I understand the need for ads There is no reason to make getting out of the ads so difficult. It’s unfair and annoying.
Ads suck
The game is great. Exactly how I have organized the solutions from day-1. The advertising delays blow. The last long and difficult to X out of. I always resort to restarting the program instantly.
Features lacking
I wish it had auto error checking, an option to have all available numerical options auto added or removed for personal preference like a major other company uses that starts with NY. For harder levels this is really useful to cut past the mindless work and get to solving in less time.

The Guess
Although I had many hours of enjoyable brain teasing! At 78 years old I can still complete Hard level in under 30minutes. Keeps my brain healthy. However now it has become a guess the next number.
Color
If you could get rid of the green and go back to the blue color when selecting a number that would be great. The green is hard on the eye.

Suduko going backwards
This game generally works well. But it used to show numbers entered by user in blue to distinguish them from starting numbers in black. Makes it harder to fix mistakes.

Used to be fun - not anymore
The ads pop up numerous times in one game. I didn’t mind to pre snd post but constant interruptions is a no go. Time to delete!
Best app, with a glaring issue
This is by far the best sudoku app out there, both in interface AND in challenge (most apps don’t have enough challenging puzzles). The one glaring issue is that I will absolutely 100% NEVER pay a yearly subscription for an app. If this was a flat $10-$15 fee I’d absolutely pay it. Yearly subscription? Never. And it’s almost enough to make me delete the app and use a different one.
Frustrating Mistakes! Endless Commercials!!
So many of the games are unsolvable; you would think that would have tested all the games!

Have played and enjoyed this game for years. Prior glitches were always fixed and it just kept chugging along. Never went for the paid prescription, and didn’t mind the ads that popped up after every round. The developer deserved to make money somehow. But now all of a sudden, an ad pops up after every second move or so. Thought maybe it was just a weird glitch so kept playing for a while. But that seems to be the price of the ad supported version now. Not for me. If the developer was hoping that would encourage me to buy a paid subscription, they were wrong. I deleted it.

New version has problems
On my iPad, depending on how the window is sized, the “9” button doesn’t work! Resizing the window to get a different layout of the number buttons gets it back, but there are window sizes where the “9” doesn’t work (maybe others, don’t know)
Don’t like update
Since updating, all the numbers are black. In the original version the given numbers were in black, but the ones you typed in were in blue. Now they are all black. If I have to back track, it makes it easier to see where I started.
One suggestion
I’ve had this app for years and have racked up over 172 hour of gameplay. It’s simple but keeps you coming back. I just wish it was a one time payment to get rid of ads instead of an annual subscription. I would gladly pay $15 once given how much I use the app. I guess everything is a scheme to get money out of you perpetually nowadays.
It was good, but recent updates have made it worse
They changed the highlight color to a color that colorblind people can’t easily see on the gray background areas. Also, they added way too many ads. Just completed your hard puzzle? No celebration screen, just another immediate full screen unskippable ad. 👎
Good game with one bug
The board is clear to play without distractions. It’s the version I like to play the most. A bug in the game is that when you press reset the board clears but you can’t use any numbers that were on the board before the reset which makes the reset useless. You just need to press the back button and start a new game.

It’s “classic” sudoku for me
I have newer switched to the paid-membership-customize-everything model, thanks to reviews. I purchased the game once to not see the adds and happily playing since then. It has everything i need: the right amount of color, adding “draft” numbers, logically solvable puzzles, etc. I always playing “hard.” somehow “expert” often gets me in a dead end situations where I have to guess and then calculate my future steps to see if it’s a pass forward or wrong guess The latest update - all the squares now have the same color numbers. There are no way to set apart an initial set of numbers from the “solved” numbers. No way to trace your steps back if you need to analyze your mistake
New color scheme is bad

Sudoku and Solitaire on iPhone
Sudoku: I really like this implementation of Sudoku on both the iPad and iPhone better than any of the others on the market. Solitaire: I want to notify the developers of Solitaire on the iPhone that their last release has only 51 cards, making it impossible to win. I wish I didn’t have to click through “what’s new” every time I come back to the game. New version: Glad to see it is so much like the old version. The only thing I miss is that when you place a value, it is not a different color from the values that were initially supplied by the app. That was really helpful in the old version. Otherwise, the new version is great.
Paying to remove apps still doesn’t remove apps.
The app itself is simple, straightforward and easy. However, the ads. For a straightforward sudoku game, the ads are a little ridiculous. I even paid the £6.99 fee for a year of no adverts - yet I STILL get adverts! I have to restore the purchase every time I open the app otherwise the adverts are still there which shouldn’t be happening.
Was 5 stars but don’t like the changes
The new green is way too hard on the eyes. It needs to be darker like it was before. Also I’m not a fan of the new font. The button changes are fine and so are the interface changes. Both are fine but not better. New colors definitely worse. Please consider changing the font colors back.

Sudoku is a challenging game and a lot of fun. It will help keep your mind sharp. Very enjoyable.
Update spoiled the game
I used to use this app because it offered a good challenge but an update on Ipad ruined the experience: the numbers you add yourself use the same black color as the given starting numbers.

Too Many Ads
Like the game. Too many ads for other games that go on too long and are on too often
Random ad pop ups spoil
More recent versions have started random ad pop ups in middle of games or launching App Store. Spoils an otherwise good app. Would pay for it if cost was sensible to remove ads.
Forced update
Forced update made sudoku worse. The graphics are far worse than before and the highlighted numbers use color which is difficult to see.
Can’t get past the add/payment screen to even play
Your ads are so pervasive I can’t even play the game at all, it literally will not let me close the app to play because of your holiday ad screen upon loading
Excellent app now ruined by ads
This is a very good sudoku game that I’ve enjoyed for a long time. Don’t mind short ads but now has ads like Royal Kingdom that are impossible to get rid of other than by leaving the app completely. I shall soon be looking for a different app.

Usual thing where there used to be NO ads they are now after every game, difficult to get rid of and they cut over the music I’m listening to…..annoying but that’s the way most “free” games have gone….money/profit before anything !!!!!!
Good game, shame about the adverts
I’ve played this for a number of years and it is a brilliant game but lately the ads at the end of each game are getting really annoying. They lock your screen so you have to wait while they go through their blurb and then once that’s finished there’s another pause before you can clear the screen to play again. I still enjoy the game but I’m annoyed that a game that was once free and good fun to use is now frustrating.
