Disappointed by lack of features
The LCBO app is easy to use and has a nice clean interface. That said, it lacks some basic but crucial features. Adding these would make it a fantastic app. 1. There's no rating system for the wines. Just a favorite button. What if I'm trying to remember what NOT to buy? Adding a 5 star rating option next to the favorites would be great. 2. Adding a review section would also be great so people can write what they thought of the wine and read others' review of it. 3. Adding a recommendations based on your rating feature would be great, similar to how Netflix recommends movies based on what your ratings. But for that LCBO would first need to add ratings to the app.

If you like to try different wines this app is perfect! We were using this app to check sweetness values at the restaurant.
Can’t order a bottle of port
Tried ordering a bottle of port. The quantity + button doesn’t work. If you hit the add to cart button a window pops up saying quantity is 0. No it’s not zero. Your IQ is zero for not checking this infernally balky app for errors. Too busy planning the next strike.
Easy to use
Very handy app - easy to use and does what it says it will. Could be even better with a couple more functions, like a shopping list and a way to add notes to favorites.
Very slow, poor interface, favourites list fails
Possibly the worst app in the App Store. Forces you to touch “Okay” at the bottom and to close the annoying banner at the top EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU USE THE APP. Favourite products tab DOES NOT LOAD even 10 minutes later. The app is almost entirely useless, forcing you to use Safari to do anything useful like check what stores have a specific SKU, what the hours are of the store, or to actually refer to your favourites list. What brain dead imbecile designed this terrible app? What fools at the LCBO actually paid someone more than $3 to build this miserable, non functioning app?
Privacy please?
If you try to set your “local” store and you search, find and select it, the app requires you to have location services turned on. I don’t think so! Why do you need to know where I am just to select my local LCBO branch. This app is pretty invasive for just checking to see if a beer or wine is in stock!
Doesn’t work
The app opens to the background image and the spinny thing. Not even the LCBO text. Removing and will stick to desktop website
Worst development ever
After each update some part of app stop working. Now account and favourites stop working.
NO IMAGES??
As other reviewers have written, this app is buggy and the search function reminds me of going to the library and using the dewy decimal system in how it shows the results... No way to sort the results of a search. Results load very slowly and you end up forcing the search over and over to load more… Images often do not show, especially on initial results of a search. Buggy. Shameful. In theory these are easy fixes but it also appears not many people are using it???
Inventory
The app does not accurately depict real time inventory for any products. The displayed inventory is often days out of date.
Crashing App
The app keeps crashing. After the new update, the app is useless. I can’t give 0 stars, so it will be 1.
Contender for Worst App Ever
This must be one of the worst apps available currently. I shudder to think how much money the Ontario government spent on its creation. Issues (too many to mention, but here’s just a few): - search works sporadically - can’t sort by price - lost all my favorites from the previous app
