There is no option to open buy sell on the chart screen itself making it convenient to trade, instead it takes you to the home page. Also, this transition is a bit slow for high frequency trading.
Multiple App Failures
If you are a beginner and are looking to learn how to invest, and need practice, I would highly recommend using the demo tool provided by Plus500. However, when I tried to switch from a demo account to real money, despite having provided identification and verified bank accounts, the action kept failing with no reasons given. I.e. I would attempt to transfer funds from my bank account into my Plus500 account, and each time I would simply be told to “Try Again Later”. Thinking it was simply an error on my mobile device, I tried on my laptop instead, but was then told that the platform is going through “routine maintenance” and that I should try again later, and was then subsequently logged out of my account, and am still unable to access it. Though I have now personally deleted Plus500, this still poses a massive issue to other uses, because if the same thing happens to someone else, except they already have funds or investments in the app that they cannot access while the platform is undergoing “routine maintenance”, it could have detrimental consequences. I would recommend rather using Luno for stock trading, as they offer a minimum deposit of only R50 as opposed to Plus500’s limit of R750.

I was happy with the app before but not as much now. The options leverages are always trimmed to 2X instead of 5X before the market closes or when they anticipate a market shift. The investment section doesn’t have many stocks on the platform also.

My plus’s 500 experience
When I first got the app I was spectacle but now I have a deeper understanding of it it’s a extremely good app/ website the hud is clear and simple there’s a demo mode and lots of tools and support there deposits and withdrawals and short and simple and they have ai analytics to help you make a good decision the customer service is great I had a conversation with a employee named llia and they had fast and easy to understand responses they were polite and helpful I would definitely recommend this app to anyone who is interested in investing
Think twice
⚠️ Think twice before holding CFDs long term My experience with Plus500 has taught me an expensive lesson. Around two years ago I opened a Tesla position equivalent to about 3.5 shares at ~$176 each. Tesla subsequently rose to around $369 per share. However, over the period I held the position, approximately £450 was deducted in charges. I accept that this was a CFD, rather than direct ownership of Tesla shares. My concern is the extent to which the ongoing financing charges accumulated while I held what I regarded as a long-term investment. I have raised this with Plus500. To date, they have not offered any refund or compensation; their response has essentially been that the position was a CFD and therefore the charges applied. That may be contractually correct, but my experience highlights something I think potential customers need to understand very clearly: a CFD is not the same as owning the underlying shares, and holding one for years can result in substantial ongoing charges. If you’re investing for 5–10 years, read and understand the financing charges before using Plus500 CFDs. I personally wouldn’t use a CFD for a long-term investment again. I’m sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before putting their money in.

I have been using the app for few years Even I lost the money because of less trading experience but apps seems legit. But sometime chart and data doesn’t match with other reputable companies or probably it’s lagging behind
Zero communication
Do not be fooled by the demo version of this app. It works great until you actually decide to put your real money in. I have been waiting for over 3 days now just to get my account verified. The support team is ghosting my emails, and all I ever get is a canned response telling me to check the app, which just shows a 'review in progress' pop-up. I am totally stuck in a weird limbo with zero human communication. Honestly, you should save yourself all the trouble and just stay away from this platform right now. It is incredibly frustrating to see my funds sitting there while I am unable to do anything. Why is it so hard to get a real answer? This is a bad experience for me! Give it back now!!!

I have had an extremely disappointing experience with Plus500. The platform may look simple and professional, but my experience with the company has been frustrating from start to finish. The customer service is extremely disappointing, and getting clear and helpful answers when you have an issue feels unnecessarily difficult. The account verification and review process has also been stressful and, in my opinion, far too complicated. What I find most frustrating is the lack of transparency and the feeling that the customer is not being properly supported when problems arise. When you are dealing with your own money, you expect a financial platform to provide clear communication, reliable support, and a straightforward experience. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Plus500 to anyone looking for a platform where they feel properly supported and valued as a customer. Very disappointing experience. I expected much better from a company of this size.

I’m a new to this trading thing, and still learning. The app has a great practice platform, I suggest using it significantly before you start to use your money. Plus500 is good for short term investing, ETF stocks like gas and index trading where the market is volatile, however, if you’re looking to do long term investments I would recommend another platform. Plus500 have an “Overnight funding” which is a fancy way of taking a cut of your investment each day you hold it. This essentially eats into your margin, and if you’re investing large amounts, this can be a considerable sum they take from you for their “services”. I’ll be looking to go elsewhere for this reason. Plus 500 restricted my withdrawal
Plus 500 team asking me to provide something my bank don’t provide. I had to replace my debit card because it was faded and couldn’t upload photo of it. Plus 500 team asked for card statement that Nat west don’t provide. After providing bank statement with clearly indicating from each account and when it was transferred to plus 500 it is still not enough for account verification.

Guys I have used this app for a month now ! Started with 3000 ZAR and managed to make a profit too . Yesterday I requested for a withdrawal and got my money within few hours . Honestly I had my doubts too but seems like this is legit . Only thing I hate is their verification requirements….too much things.

Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto di questo programma che ci offriva 25 euro per iniziare. Sfortunatamente, un mio amico ha visto sparire misteriosamente oltre 50 euro due mesi dopo. Del denaro guadagnato non rimase traccia. E oggi mi succede la stessa cosa. Per me tutto si riduce ad una parola: volo. Se ci offri questi 25 euro, dovrai restituirne il doppio in pochi mesi, non ne vale la pena! Ad essere sincero, sono indignato. Dovrebbe essere evitato, soprattutto se sta ricevendo una falsa gioia.
