Playing gives me a chance to think and use the brain l have. It is FUN!

It’s almost impossible to play a second game because the ad(s) for Mah Jung can’t be closed or swiped away or even removed by turning off the phone entirely I love this game but the impossibility of bypassing the ads defeats me. Solitaire also suffers but not. To the same extent It’s time for this game to protest loudly to the App Store to fix this fast and permanently

Too many ads, including “fake” ads with lousy products.
I enjoy playing g this game, but they have extremely long ads between games, and many of the ads are fake. Many purport to be from Nordstrom, but are actually selling schlocky, low quality Chinese knockoffs. This app needs to get rid of these particular fraudulent ads and to eliminate the ads that last for several minutes between games.

I really like this game but find it very frustrating that the little icon that looks like a pen nib is actually the pencil and what looks like the pencil is the pen.
Excellent Classic ruined!
The app was recently re-designed to force user to try other games….with no way to repress the intrusion. You can play only a couple games before the offer appears. Be sure to have sound off! There is no way to exit from the screen or return to Sudoku. Was excellent before these changes Dreadfully annoying and disappointing. Searching for another Sudoku…..

For the longest time I’ve been playing this game. I took a little break and came back and noticed that there’s ads after every time I play. Not fun. This was my go to pass time game

Banner ads are fine. Pop ups after a game are fine. Random mid-game ads that interrupt game play are obnoxious and unacceptable.
Pop-up ads out of control
Lately there have been so many pop-up ads, really quick ones, one after the other, that make make the game horrible to play. I’m sure most people do it to relax, but now it’s just a frustrating experience that really takes the fun out of the game. Let us play the game, then have ads in between games. Hope it changes soon, might have to find another version. I really hope it can be fixed as I really like this one best. Please fix this! It is ridiculous! It seems to be fixed!! Thank you very much, so appreciated! Back to enjoying a relaxing uninterrupted game. WELL, the annoying and repetitive mud-game pop-up ads are back! Might be time to give up on this version, it was fixed for about a week. 😞 Update August 2026, enjoyed a long time without the annoying mid game pop-up add, now they are back! See you again when they’re gone

Had this app for approximately a decade. Used it to shut my mind off before bed. Yesterday it started with pop up ads. I have no idea what were on these ads just that they completely ruined the whole point of playing the game. Deleted the app within 24 hours of this change. Just charge for it, because now it is useless. May as well trash the whole app, I did.
Good game suss scoring
I find the game itself is excellent… but rating a game with up to 3 mistakes as “perfect “ … come on! Also don’t understand the ranking system.

I have used this app exclusively for the past several years and have loved it, but a couple of weeks ago it has started interrupting in the middle of the game with a flash ad that is there for about 2-3 seconds, then it disappears. It has been doing this repeatedly. If this is there way to force you to pay for their app, then I am out of here…
Until this week
It was the best one out there. Having the same ad experience as the other recent reviews. This past week, ads popping in the middle of game play. Sometimes flashes for a second sometimes for several seconds a video pops. Had to resort to playing on airplane mode.

I have played this game for years and loved it. Recently, ads are popping up blocking the screen. This game needs concentration, so that’s a real issue. I’ll be sad if I need to quit playing it.

Used to be a great gane
Way too many kinks. Ads will randomly start playing while in the middle of a game. Numbers you need suddenly disappear. Thank God this is free.

Love this and have been playing it for years. For the first time I am unable to play offline, really annoying as I usually turn to this when in the dead zones on my train journey. Can I override this somehow?

Every few seconds, a bit of an ad pop up for a second then disappears. It’s really annoying and headache inducing. I’ll tolerate the ad after every game (used to be ad-free!) but this is just not worth it.

Favourite sudoku app no longer works?
This app was my favourite and longest lasting - other apps have come and gone but this one stayed. Other sudoku apps were tried and discarded. And now it won't function. I get an alert saying I need a connection with the internet while my mobile data and wifi are working perfectly. This is sad.
After latest update
I didn’t need to be connected to the internet before, now I get message that looks like click bait, saying “NO INTERNET, Please connect to the internet and try again”
