Love CheapOair!
I always find great deals on CheapOair. Their site is easy to use. The customer service is excellent and the reps are very helpful. Always very satisfied with their service!
Horrible Customer Support
I spent an hour with support because of a simple issue. I eventually just called the airline itself and they were able to correct it in less than a minute. It’s worth whatever extra you have to pay to purchase flights directly from the airline instead of dealing with their useless customer service and booking mistakes.

Availability
I am unable find the shorter routes, all of them at least 42hours. Very disappointing as I cannot filter it.

Not the best recent experience
I booked a one way flight to Dublin- West Jet - via CheapOair. I received e-mail confirmation then a hour or so a call from a suppose employee from a New York State. By then I was working my son’s puppy and could not hear clearly the person of call - combination of background noise, accent and ‘old ears’. I explained the challenges & request an e-mail instead pmts if needed a phone call later when I would be home. A second phone call but no requested e-mail; no follow up e-mail either after a second request; disappointing, ugh! In between I called CheapOair to check the earlier, post booking call was legitimate - apparently so. Different division trying to sell me additional insurance. I have never had such an experience previously. The latter will likely deter me from booking with CheapOair again. Unnecessary anxiety was created because tge caller was seeking verification of details contained in the confirmation e-mail from CheapOair. Both times I could not understand the caller, both time the request e-mail committed to, did not arrive. My time was wasted my anxiety level raised

CheapOair never took my requests for accessibility assistance seriously
A car rental site off airport was assigned . Route .. Told it would require a shuttle however the mobility personnel had no idea where the shuttle would be nor the requirement to take a train . The car rental service took no care and sent a shuttle which my handicapped husband could not board so another shuttle had to be sent . No explanation of how the car worked . When asked if the shuttle would take us to the terminal because of my husbands mobility needs, they said no.

My brother in law suddenly passed away this AM. In Canada the Cheap o Air representative Elsie was more than helpful to help me through the finding and booking my flight to Nanaimo BC Canada from Las Vegas. Hurry for her and her time and booking
They’re shady and unreliable.
I made a car rental reservation in Mexico through CheapOair. I was charged $15 for the reservation, but when I arrived at the rental counter, the price was completely different from what was shown in the app. Because of the unexpected price difference, I decided to cancel the reservation. I contacted CheapOair to request a refund of the $15 charge, but they told me it was non-refundable. I’m very disappointed with the experience and the lack of transparency regarding the pricing. I would not recommend CheapOair for car rentals, and I will not be using their service for future car reservations.
Better than expected.
I’ve used this app just a couple of times to book my flights and haven’t had any issues yet. Someone close to me was skeptical because of the name of the app but realized it was legit. If there’s any issue, I’m correcting this review.

CheapOair employees are very friendly and easy to talk with, they are also very helpful with any questions or issues as i booked the wrong return flight they have a few solutions to fix and assist if they can. I will definitely be booking through them again in the future for a last minute flight! Thank you!

I have been in and out of the app many times now. When I get to check out, it cancels my transaction & says “this flight is not available” yet it continues to appear in my search on the app as well as the browser. Very frustrating!

Your customer service needs serous improvement
I want to change my return flight by a day and have been working on this for over 2 days now with each “expert” saying that they submitted the request and to check back with them after 20 minutes, 2 hours, 4 hours etc. Still waiting on that to be fixed as we speak.
SMS updates
It would be good if you can receive SMS updates of scheduled flights with another service provider other than your only options which are all USA providers

Absolutely Horrible! Everything looked as though I were booking the hotel I usually get for work but they switched it to a location 45 minutes away from where I needed for work. Then the place I was sent was very dangerous and nasty. They wouldn’t cancel and I lost out on four days of hotel. Highly recommend another booking site

Much better and easier than having to go through the web browser on my phone. The one thing that I would like to be able to do is 'watch' or 'follow' a ticket to see if the price will drop and getting notifications for that.
Confusing
Why is the amount always in C$? not in US$
£ and $.
The English (Great Britain) version has $ (Dollar)signs against the prices and not £(Sterling). It becomes very confusing.

Good but needs enhancements
I booked trip successfully and within seconds company called me to confirm and that was great. Later on every day or 2 days I got emails asking for extra service . That was ok but they care 90% in their emails on marketing but where is the services for my flight ? Where is the info for check in online? I tried to see online checking from my mobile small screen, message appears says to chat if I need a hotel and does not go from screen As I bought a tickets, I care more about my reservation not to get hotel or car

The service is ok and average. Not much to choose. Quite frequently delayed. But Virgin keeps blaming the Airport problems. Not quite true. Perhaps in one or two cases.

Looks like a great little app. Very good functions. Unfortunately, for me anyway, it will only display options in US Dollars so you would be subject to exchange rates if booking in other currencies.
