I have been using The National Lottery (ALLWYN) app for a few years now, and I have found the new update and app improvements earlier this year 2026 easy to use. I think there should be a privacy feature that hides the amount of money that is in your National Lottery account. Like an eye lid my banking app has that feature.

The app refuses to let me update my card details so I can no longer play online.

Not as good as Camelot
Okay app, but room for improvement
While the application is functional, it requires refinement. Core features, such as updating contact details, currently generate system errors. Additionally, win notification emails should specify prize amounts under £100 directly to prevent users from unnecessarily opening the app for nominal winnings.
I keep losing
The app looks well designed and is great, but I’ve played at least 3 times now and haven’t won a dime. I was hoping for that £111M win but I just keep losing.

What’s the point of an app with a results scanner that can’t read the qr code

It’s ok but the instant wins are 100% rigged the amount of times I’ve needed 1 more for a big win with many spins or something left and I will just start to get nothing 100% rigged should be ashamed

Annoying
Given up using it when played I get “we detected you are out of the uk Quite a lot blocking me in same aspects I’m Uk based No VPN used and have to resort to using other devices like mobile phone to place my lottery then useless updates can’t sign in after emails saying I won a prize, always were closed for the night or maintenance ect, miss the old version much easier to use plus in all fairness I’m tired of registering my card details to be running around the house to find the debit card for CSV validation every time on old app was easy to sign in place the money into account and play a game…much better than this new version the old version app was Usually these days I just pop the shop and put lottery numbers on Please fix these issues Also when favourite numbers saved it automatically added more lines to bunk up the cost of the ticket but lottery state play awareness on site which I’m starting to see more of a contradiction to this app than before
No access when away
Only able to access app when in my house totally unacceptable. Have tried update and reinstall help

Don’t seem to to win more than the price of the card back. Pretty poor..👎.
APP DOES NOT WORK
App literally hasn’t worked for me for weeks now. Just keeps saying check connection when my connection is fine. Needs serious fixing it’s unusable since the update

I’ve tried and tried to deposit money in to my account but there is always an error. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app to no avail. It’s like you don’t want me to spend my money national lottery. 😕
Frustrating session timeout
Please extend the sign in session timeout, it’s far far too short. The App is already on a phone that needs my biometric login, this App also uses it. I can say with most confidence that no one is going to log into my phone and National Lottery App and surreptitiously put a draw on for me!! Thanks
Instant games
These games are absolutely pointless, it’s continuous teasing and you never win, literally, deal or no deal for example. You will have one blue left, eight red, obviously it’s ending with your box or the other box being the blue every time regardless what you choose, nonsense robbery scamming rats
Security Question
Answers chosen for this shouldn’t need a space! It’s a name or word only!!
No access
After many years of use, all of a sudden keeps telling me “something went wrong check your connection” on mobile data or WiFi I get the same result. Briefly worked after deleting and reinstalling the app. Now the error is back again
Log in problem
Every now and then when there’s an update or like now when I’ve had a new phone constant log in issues. Not recognising email or password. Funny thing is if I go online I’m able to.
Prizes are shocking
You’re either winning a million or £5. We all know the odds! At least put in some medium prizes! 50k 100k? 20k? But 1 million or £5 how way! So basically it’s £5 or nothing. Terrible games.
WTF
I can’t even add funds to my account now. Won’t let me update my new cards details, something about need to complete previous transaction even though I never started a new transaction. Bring back Camelot at least things used to work with them.
