Warning new security prodigals for money transfers
On about Oct 2025 there was a change in security procedures for this App with transferring money or paying by QR Code. Foreign accounts are restricted/limited to 1,000 baht transfer or QR code. I recently upgraded my phone and during the change the new security was applied when logging into new device. Going back to old phone would not fix the problem. The fix ended up changing bank. To be able to pay by QR code or transfer more than 1,000 per incident. Be careful when changing/upgrading phones as this will happen to foreign bank account owners. My passport was issued in 2017. Placing on top of the reader/scanner did not work I was nicely told I could no longer transfer out more than 1,000 baht.

Barely functional
This app works for the purpose of using the scan to pay for things and send money. But, get ready to be constantly booted off the platform. The security settings are so tight that something as simple as switching from WiFi to mobile data too often will activate a security feature that basically interprets that activity as belonging to a different user. Only way to fix it is an in person visit to the bank.

Terrible app - an and now they force you to use it after they canceled online banking. What a terrible bank. What a terrible service. And the app doesn’t even work.
Request for next update
I would like to see a more user friendly platform for people with disabilities. The font on the app doesn’t adapt with the font size that I use to read basic text messages. Also, due to the aging population, this will also help them as well.
No Thai names and update during use
Recipients cannot have Thai names. This is a remarkable limitation for a Thai bank. App updates are forced during app use. I have never encountered an app that does so.

Works well for most daily uses
I use this app to perform every day transactions from money transfers to bill payments. So far it’s been working as expected so no complaints.
Kinda crazy app
Once you finally get this set up it's a pretty good app. Just keep in mind when you set it up it keeps telling you to shut off the Internet. What it needs to tell you is to use cell data only. And then at some point you have to go back and turn on the Internet. It's kind of frustrating to set up. And for a big bank like this it's kind of embarrassing that they would have an app that is so difficult to install. But then again it's Thailand. Is there
Face scanning update
Recently I gave this a one star. I would like to change to 4 star. My AIS sims card was not compatible with bank. Went to AIS store and told them the issue, received a new sims card and that fix the issue.
No screenshots allowed of your own financial transactions
The app will block attempts to take screenshots. There is no disable for this and it seems pointless. We are adults and should be entrusted to capture our information how we feel best. This is necessary to get receipts of transactions and account reporting as there is no easy alternative to recording individual expenses other than monthly statements. Every other banking app allows for screenshots.

I've been with KTB for the two years that I've lived in Thailand, and as a bank they're great. Moreover, this app just adds to how happy I am with the level of service. The new app and online banking is a vast improvement from before. Speedy, easy to use and a nice clean app with English language optional. I use the app every month to do international money transfers and there's never been a problem. Good job KTB :)
Useless
The face scanner doesn't work, so it's impossible to activate the app. KTB should be embarrassed by such a poorly performing product.

โดยรวม application ใช้งานง่าย ทั้งนี้ อยากให้ธนาคารปรับปรุงเรื่องการใช้งานบัตร travel card ที่ต่างประเทศ เนื่องจากเมื่อนำบัตรไปใช้ซื้อของ online ณ ต่างประเทศ ระบบจะส่งรหัส otp มาเบอร์โทรศัพท์ไทย ซึ่ง ณ ขณะนั้นไม่ได้ใช้เบอร์จากประเทศไทย ส่งผลให้ไม่สามารถใช้บัตรซื้อสินค้า online เมื่ออยู่ต่างประเทศได้
Frustrating
Banking app goes offline every single night around midnight and makes it impossible to scan QR codes for payment or transfer funds to another person’s account. You never know what time it will actually stop working or start working again. Will be switching banks soon.

it is not possible to use an foreign phone number. even if you register with an thai number it will not work on ipad or ipod touch. it spys you out by wants to use location and phone number and search devices on your lokal network. not save cause top, otp come to same device where the app is installed. savety nit work like the app designers think. even old otp paper lists are more save.

useless when outside thailand
i’m in Singapore and the app used to work fine. But now I can’t go through the registration process thus I have lost access to the account. The old process just requires a Thai mobile number, which i have, but the new process does not use mobile number for verification. there’s no way i can travel to Thailand during this pandemic and it’s unconscionable for this app to cut off overseas users like this.
