please change breed time
once you get to level 7+, the breeding and maturing stage of the current frogs takes so long I can’t even imagine when i’m higher level. it makes you start to lose interest when it starts taking over 12 hours to hatch one egg
VIP doesn’t matter?
I’ve been playing this game on and off for years. And STILL, vip which I got years ago doesn’t work, as I don’t have access to some of the VIP things, the new ones that have been added since I bought it. Like I have to buy it again just to use new features and restoring purchases doesn’t work. which is messed up. Please fix this, I would have rated it 5 stars but now that this is happening, it makes the game not worth it.

I had 29 tanks all full some rare frogs and when you updated you give me someone else’s tanks that was not mine and not my at level. I had a lot of my rare frogs and I can go visit my own tanks 🤬 And you still will not give it back to me. I’ve been fighting you guys for years for it. What is your problem ? Mythical frogs too iffy to get unless you pay for them
I’ve been playing this game on and off for years. I love the game. Even purchased the VIP package. I’m just not liking the Mythical frog mechanic though. I don’t like spending all my time at the pond, hoping to find one, only for the slight chance of obtaining one through the iffy breeding system. I don’t have that much patience. And why should I pay to get any of these frogs? I don’t like that either.
Crash crash crash
I played this game years ago and I love coming back to it. Unfortunately the app now crashes constantly and I can’t even switch between habitats without having to close.

Relaxing game, fantastic support
I’ve played many games and almost never write reviews, but I think this deserved some recognition. I played this game over 10 years ago, then quit for one reason or another. I recently decided to play again, but since I had deleted the app all my data was gone and couldn’t remember nor figure out a way to recover my old account (that was very far along for what was released at the time). I reached out to the support team and they responded within a day, and they continued to message me back quickly throughout my request for account recovery. In the end, they couldn’t find my old account (which is honesty what I suspected might happen), but they offered multiple suggestions and followed through with all the attempts and action items. And quite honestly, that meant more than struggling and waiting for a “maybe” or a non-answer. Thank you, support team. I’m happy to restart my cute frog adventure and continue through all the updates I’ve missed.
Won’t Open
I played this game as a kid and redownloaded it for the nostalgia. When I go to open the app, it won’t load! I’ve deleted it multiple times and redownloaded it and it isn’t working. I had to get it in my iPad and it finally started working, but it won’t let me send frogs to people. How do I make it work on my phone?
Fun game but needs more habitats
I played this years ago on my iPod and suddenly remembered it and redownloaded. I love that there are no ads popping up, and that it is something you can play or forget about for a while without all your progress going away. The only thing I would really love to change is the habitats. I would like an unlimited number of habitats and to be able to buy them whenever you want, not just when you level up. I would like my habitats to look like the froggydex! Plus it is hard to complete the different sets and awards with limited space. That detail alone could make me stop playing because habitats get full and there isn’t much else you can do.
I am disheartened
Pocket frogs is a game that I have been playing for 13 years. I have always loved the simplistic design of the frogs, and how you could just play how you wanted when you wanted to relax and collect frogs, as well as share any ones you found pretty with your friends. I just loved that there weren’t really too many rules or restrictions and that you could really just play however you wanted. When I started seeing pocket frogs having more updates with new frogs and new quality of life updates I was ecstatic. It felt like a long time comfort game of mine was being rejuvenated. But then I saw the froggydex update to where you could buy frogs you don’t have for $1.99 USD each which feels too expensive for a frog. But I figured I might buy a frog or two since I really do love the game and I wouldn’t mind supporting it. Then they added the lotus frogs, the first mythical frog which meant that you could not share it. It honestly feels like a cash grab because you can’t share the frog and you have to hop around in the pond for hours hoping that you find one and, more importantly, hoping that when you breed you get it. Which for one frog I thought alright that’s not too bad, it’s a nice endgame idea. But also having it in the froggydex able to be bought for $1.99 USD felt like the game was becoming pay to win. But now we have four frog species that are like this… such pretty frogs that you cannot share with your friends, you MUST either find it in the pond or spend $1.99 USD to get one. This on top of all of the exclusive scenery is starting to really feel like a drastic change in direction for the game. It is starting to feel extremely grindy, and I just discovered that the time travel that you have been able to do since the game was released is now not only impossible, but supposedly you can be penalized for it and lose your account??? I would understand if this was something the devs didn’t want for them to have made it impossible years ago… but it has been a known method of playing the game for well over a decade. I can not stand how grindy the game is becoming. I am so sad because I loved just casually being able to play when I was super stressed out and just slowly dexing the frogs.. and now it’s like pocket frogs is becoming more demanding of your time and money. I am so disheartened as I feel I am completely losing the only comfort game I have ever had. I just wish I could enjoy playing my pocket frogs again. Thank you

