Cant Upload PDF on Mobile App
Requesting this feature for years but yet to be added :(. I always have to go to laptop to add pdf for my expenses

The only thing that I miss is not being able to add your own categories!
Can’t use local pdf
It doesn’t seem possible to create an expense with a local pdf. It only allows me to take a picture or to select an image. AI Email support that doesn’t say it’s AI also annoys me.

Magic Code
Was great until they introduced “Magic Code”. With Magic Code, you continuously have to go to your email to get a code number to login. In my opinion, a non-value added hassle.
Dates for selectable
Dates selection dial shows blank after the recent update, making it double work to submit expenses.

Nightmare!!!! V 8.0.0
For the expense: With the update a German user with a German keyboard cannot type in the right amount of money, if this contains any ct values, because of the comma instead of the point for the English keyboard! Extra work to save the right full € or $ or £ amount and correct the ct or pc amount manually afterwards! In the former Version it was possible to choose the report directly where I would like to add the new expense. Now I have to click first for more option, then on the report button! Extra work😬 I don’t need a large field of view for my captured receipts! This view I have when I take the image! But I want to have all fields visible and these in a size where I don’t have to use the magnifier or my glasses! This update is a big step backwards! Please change very soon to the older or any much more comfortable version!!!! Thanks
It keeps showing uploading message
I am trying to create a new expense it keeps saying uploading and strangely giving message you are offline

Can’t change miles to km. Miles setting is fixed and can’t be changed as it seems.

Avoid completely as they are scamming customers
You will be automatically moved to a group subscription from an individual and they will start charging you 30 AUD from 7 AUD and you will be locked in for 1 year. They will also refuse to resolve the issue and force you to pay. I would stay away.
Add expense under report
Under report, we cannot add expense manually. We used to me able to do it.
Crashes and freezes since last couple of updates
I’m not sure since when but at least with the latest app update the app tends to freeze and crash when editing expenses. This happens a lot when editing the currency and the amount. It also happens when modifying other parts of an expense. Furthermore it can randomly happen when using the app.

Great expense app which can improve more
I've been using expensify for over two years now and it works really well. I've seen it evolve and improve and one of my favourite feature is it's ability to integrate with other services like Uber. What stops me from giving 5 stars is that the app will accumulate "stuffs" that IOS is now reporting its using 1.1GB of space on my phone. There doesn't seem to be a way to clear it. I guess it's time to delete and re-install.
How to pay for this apps
Well, i have try this app for 7 days and very happy with it functions, however after seven days is a nightmare. First it simple submit my report and i can’t make any changes because the smartscan is doing it job, and when it end, the app take submit as and when it like!! This is totally stupid. From a great app become stupid app. Also i have been trying to find way purchase this app but i have no way to buy it. Do advise how disable the auto submit function and how to get a pay copy.
App und Webseite bestens integriert und sehr effizient
Ich benutze die App, um möglichst einfach eine übersichtliche Abrechnung zu machen. Besondere Features wie Workflow oder Policies brauche ich nicht. Mit fehlt ein Foto Batch Import auf dem iPhone. Sonst ist alles bestens.
Can’t change the approver
I accidentally choose a approver in the beginning. Can’t change it anymore.
Correction to date format
I would like to be able to change the date format to standard day/ month/ year rather than month first
Decent, could improve
I've been a long time user and rely on the app a lot. The usability could be improved; for eg, I cannot take pictures of receipts from within a report.
Updates
What is the difference for Car Service and Taxi - Taxi and Car Service. I created a report and I have to amend it. Also why not do the upgrade beginning of the month instead of end of the month? Terrible

I once stopped using Expensify because it was very tough and tedious to update transactions on a blackberry platform, and now they have updated iOS version:) Love the receipt scanner function, really simple and intuition. Though, i wish that there could be higher accuracy rate of auto-data entry after scanning the receipts. Ie, i was scanning a pile of old receipts, but the date captured is the day i captured the photo not the transaction date, hope that there will be an improvement on that :)

Using 3.12 but crashes happened. Update to 3.13, but still crash when tried to delete the report. Please fix it

This is one product that seems to get steadily worse with every iteration - loved it when I first used it, now it is getting harder not easier to use

Poor improvement to the interface
It takes one more click just to add an expense
Almost perfect
Just take a picture of your expenses and this program does the rest, it recognizes the date, merchandise and price etc. It organizes everything in a pdf. And you can send it out great work. The only thing what could improve or maybe I didn't find the option yet is to crop the pictures of your receipt. Any very well done. Makes life easier.
Smartscan
It was stated that basic users get 10 free smart scans per month , however I've been using for over a year , and I am only left with 2 smartscans. The smartscan functionality is a neat feature as it does all the work, instead of typing. However the failure to update the stated 10 free smart scans per month for basic users , is just not right . It's not as promised.
Not for Germany
The idea of this application is great, but it makes sense only for US customers. Please add support for german/european banks and credit cards. I'd love to use expensify!

Für die Eingabe des Euro-Betrages wird ein Punkt benötigt = z.B. 5.00€ und kein Komma. Die Eingabe wird mit Komma nicht akzeptiert, bzw. ergibt einen falschen Wert.

From having to paste receipts, scan, save, upload and then fight with Open ERP to tag and report every single one of them - Expensify is a dream come true for a sales guy in a not Enterprise environment. Love it!
