This app is amazing! We are so lucky that it is an app. It deserves a five star review. This app is just amazing.
Won’t load
I went to open the app today, and while it was loading, it kicked me off for no reason. Also not very inclusive, all main characters are white and straight. Absolutely no lgbtq+ rep in any of the shows. Not even any aro or ace rep.

Audio
Good family channel. The audio is always super low no matter what platform you use, you must turn up your sound well beyond normal use. This leads to getting blown out by the sound when you change channels or go to another app.
Can’t watch without cutting out
Trying to watch and it keeps cutting out of the entire app. I go back, find where I left off watch for a couple minutes and cuts out again. And I have the most up to date version installed. Disappointed
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
This is the best streaming service ever. It’s clean, funny, and spiritual. If you get this app I would recommend watching Studio C seasons 1-9 it’s SOOOOOOOOOO good
Can’t get the times straight
Why does a video have Eastern and Pacific Time zone’s when it is played in the Mountain. This is absurd, do you really think your attracting viewers from the east and west coast, when the majority of our fans are in UT?
Uplifting Shows. Check on Two of Them
I enjoy most of the shows and movies on this app. I especially like Making Good, Relative Race, and most of the family movies. I wanted to let you know that Book Thief should have at least a PG rating or higher because of violence, death, and war. I also wanted to let you know that the football movie 23 something does not open and it doesn’t state a future date to watch. Thank you for providing so many positive and uplifting programs. Content: Great!, App: Needs work
I love tuning in to SN and enjoying the BYU sports content. But I’m wondering if the dev team is aware of and trying to fix the issue with the app where if you go from full screen to small or temporary switch to another app and come back, the video player then gets caught in the screen sleep settings rather than staying awake. Requires me to kill the app every time and go back to full screen. There are mag other players out there that don’t fail like this. I hope you can fix this glitch soon…

I would love to watch the spoken word live but I can’t watch live tv. That tab never works for me. But I love all the streaming options. Such great content! Thank you

Screen size
I have been enjoying this app on my iPad immensely, however when I did the latest update on 8/20/2025 the screen size is only about 3x5 inches. It has no way to enlarge to full screen on my iPad. Please fix!!
Great content but on clear offline platform
The website says you can download shows for viewing offline, if so, it’s as clear as mud. I looked at multiple videos and nothing. Great content, but half my time is no where near an internet connection. Too bad. Good stuff.

Phone shuts off
The app doesn’t keep your phone on so you have to keep tapping the screen or phone just shuts off and sleeps
Fixers
Please bring back new episodes of the Fixers. They are so inspiring. They make amazing things happen in unbelievable time frames but so often they demonstrate how they receive as much as they give. They demonstrate that the connections to the people they were sent to for aid allows them to understand what and how to make the builds become life changing and far reaching. I would love updates on their projects to get a glimpse of the lives they have impacted. Please keep them coming! Karin and Courtney would be amazing hosts for follow up visits. You need them both and if they could add one or two more little projects while they’re on location.

I can’t go back to the last episode I watched without a new search. The app automatically goes to season 1 episode 1
It’s okay
It needs some work, it’s got some SOME good content but you can’t lock the screen into position, I’ve realized that if you even semi tilt your phone it messes with the screen really annoying, it has no time bar so if you need to fast forward or rewind you have to continuously press the back 15 seconds button to get to where you want, it could definitely use some work.

Too hard to navigate
We simply cannot seem to get into the site to watch a movie. It asks for a lot of verification that we can’t figure out.

It’s great.
Frequently Broken.
Live events are especially prone and I’m far from the only one who has issues. On any given day there’s a 50% chance I won’t be able to access what I want, and even when going through the website the rate is ~20%, which is way too high. Can be nice for watching content that isn’t live, however, though that occasionally breaks too.

We love watching some of the shows on BYUTV but disappointed a lot of times when we are unable to watch some shows as they’re not available in our region. Not sure why. Is there any specific reason for this?

Idk whose idea it was so you can’t watch full screen horizontally needs to be fired. Other than that the content is fine.

User Experience Stinks
I love BYU TV, but this app stinks. I watch BYU sports nation every day, but the app never remembers or gives me an option to just click on it, one click, to get to the show I watch every day. Every other app I use knows what I watch and offers it with one click. I literally have to scroll down to the sports section, click on it, then scroll down and find the latest episode. It’s frustrating every time. Do the people who develop this app even use it?
This is great
Byu tv has been fantastic for my family and I, we know that we can chuck it on and not have to worry bout a single thing eg swearing, sexual references, explicit violence etc. I can't stand the normal tv there is nothing decent and wholesome and I'm constantly worrying What is going to come up next that I don't want myself and family seeing. But with byu tv you don't get a single worry and the spirit can still dwell in our home with it on.

I live in Europe and no longer with the possibility to watch BYU tv live from my pc. Disappointing.

More Silliness for 1 to 12,
My children and myself survive on silliness in order to spend time with each other discuss topics and learn to smile in hards time. Honestly saves families.
Unstable and Frustrating
The app frequently crashes and has trouble advancing to the next episode, sometimes skipping to a different one entirely. It also does not consistently remember where playback was left off when exiting and returning. These issues occur whether signed in or not, making the experience unreliable and frustrating.