Used to love this game but they (imo) ruined it with the no time traveling there’s over 40k frogs idc if it’s considered cheating how do you expect people to want to keep playing the game when you have to wait about a month to even dex a single breed let alone complete the whole froggydex im ngl I’ve lost interest after that update :/

I guess the app is as fun as it used to be, but I just can’t stand this new trend in advertisements where they basically force a user to interact with an ad. It’s one thing to have to play ads, but to me, it’s another thing entirely to force users to interact with them. To me, it’s the same as if you were forced to put perfume on whenever you pass by a place that gives samples of those, or be forced to eat what the person at the grocery is trying to promote. I’ll give it 2 stars since it’s not technically tiny frogs fault, but on the other hand, it could be solved by a basic timer. 9ie after 1 minute with the add} displayed, it gives you an option to get out of it). One of the ad wouldn’t even let me leave, even though I had the “x“ option.
Good, but needs improvement
Overall, this game is relaxing and is a really fun collectors game, however. I feel like that adding a level 50 frog after level 40 frogs is a huge jump and such a power creep. Especially since time travel is removed and making XP quite difficult to farm and it makes it difficult to catch up

I really like the pattern and color options for the frogs. I also like breeding them for new combos. I also really like collecting background and decor for the habitats. I took off one star because it is frustrating to only have 8 items/decor per habitat. I feel like it limits me too much.

I don’t like the update with the change in visuals for habitat options. It disturbs me in a game about staying the same forever. I hope they switch it back. But I am also glad they kept it in the same aesthetic.

My dad and I started playing this game when I was around 8-10 y/o it seems like. I was just day dreaming and happen to think about this game and needed to look it up to see if it was still running. To my surprise it is and I can’t be more happy. This is a simple and small game that my dad and I happen to love playing together and ended up spending hours on it seemed like. Thank you for the fun and memories :)))
New mythical system sucks

I love the game, I have one award left, 5,000 in my dex. I have noticed that the gifts are few and far between, until my mailbox is full, then the really good gifts miraculously start popping up…. Off to complete my sets anyway!
Was my favourite app until..
Pocket frogs was my favourite app, i didn’t play anything else but now they’ve got this stupid advertisement permanently on the screen and i can’t get rid of it. it’s a picture of potions and coins in the left bottom corner that when you click on it brings you to these ‘games’ that you do to get extra potions or coins- or at least that’s what they say, the games are impossible to complete and are just designed to keep you playing as long as you can, presumably to collect your data, and you never get the potions unless you have a spare two hours to complete that bs. so if it’s not gone in like a day or two i’m deleting the app and no one else should download it because the constant image on the screen completely detracts from the calm energy the app used to have. i’ve been playing pocket frogs since i had an ipod touch 5.
A favourite overtaken by ads
A game that I’ve gone back to time and time again, but now the number of ads is ruining the game play. They’re particularly bad when you can’t close them and get taken out of the game.
My Not So Guilty Pleasure
I will be 70 in a few months. I have played Pocket Frogs for 14 years. I just love it. It is the only game I haven’t deleted after a few months of playing. The premise and play are simple, but it’s still quite addictive. I appreciate that the developers often add new features and updates. I even have a Pocket Frogs coffee mug that I found online.

I used to absolutely love this app. This week, I notice that the icon changed and I open the app. What appears immediately? An ad. The whole reason I’ve always played this game is that it’s relaxing and wasn’t there to take all my money. Now I have to be stressed out everytime I get an ad?!!

Followed the instructions in the email for cloud save. Tried the link on my other device but it didn’t work and tried the code and I got an activation error that read “code is one use and only valid for 24hrs”. I remember playing this game on and off as a kid but yk since i was a kid i got bored easy now that im an adult and work full time it’s nice to not really have to think abt strategy and think 5 steps ahead it’s calming and i love the colors and how cute the frogs designs are! Unplayable
Cant even get through 5 minutes of playing without a pop-up Ad interrupting the game. I get that you need to make money, but the frequency of the ads is unbearable.

This is one of the first games I ever played on an iPhone. Love the graphics, frog noises, simplicity and general cuteness of the froggies. My only complaint is that after all these years it should be automatic iCloud save not the whole email process. PS: please bring back scoops! I miss it so much I’d pay for it!
Disappointed
I’ve tried to play Pocket Frogs twice recently and deleted the app both times. The adds make it incredibly difficult to play. I used to play and really enjoy this game.
Need more habitats
This was one of the first games on my iPod about 12 years ago. The nostalgia is great, but it’s not really playable because of how hard it is to level up and get coins for a new habitat. I want to collect as many frogs as I can but habitats are so expensive which means, for me, there’s no motivation to play. Mailbox and habitats are just full all the time and there’s barely any growth potential.
