I had no issues with it. Using 1+ years. In addition the map has detailed road markings — better than Google Maps.
Non EU can't use the app
Only those with a DNI / NIE identification number can use the app. Very disappointing to find this out after downloading the app, registering for an account, creating a password, verifying my email, and all that. What a waste of my time.

Unfortunately pretty useless. It can’t be used to buy tickets if you’re a foreigner / tourist so it has zero advantage over Google maps, which is more user friendly. The English translation also isn’t great.

No abre la aplicación se queda en la pantalla de inicio y no pasa, solo ha pasado de la pantalla una vez y no ha podido dar datos de la tarjeta y tampoco las consultas. Reparen hasta ahora ha funcionado correctamente

You need a PhD to figure out how to change ticket types. And you still have to go to the machine since the app doesn’t work. Just brutal

Mit der App habe ich gerade erfolgreich ein Busticket für den öffentlichen Nahverkehr in Barcelona mit Apple Pay und ohne Anmeldung gekauft. Nach der Installation war es aber erst etwas seltsamer statt der eigentlichen Texte nur Platzhalter variablen angezeigt wurden. Der Kauf hat aber problemlos funktioniert. einfach im Bus zu dem kleinen Terminal neben dem Fahrer gehen und mit Apple Pay bezahlen.

La aplicación en si está bien, pero no se si es solo a mí que aparecen buses fantasmas, me pone que X bus llega en 5 minutos y al final llega 20 minutos después.

Seems the developers still did not fix this. Go on the upper left account/head icon, scroll down, go to the previous last link, something like settings, select English. Not sure how one can buy a ticket with this app. You cannot enter a German passport, it’s not accepted? Overall could be a nice app, but has several obstacles, not that easy to use.

Fails at scanning cards every single time
I want to be able to scan my tmobilitat anonymous cards (paper cards) and be able to recharge them. It fails every single time (ive tried with 5 different cards).

Seit dem letzten Update kann die App endlich ohne Login genutzt werden! Sehr gut! Mit ein bisschen Eingewöhnung lässt sich die App sehr gut nutzen und bietet alle notwendigen Informationen! Vielen Dank dafür! Ich würde mir noch mehr Informationen zu den Umstiegen an großen Metro-Stationen wünschen. Diese sind oft lang und selten barrierefrei. Eine Info dazu wäre schön!
Limited functionality & error prone
App can use a major overhaul to make it more useful. Reload feature very finicky
No text for other languages
If you don’t have Spain, Catalan or English as first language you see only the strings used for the languages. You have to find the setting, where you could change the language. If the smartphone hasn’t a valid language code, EN should be used by default.

Error de Lectura
Amb la penúltima actualització de l’app, fa uns 2 o 3 dies, a l’iniciar la lectura de la meva targeta T-mobilitat (perquè vull recarregar un altre títol) hi surt l’avís “Error de lectura. Retira la T-mobilitat i torna a apropar-la.” Al donar a “acceptar” per tancar la finestreta, tornar immediatament aquest avís. He de tancar per complet l’app i ara no puc fer-la servir per recarregar la T-Mobilitat.
First Review :)
Well done TMB for producing an app. First impressions - ok but tedious to log in. After selecting english language, I get email instructions in spanish (or Catalan?). Also where it says 'remember password' it should say 'forgot password?' No idea what I've registered for. Having said that I can find when the next bus is coming which is what everyone wants. So far so good :)

Can you leave older version funcioning for ios older than 17
Problematic log in
I had a capital letter in my email address and the app would throw an error because of it. Went crazy to fingere out what the issue was, please correct. Also, the app is “clumsy”, the UI should be revamped completely.

Doesn’t work anymore
If your region is outside of Spain it doesn’t even work anymore. Has it really been this way for four weeks?
Ottimo se vivi a Barcellona
Ottima app se vivi nella ciutat comtal e non hai ancora dimestichezza con le linee di trasporto pubblico, ottima la funzione ibus che ti dice quanto tempo manca perché passi una determinata linea a una determinata fermata (con il codiparada o un QRcode da scansionare)
Promised much
Downloaded for holiday but having registered and marked favourite routes it then fails to open every time I tried. Gave up and reverted to Google maps.
Für einfache Verbindungssuche
Die App ist gut geeignet für die Suche nach Verbindungen. Leider gibt es keine Linienpläne (graphisch). Der Ticketkauf ist zu kompliziert, da erst eine Anmeldung notwendig ist, Zahlungsart Apple Pay fehlt auch. Die Metrostationen sind nicht alle barrierefrei, Hinweise dazu in der App fehlen.
Worked perfectly
I just used this for 5 days in June and was very impressed; like I said it worked perfectly. I would be somewhere, type in either a point of interest or a train station and was given nearly instant perfect directions. It works for the trains or the buses and actually gives you the walking directions to the train station or bus stop you need to start from. It got to the point where my family and I would go to use it and say "okay, it's going to fail us this time" but that never happened. Highly recommended.

Utilissimo, ma non perfetto...
Davvero utile se non si conoscono le linee degli autobus. Ti crea il percorso "real time" in funzione delle linee attive al momento in cui lo digitate. Un limite: potete digitare solo i nomi delle vie (meglio un'unica parola, altrimenti non le trova). Niente piazze o altro.
No map
I just wanted a simple map of all the metro and bus lines. Impossible to find on this app. The app is overly complicated.
Apple Pay
Muy buena la opción de poder comprar billetes desde la app y luego ir a una máquina a cogerlo pero sería perfecto que permitiese pagar con Apple Pay para no tener que estar colocando los datos de la tarjeta manualmente.

The app NEVER works to reload my card - I try countless times and end up always have to recharge at the metro station. Useless.
Not useful
Does not let you use your card if you aren’t from Europe.
Not designed for tourists
I'm sure it works very well for locals who already know how and where they want to go. But it is useless for tourists who need a little help. Best improvement would include being able to choose from lists points of interest. If you need more of a guidebook, don't choose this alone. But recommend because it's station list is up to date, other guides are not.

Es una muy buena aplicación ya que además de ubicarte con el GPS te da información de bus y metro de verdad genial .. Vale la pena bajarla !!!!
Terrible for tourists
The app does almost nothing other than show directions unless you have an account, which largely locks out tourists. You can’t even set favorites such as for your hotel. No need to clutter your iPhone with this app. It’s much easier and flexible to use the transit directions on your phone’s Maps app. The Maps app will also show you the regional Renfe train, such as to the airport, which TMB will not.
Will not accept my international visa
The all will not accept my international Visa card, even though the bank would approve of the transaction. So the app is useless to me. Otherwise, it looks like it would have been great.

Se bloquea muchas veces y sobretodo falta toda la información de los NIT BUS!!! Por lo demás no estaría mal..
beautiful interface
use it every time I go to barcelona... great because it's gps connected so it can point you to bus stops, metro, etc. and, will also give you schedules, etc. only drawback is that it eats up data (esp. for a cost conscious traveler on a data plan...) but, in the end, this is what apps like this are supposed to do... thanks tmb!

Whenever I open the app it never loads. It isn’t functioning.
Unusable
I have never used such a bad public transportation app. No input suggestions. None of the address I fill in work. Poorly done.
Great app poor performance
The app itself is great, if we speak about the GUI , however the app crash very often and don't allow to keep in the background the route you take so when you swich between apps you lose the route . As I said before great app. Ans as a suggestion I would love the app to keep track of you in the background when you ask for it, that way the app will be able to alert you when you're close to your destination.
