Great way to develop new habits
This app is an effective way to develop and keep new habits. When I have the daily habit of looking at it/updating, and giving an honest answer about accomplishments or non-accomplishments without guilt or attachment, I find myself getting inspiration about how to accomplish my most important goals. I also have made progress on overcoming longstanding obstacles. It’s simple, but powerful application that has helped me greatly to take it to the next level.

Also benutze die App schon recht lange. Sehr übersichtlich. Und konfigurierbar. Meiner Meinung sollte man aber kostenlos auch mehr als 3 Einträge haben dann gucken diese Leute eben Werbung beim öffnen der zusätzlichen Inhalte oder so ähnlich. Nice design works well
I applaud any app these days which doesn’t overcomplicate simple but useful ideas - this is nicely designed. I especially like the reporting of the journal text fields so you can easily see a continuous narrative while you build a habit. The downside is more a rant about the modern phenomenon of renting, not owning. I’d happily pay the developer a fair, one-off sum to keep this app forever, but £30 *every* year? Seriously?! UPDATE thanks for reply. Still like the app but would have more sympathy with your POV if the app was usable on/synced with other platforms, at least an iPad …

Great app but…
I love this app, I’ve kept a journal of some important health related events, like taking medications, etc BUT, it would be great if it syncs between device automatically. Right now I can back up data to my Dropbox account or iCloud Drive, but then I would need to go to the other device and restore that back up to the device each and every time. It’s really annoying so I just use one device. Syncing services are so common today there shouldn’t be any reason that you can’t allow automatic syncing between devices. Otherwise, great simple app.
Back up your data
I had been using Way of Life daily for over four years to track all of my habits, including medications. I loved using the app and it worked great, until one day I downloaded an update and all of my data disappeared. I incorrectly believed that the data was linked to my account, when it actually is not linked to anything at all and needed to be manually backed up in order to be saved. I was super disappointed by this, as I lost many streaks of over 1000 days, as well as important medical information, because this information was not shared anywhere. I think it is a great app to use for habits if you’re willing to manually backed-up your data on a regular basis, but I will be switching to an app that actually stores the data in your account so you do not have to take this extra step.
Good App - Bad Pricing
I really like the app but at £30 a year this is ridiculous. Would be happy to pay up to £50 even for lifetime access but not allowing me to buy outright and stay forever locked into a subscription isn’t something I’m willing to do on principle alone especially for what is quite a simple app. I don’t require updates so why would I subscribe at such a high yearly price? Other well developed apps aren’t near this high of a price.

Needs a middle ground option
Great interface and very usable; only reason I'm cancelling my subscription is there is no "almost" option. I found say with avoiding sweets, as soon as I had 1 small chocolate I'm like "well, my day is red now, may as well have the whole block" (lol). I know this is an attitude problem on my part but if there was a way to have a bit of a threshold between "literally perfect" and "pretty good" that would suit me better. (I felt like I was cheating if I put it in green despite having a small amount of chocolate)
Free version is bad
With the free version of this app you can only add three habits max. It’s a great app but I have more then just three habits to track 😭
Great way to track a habit. Custom notifications!
Really just wanted positive custom reminders to pop up on my phone but the app has proved an addictive way to track and change positive habits too.

Ich hab mir die App 2015 oder so als voll Version gekauft. Heute wird mir in der App gesagt, dass ich die Vollversion nicht mehr habe und die bitte für 35€ kaufen soll. Ich habe mir damals bereits die lifetime Vollversion gekauft. Deshalb nur 1 Stern von mir.

Great app
Great app to stay on track
No customer support at all
I used to be a happy user of Way of Life and even paid for the premium version. However, after switching to a new phone, I discovered that I can no longer access the premium features I had paid for. I tried reaching out to Way of Life through multiple channels — email, social media — but received no response at all. It’s extremely frustrating that a product marketed as a one-time purchase does not actually carry over when you change devices. Even with my original email and account, there’s no clear way to restore access to what I paid for. What’s even more disappointing is the complete lack of customer support. It feels like there is no one behind the product. If you ever run into issues, you’re on your own. I would caution others before buying the premium version. Be aware that your purchase may only last as long as your current device. Sadly, the customer support is practically non-existent, which makes the whole experience very frustrating.
Best Habit Tracker I’ve tried.

Easy and effective
My ADHD often lends itself to me becoming obsessed with one method of tracking or organization before discarding it for the next. I haven’t really ever stuck with much for long. But I keep coming back to this app! It’s simple and straightforward. Well worth buying the pro version.

Fantastic app!
I have been using this app for years. It is useful, elegant, and flawless. It lets me adapt it for exactly the types of habits I am trying to maintain (or break!) and doesn’t come loaded down with a bunch of unnecessary junk. It has never glitched or had bugs. Would recommend it to anyone trying to form a daily habit or track how well they’re maintaining one. As an additional bonus, it provides graphs of how you’re doing over various periods of time that you can explore when you want. Again, a perfect app.
LOCKED OUT OF APP
I am locked out of my app 😡 and have zero way to get back in. I saw there was a password protection feature so I wanted to try it. It was asking me to put a pin password in on a numeric keypad. At first I put in a pin and I did put it in a second time to confirm it because I saw there was a faceID button and I preferred that over a pin. The app LET ME register FaceID WITHOUT registering a pin password, and under the password section I saw FaceID listed there with a toggle button to turn it on and off. Then I decided I didn’t like it and wanted to turn FACEID off so turned off the toggle button off for FaceID. I ASSUMED that this meant the password was off since I was allowed to register FACEID WITHOUT registering a pin. Now every time I open the app all I see is a keypad to put in my pin (which never existed in the first place). The pin I put in once is not working because I didn’t confirm it. There is also a FaceID button but this does not work since the toggle is off. I was allowed to register FaceID without registering a pin and now I am locked out of the app. DO NOT USE THEIR PASSWORD PROTECTION just use IOS 18’s FaceID. Now I have no idea how to get my information back and might lose over a years worth of data. The backups on my iCloud are from 2023.
Honestly indispensable
Ever since a friend turned me on to this app, it’s part of my daily routine to map my habits. It’s been so so transformative to do this and knowing when you’re doing well and maybe struggling over the years is extremely powerful personally. I love this app and hope to use many years to come. I gave it 4/5 just for one reason. It’s an improvement, not something that is bad per se. One thing is I’d like to monitor some habits that, when I don’t do them, it’s not a negative. I’d like these to just “add to the green” as opposed to adding grey to my overall. Another thing: it would be great to have integrations with exercise apps to bring in the fact that you’ve exercised without the need to tap it in. Tapping in everyday however is still so so easy and useful so this a nice to have that I think longer term can really power up the app. Thanks for the amazing work!

Good for habit building
I’ve started to like this app. It doesn’t nag much which is good but even seeing the red flag on the app icon is enough to remind you that there are things that need to be done.
