back down to read another article

One of the Worst iPad Apps I’ve Ever Used!
I updated to the latest version of the app on my 13” iPad Air running iPad OS 26.5.2. The app remains virtually unusable to watch streaming video. The app will not remain in landscape mode, continuously switching to portrait mode while sitting on a flat surface and not being touched. I am at a loss to understand the app developer’s QC. One again hugely disappointed. This app is hugely disappointing and virtually unusable. The only way to watch golf is in landscape mode. The app will not display video in landscape. How is it possible that the developers of this app do not recognize this? I would love to be able to stream the Golf Channel on my iPad. The lack of landscape mode makes this virtually impossible.
Review
I watch everything I can and enjoy your broadcasts with the exception that there are golfers not named Tiger and they actually play from week to week, would be nice to hear about them. I like Tiger but it is a constant Tiger this and Tiger that. Don’t take away from other golfer’s accomplishments. I am sending this to you on behalf of our men’s group that agree with this recommendation.
Watching the leaders only??
The biggest problem watching the PGA and the Golf Channel/NBC is that they only show the leaders. Very rarely do they show anyone else. It’s boring! That’s why it’s so refreshing to watch LIV Golf, they show everyone.

Already needs another overhaul
This update is a total failure. I was excited to be able to finally stream GC content across devices, but nothing works like it should. First off, the screen orientation is screwed up when viewing streams on iPad. I try to watch it in landscape and the screen automatically flips to portrait. I have to use orientation lock to get it to stay in the proper format for how I’m holding my screen. Secondly, and maybe this portion should go elsewhere, but I can’t even open a stream on the fire stick. I’m logged in and have access to all content through my tv provider, but when I try to open a steam, It acts like it’s opening, then I get a message saying “something went wrong with fetching media tailor session url!” I’ve tried force closing the app, clearing the cache/data, restarting the device, logging out and back in, and I get the same message no matter what I try. Also can’t airplay from iPad or phone because the app doesn’t allow it. So, despite being excited for this update, nothing that I needed to be changed to make the app a success was changed, so it remains an app I’ll never use.

Newer version loads so slow. Most times, the scores don’t show. I like the previous version better. Please fix.

Can’t sign in with TV provider??
Can’t really rate this app anything but one star for now. Unable to get past the screen to sign in with TV provider. I select provider, and then just get a black screen. Please fix!!!
For a premier golf app it needs to be better
Way to slow uploading news, videos and scoring. Crashes constantly and is very unreliable. For the number one golf channel, the app is very poor

I like the Golf Channel. I enjoy when I want to read about golf not to look at NBC and not to weed through all sports on NBC. They need to be separate.
Cannot link my tv provider (DirecTV)
I am not able to watch any live golf events. The app will not let me use my TV provider (DirecTV) to watch any live events.

Golf Channel is way more golf informative than the new NBC Sports App. NBC doesn’t know or care much about golf! Please don’t discontinue the Golf Channel App.
