Great App
Helped me train for a 10k no problems
unreliable
i have used this app for about 10 years on and off. it is a great training app however there have been difficulties over the years. when i first signed up for the app, i was charged one time charge for all plans …somehow over time that got lost …and since then i have paid monthly. i have issues nearly every time i update my phone operating system or the app. this time was the straw, the app didnt allow me to sign in under any circumstance including trying to set up new account, new password, apple id …nothing worked. i contacted support but they never reply quickly…it is extremely annoying when you wake up at 4 am to run, get ready, get outside and then the app fails and you fight with it for over 1 hour …not a good start to the day …

For some reason the screen doesn't scroll on this app so I can't access the pause and end run buttons. It also shuts of automatically sometime and I can't mark the exercise as complete. Really good exercises tho

I found this app built my stamina to 1/2 marathon at a very manageable pace

After the app asking to fill out my information and it stays there, no button for next or continue. Did you design this for sole purpose of taking people’s information only?
Question
So far it has got me running which I haven’t done in about 15 years. I would love to see more details on the features (keys), recommended days to do each lesson (as per websites first few weeks)
Good when it works
App is good when it works, however seems to glitch a lot and just come out of the run/stop recording half way through the run. Rather poor when you have paid nearly £40 for the privilege.
Mooie app, maar soms frustrerend bij pauzes
Leuke en simpele app om mee te hardlopen, maar als je te lang pauzeert (bijv. om je veters te strikken) wordt je hele run gereset.

Easiest things to use for running. Also has great running lessons. I definitely recommend! It’s a great app to help get back in shape!
Pausing runs doesn’t work
Pausing a run to take a phone call or check another app has been losing my run progress. The same as every other running app except they expect you to pay for it

App restarts
If you pause the workout and coke out of the app, but don’t close it, to say answer a phone call it will restart your progress. Don’t recommend. Stay away from this app

Great for Physical Therapy to Reintroduce Running
I love the versatility of this app! As others have said, it gives you audio notifications (as you listen to your own music) as to the next step in your running training program. It’s very similar to an app I’ve in the past with one big, amazing exception... I broke my ankle 4 months ago and have finally been cleared by my physical therapist to start a walk-jog program as I get back into running. Each week I am supposed to increase the time I jog and decrease the time I walk, similar to any C25k program, only at a much, much slower progression. I love the fact that this app allows me to create running programs at the exact intervals recommended by my physical therapist. I can save each program and title them individually, which is both convenient and so helpful in my recovery. When I had asked my physical therapist beforehand if an app such as this existed, she said she didn’t know. I hope RunTrainer makes their app known to more physical therapy professionals so they can better support their patients. My only negative critique, similar to what others have mentioned, is that I’m not sure how accurate the GPS/mileage is (or kilometers—they have both units of measure). When I first played around with the app, from the comfort of my own couch, it measured that I had moved 0.1 miles during that time, when clearly I hadn’t moved much at all. I’m not sure how accurate my actual jogging mileage has been without a second device to compare. This isn’t a big deal to me, as I’m just trying to start running for longer time intervals. But this may be a very big deal to other, more serious runners. All in all, a game changer for me. Thank you!

Locatie niet vinden.
Runtrainer vindt m’n locatie heel vaak niet waardoor ik de training niet kan starten. Sta nu al 30 min bij het begin van m’n route te wachten tot het plingetje om eindelijk te kunnen starten!!

Overall liked the app until on two separate sessions nothing about my run was tracked/recorded. Not a reliable app.

Didn’t save my run
Great app but it didn’t save my run and I don’t understand why because it prompted me during the run.
It was good
I liked it until it said it’s limited access after only two runs! What the heck guys?
It got me running
Without it I mostly walked around the running track and when I did try it was painful. Now it tells me when to run and when to walk and after 3 weeks I’m enjoying running and I have improved my running greatly.
Does not work with Apple Watch
App is to glitchy with Apple Watch to be worth anything. Starts and stops without any prop and deletes half my run.

New update
I use this app all the time and have done for two years. I haven’t been able to log on since the new update two days ago. I tried to go into app support and it said that it could be compromised. Please sort the problem out. I love this app
Great
I don’t like to run so I didn’t know where to start. This app has made my journey into running much easier then I thought it could be. My goal is to be able to run 5km. I feel that I can achieve it now .
Can’t cancel
Don’t download this and pay for a subscription unless you want to be locked in forever. Cancelling is like signing a new bill into congress.

Ok I suppose
Was going good until I updated the software on my phone and lost my information and locked me out if my account. I will have to pay again to get back it to the levels which is totally wrong!!!
Good enough training but...
I used this app to get from 0-5k. Training was well planned and I managed the 10 week plan with no problems. At the time, it cost me around £2.99 for the full 10 week plan. This has now changed, and if I want to continue onto the 5-10k, I'll need to sign up with a subscription for £5.49 A MONTH! This is far too expensive, I have no idea why they've done this. I don't need pro features, I just want the training plan. Really disappointed.

Crashed after I upgraded
I loved the first training run so much I upgraded. After I paid, my app crashed. No upgrade. Can't even login. No answer to my emails to support desk.

Love the app! I just wish the bugs were fixed! Buttons show more text then room on them, so it is hard to navigate in app features. Also, not all content is in English. Adds to difficulty with navigation! Overall the app is easy to use once set up!
What's going on???
The length of the run has disappeared and there is a DASH - in front of everything this needs looking at by the developers ASAP. Having trouble loading GPS aswell since the changes :-(((
It has potential
This is a great App that is helping me increase my endurance. It has a few bugs and so far, my requests for help have gone unanswered. It would be extra great if it integrated with Fitbit and MyFitnessPal :)
Flexibility
I love the fact that you could either do one of the programs in the app or you could create your own program within the app. It allows for flexibility.
Used to work
This app used to work. I paid and used it for about a year. Now it's stopped working and text is written over text so I can't see what it says. It also, cuts our, stops working and i had all my info stored for a year and it isn't there any more. I tried downloading it again and that didn't work either. I have had no luck getting in contact with the company either. This used to be my favorite app. I hope it is fixed and that I get what I paid for back.

The voice commands often don't work. Generally, its good.

I agree with the previous comment, I used to really like this app but since the update you can't see the length of run before you start. I too have gone off it since the new update.
Running part good, music add on bad
If you're just using this to run it's a great app but I loaded music onto it to run with and I have tons of problems with my playlist - will say it's not there until I add another song then they all pop up? Super annoying. But the run portion is good.

Could be an absolutely brilliant app, but crashes on the 30 min runs and playlists can only be added once run has started.
Maybe an update
I like this app for its easy use. I purchased the whole pkg hoping it was a little better then the freebie. Wishing these could be part of an update. My music list won't save. Before every run I have to add music to the list again...., have an option to just have your coach say run/ walk. I would rather not know how long I need to run. Makes time go quicker. Finally have it continue to track your distance progress etc. even though you may be done. Even though I'm don't the training chances are I am not home yet and would like to see it an sync in my statistics. Please think I these when you do updates. :) other then those great :)
