Pretty Dependable
I am now retired and rarely use except for concerts, meeting old colleagues for dinner in Times Square etc. the app helps me greatly and makes my trips easy. Thank you LIRR
Unfair Surcharges.
The app charges you an $8 surcharge for tickets ALREADY BOUGHT that also EXPIRE with in 24 hours. Consumer extortion. People need to stay away from this app and go back to buying tickets from the machine. We also need more people to file complaints to consumer affairs for this blatant extortion of more money for a service already paid for!!
Rider on Babylon branch
Not dependable because did not inform riders Babylon branch does not enter Atlantic term after a ny islander game
Please fix this app!
Why do I have to click ok to accept preferences every time I use the app? Select once and save. Also fix doubleclick, its too close in the UI to the date/time selector, changing the date or time keeps opening Kohls ads and kicking me out of the app. These are basic easy fixes

Was much better before all the pop up ads started blocking the schedule your trying to look at.

Clean. Comfortable seats. The Ticket Takers are professional but friendly. The announcements are clear. My rides have always been relaxing and uneventful.

Wanted me to sign up and it went to a fraudulent site that my cc flagged be careful on this site
Ads are worthless
Constant ads prevent me from using the app when I need information quickly.
The new update is AWFUL
Glitching, lagging, choppy. Can’t scroll smoothly, none of my favorite pairs are saved and I keep on having to manually put in my destination. Visually it’s also pretty ugly and way less clear than the lighter, simple color palette and design of the old version that had better spacing. Visually it’s just too busy and confusing. Just an all around awful update. I wish it would change back.

I really wanted this to work but sitting on track 17 the announcement was 20. Not close. I will though try it again since I live on faith but reality forms after a while.

This app generally anticipates and satisfies my needs in logical and intuitive fashion.
Incorrect Information
I used this app to pay for my ticket to a train that didn’t take me to the location I selected in the app. App stated that I could take a 3:17PM train from Jamaica to Wydandanch arriving at 3:57PM. Including the track number. Followed the directions through the app, and I ended up in Babylon and had to pay for a lyft to get back to where I needed to be. Would rate this app 0 stars if I could.

Glitchy - opens up blank. I saved my favorite routes and logged in but even tho I’m logged in, there is nothing listed in my favs and getting the schedules are hit or miss.
Better features than MTA Train time
I love that this app shows you all the train times for the day instead of them disappearing. You can also check into a train and it shows you the stops in a cleaner way. The discover feature was also quite enjoyable to keep me entertained on the longer rides.
Notification spam
Have used this app for years and today I received over 100 notifications about trains being delayed that I have never used. Deleting app and never coming back again. Fix your product.

Fraudulent link on their app page stole credit card info
This app had what appeared to be a link to activate my account to get tickets on the bottom of the app page. It brought me to an account activation link. My bad, but after entering my card for what I thought would let me buy tickets. It said my card was invalid. I thought this was strange. Did more research and saw it was the wrong app. That night I had a fraudulent charge on that card and had to cancel the card. The link stole my credit card info. They should not allow fake links that appear to be part of their app function on their ads.
No longer a good app
Once a decent app. Now there superior options that also happen to be free.

1 hour into 4 hours
Was supposed to take 1:01 from Huntington into Jamaica- 45 minutes. Turns out the app was wrong, next train to Jamaica isn’t until 2:07. What the conductor failed to mention was that the train was actually to Hicksville, with a transfer to Babylon, and finally another transfer to a local train from Babylon to Jamaica- over an hour. Arrived in Jamaica at 3:30. My commute is only half finished with an hour long subway ride into Brooklyn from Jamaica in front of me. Had I known there were no trains between Hicksville and Jamaica, you know, if the app had been half accurate- I would have stayed home.
