Sorting my expenses spend
It’s a simple app and is working well with my accountant. I cannot recommend this app enough for linking in real time my spend with my accountant book keeping.

Dext like QBO needs to face reality
Neither of these apps has a category for REFUNDS. But returns and the refunds for them are a fact of life. So developers of both apps need to wake up and provide for these facts.
Incorrect coding
When I put certain receipts through the app they are continually posted to the wrong account code even though I have set the specific account code to that supplier Very annoying!!
Scraping monies back.
Manages to read our receipts well enough, and also uploads.. Just cannot understand why accounts keeps on re-asking for the uploads to be re submitted, I know they have already been submitted as it’s tells me ready.., so assuming their access must delete the storage once reconciled!?! Who knows? Perhaps put a double trigger on it so don’t need to keep uploading, my previous receipts..
Terrible if not VAT registered and with QB
Thought this was a great idea so scanned a load of receipt and invoices. All came up for review and kept telling me I had to set the VAT rate but absolutely no instructions and after two hours of navigating this app and Quickbooks I’ve given up.

It’s excellent and quick to record, and it accurately captures invoices. It’s comparatively more expensive than other similar products on the market. Overall, we are happy and have been using it for more than five years
Used to be good
Used to be really good lately the apps been glitchy will be on one invoice then will flick to a different one very frustrating when it publishes or deletes the wrong invoice when this happens. Today uploaded a few invoice and more than half disappeared from exporting page and cant find where they went.

Doesn’t work and no support
Uploaded a receipt and it doesn’t let you categorise. Says “Go to connections>” but there isn’t a connections option. When you go to ask for help, there is no option to open up a dialogue. Poorly constructed, poorly run.

Great app for recording receipts, links to QuickBooks generally, although don’t always sinc fully

There’s no way to upload documents to the app. The Help functionality is useless.
Sage accounts and Dext
Please please sort out the issue between Dext and Sage Accounts with customers being able to view the attached pdf version of our scanned invoice wold be exceptional if this side of Dext worked we had no problem with auto entry or in the old version of Sage accounts just when we upgraded Sage accounts
Unreliable
Often fails to save or upload receipts. Possibly because it takes a while to send to the cloud and we lock our phone, but surely that’s something they can manage and reload next time the phone is opened.
Used to be a great app
This app has gotten extremely expensive and now waiting for the receipts to upload so you can import to Xero can sometimes take 24hrs! Such a waste of time
Works great & always improving features
I was put onto Dext by my accountant to make my bookkeeping easier. It always performs well & is easy to use. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Not reliable
Keeps disconnecting from my Sage 50. Have to connect nearly everyday. Wasting time

Not sure what happened with the name change to ✨Dext✨ rather than Receipt Bank which actually made sense. Anyhoo, it’s a great app.
Great app in concept but a big issue with missing receipts
I’ve been using Dext for years and noticed the odd receipt not appearing into Xero. I believe this is to do with no internet - surely this could be stored in The app and saved later?!…
Slow & lagging more than a year ago
Slow & lagging more than a year ago. Not a big deal, just have to wait more than five seconds for the app to wake up.

Great app, dumb name
Not sure what genius came up with the mind blowing idea to rename Receipt Bank (Bit dull sure, but made sense) to.......🌟Dext 🌟 But wow, I hate it. If you can bring yourself to download something that sounds like a learning game for toddlers, it is in fact brilliant receipt lodging software.

For the high cost, we find image capture to be substandard.
Life changing!
I’ve been using this app for about three years now to do the accounts for my small business, paired with Xero it is an absolute game changer, so easy to use, no more filing masses of invoices every year and my bank reconciliation takes minutes where it used to take hours.
Complicated
Over complicated made difficult to use by unnecessary updates and logging on very hard work !
Accurate results but slow
Happy with this app but it takes like 5 minutes to read big invoice and link to quickbooks is not working. Please try to fix this problem

Why do I have to close app and reopen with every receipt? Prefer ReceiptBank.
Need to be allowed to manually adjust taxes
Ap does not allow you to adjust the taxes Should show GST and PST and then allow you to manually enter an amount . Very annoying when it doesn’t pull the right numbers and won’t let you change it.
Makes life easy
Having the Dext app to immediately feed receipts into my accountancy software makes the chaos of my expenditure that much easier
Sadly lacking
Dext doesn’t load every receipt to the cloud, it often deletes receipts and this makes reconciliation almost impossible. Very disappointing and inconsistent platform
Reporting
I love the front end of this app! The backs end and the reporting isn’t as friendly as I think it could be.
Weird
Why rebrand to Impact font? Why take your purpose out of your name? What does Dext even mean? And why does an app icon need to also say the same thing as the name of the app right below it?

Good app when it works, but has been constantly logging me out lately with errors which is frustrating

Frustrating
Really hard to use. So unintuitive to add receipts, they don’t save straight away and each month I got told off for not attaching receipts to expenses when I have, the approved just can’t see/find them.
New version category search didn’t work
Category search, perhaps one of the most important aspects of the mobile app, no longer works in new version. Previous version would search any part of the string. New version only the first word which is unsatisfactory.
