Not Happy
After years and years of being with American Express I found Customer Services really robotic they do not listen anymore to your concerns. I made a complaint and it wasn’t appeal. I understand the outcome but they have no human feelings so I have paid my full amount off for the last time I will not be using my American Express card from now on I’m looking for a new card. Not a very happy customer I doubt if you read this or contact me for a reason why but I thought for the first time I would write a review

Paying my Amex balance
Would be useful if app remembers your payment details automatically instead of scrolling through a list of banks. I just want to see my details. If I wish to add another payment card then I can add and delete as required.
iPad Specific App
About time you made an iPad specific app - BarclayCard and Lloyds Bank managed it why can't Amex?

Took my money twice
Amex took my money twice and promised that the overpayment would be reimbursed to my bank. To date, it is still not resolved and no one seems concerned about the error because they think it was my fault. The two transactions were taken within one minute of each other making it impossible for me to be the problem
Benefits
It seems we are loosing more and more benefits such as Lufthansa lounge access when are we going to get the same as the US

Infinity loop of errors and being passed to an IVR. Off shore call centre and dropped calls. Thank you for choosing American Express!
Poor to update and now doesn’t event show balance
Very slow to update balance and payments paid - sure it’s not correct. Recently update isn’t even showing the balance on the account anymore - shame the app lets down such a well known brand.

This Amex card with British Airways is so good Avois points and the app is so easy to use understand and if you have a problem customer services first class
Rubbish customer service
I have received numerous requests to verify my birthday, my father’s birthday, my salary and photo id, despite phone calls to customer service I am still being pestered with these requests.

Credit limit Decrease
I have an issue with just changing credit limit without prior notice when you have never defaulted a payment it doesn’t make any sense
