Super convenient
I use this almost every day in Berlin and it never lets me down!
Pop up ads render the free version useless
Full screen animated ads pop up at random, preventing use of the app. Some of these have no way to close them til finished. Half the time the ads take over at a crucial moment, like just as train is pulling into station, preventing a double check of your route. Avoid the free version if at all possible.

Sehr schön aber immer kommt dieser Werbung und man kann ihn auch nicht richtig schließen und dann muss man immer etwas herunterladen. Schade . Ich glaube ich werde sie nicht mehr nutzten weil mich total nervt
Map not updated
The map is good. Search function works well. Unfortunately, the very important route for the fast train from the airport to the main train station is not updated. It takes a different route. Thanks to map I was able to find my way!

Unusable with ads
I’m in Berlin for one week, not enough time to validate a purchase. When the ad shows up there is no way to get rid of it. Soooo, the app is literally unusable.
Map Update
I like using this app for commuting and planning the routes. The only issue I have is that the subway map is currently outdated. There were some line changes in the past months (S9 for example) that are not displayed on the current map. Please update it :)
Ads annoying!!!
Ads are fine, can’t complain when service is free. When it triggers a loud video automatically, that’s a different issue..

The BEST
So easy to use as it's offline so it works above ground and below. Very simple interface. You can partially enter a street (not necessarily a specific stop) and all of the nearby stops will come up so helpful if you can't quite remember the name of the stop, but you'd know it if you heard it type thing. Very very convenient and quick. I liked the Berlin one SO much that I downloaded the NYC one. Fantastic.
Insufferable ads
The ads are frequent, intrusive, and awful, and who wants to pay a subscription for a map?
The S9 lines updating on the map
The S9 no longer mainly runs to Pankow. It runs through Alexanderplatz and towards Spandau
Ständig Werbung
Ich hab noch nie in einer App so viel Werbung bekommen. Da lade ich mir lieber einen statischen Netzplan runter und nutze den. Mit der App wird wirklich jeder Block auf die Karte zum Geduldsspiel.
Acceptable
Pros: decent mapping, works offline, clean UI. Cons: no tap-to-zoom (this isn’t iOS 7), doesn’t include buses (trains stop at 1am), ads take up the entire screen when playing.
Really impressed
As a fellow app developer I have to say I was so impressed with this app. 100% offline step-by-step directions with GPS and a polished interface. My trip to Berlin w/out a data coverage would have been frustrating to get around without this app, THANK YOU!!!

Good app needs update & adverts distracting
Very useful app, easy to use and generally accurate, but adverts are distracting and as of 23rd Dec 2015 it still thinks there is a U12 route whereas this is now gone as U1 and U2 construction is now complete.

Great app for travelers to save on Data usage
I used this app on my recent 10/2015 trip to Berlin. I'm from the States and my data plan was useless so I'm very happy that this app could be used offline (using my iPhone's GPS). I would say this that this was extremely helpful...in conjunction with another city map app that I used which also used GPS. I did upgrade so that I didn't have to see ads but that's just me. There was only one time when the route was off and unlike the BVG (Berlin' s official transit app which does require internet connection), this app doesn't provide departure time or frequency of stops. Despite these two small complaints, I think this is a great app - simple to use. Definitely using it whenever I'm in Berlin!
Too many annoying ads
This app might be great if ads didn’t prevent you from using it when needed. They’re not just on the margins—they take over the screen!
Excellent
I was in Berlin recently for the marathon and found the app to be very useful. It would be more useful if the subway lines were more clearly identified. Also there are two stops for the Olympic Stadium, and the app doesn't distinguish well between them. Lastly, you should be warned that for some reason it uses a tremendous amount of data. I bought a 120 MB plan for a 3 day trip. I normally don't use this much in a month in NYC, but the app used about 75% of my allotment without a lot of use.
Ruined by the adverts
Useful planning app but ruined by the adverts which pop up at the wrong moment. Tolerated for 1 day and deleted it on day 2

What a great app, it is very difficult to retain the names in german, thanks to this app we were able to move around very easily
Freezes constantly
The app is useful, but freezes constantly. Lots of ads when you are in a hurry to find out your route. They will try to sell you a lot of things.

Seit neuestem ist ‚Uber‘ als versteckte Werbung implementiert, die sich trotz In-App-Kauf nicht deaktivieren lässt. Wenn ich Taxi fahren will, nutze ich keine App für das öffentliche Verkehrsnetz! Daher nur 3 Sterne
Absolutely essential
Hung out in Berlin a few days and this app made it insanely easy to get around. Tracks your position on GPS and plots your route, even when you're not on wifi.
Don’t buy the ‘remove ads’ feature
It doesn’t work - you still get advertisements, and if you contact support they say it’s Apple’s fault. A good way to rip you off for $2.99 without doing any work. I liked the free Berlin metro but they didn’t update it for iOS 11 so I bought this one. It’s ok, nothing stellar and it still has those ads.
Good App, but Doublecheck it
A useful App, but should not be relied on blindly. I used it a lot last week in Berlin, and found a few instances where it did not suggest the most direct route or failed to note that either of two S-Bahn lines were equally good for my intended route. Thus, you should use the app as a starting point only and check its recommendations against your U-Bahn/S-Bahn map.

Ich habe eine App in deutscher Sprache gewählt und erhalte eine, die nicht von englisch auf eine andere Sprache eingestellt werden kann, dafür gibt es bei Einstellungen eine Menge Überflüssiges

Some lines are missing from some stops when using the map. Otherwise really like the app.

Not good for everything
This app doesn't include tram routes, nor regional train options. It also doesn't let you input an address as a start or end point.

the gift that keeps on taking
as another reviewer wrote, first you pay $3 for what was once free before ios 11, and you still get ads. even worse, they want you to pay an ADDITIONAL $4 for the ‘ad-free’ version. UGH
Good enough.
The app serves the purpose. I've downloaded several apps from the same producer for different cities. It's just annoying that they make one single app for each city. I'd prefer to have only one where I could choose the cities i need within the app.

Near useless
Calculates a route, but doesn't show direction of travel. How hard would it be to code that? Not very...

Directions are wrong
The app supplies directions that are impossible, such as taking the U7 directly to the Hbf. Even when directions are possible, they don't make good travel sense.
Great app!
This app was essential in helping us navigate around Berlin. I can't even describe how useful it was. My only suggestion is that you add which end point (direction) you need to go. Currently you have to set the route, then look up on the map where the end of the line is so you get on the right train. Integrate that with the routes and it would be gold! Many thanks!
False Information
While the map was accurate, the route planner was not. It told us to take the S3 to Alexanderplatz, but this route does not exist! It also does not explain which direction to take the trains in, not every platform has screens displaying this information. We ended up using this as just a map rather than an interactive tool.
