Limited In Today’s World
Comparatively, this is basic Windows at best, barely above doss operating. No interactive functions to view policy options, deductible options, or vehicle changes, etc. Many features that would enhance the user experience and let the policyholder drive their premium are missing from this app are built into competitors' apps.

Has never worked
I have been a customer at Alfa for years now. Had to leave when we had to add a 16 yr old driver due to rates. Had a hard time then with the app. We are thankfully back now and the app is even worse. It will not update to show out current policy. I love apps because it allows me to be able to pay from them. Not this o e, will not even pull up my current policy.

Don’t work
Says “This device does not meet the minimum security requirements for this application. Please contact the app publisher for more details. The application will exit when you press OK.”
App stopped working after last update ????
Unable to “Login” to the app .. although Face ID is working. All worked well until last update .. Now unable to check current bill and / or make a payment. App just displays a continuous “swirly” effect on screen when attempting to login. UGH !!
The BEST Agency & Agent
I was told the Alfa would provide me with superior service and rates. I called and spoke with Lori at the Jacob Vail Agency. I have never been treated with such professional service and providing me with a true comparison of my current insurance and with the coverage that Alfa would provide. Lori was so friendly and very knowledgeable in explaining the differences. I was so grateful for her help. When she finished, I saved over 1400.00 in one year. If you want to have the insurance that covers you with worry free Home and Auto, call Lori at the Vail Agency with Alfa on Hwy 280. You will not be disappointed.

Auto Insurance ID Cards
There’s no way to print Auto insurance cards from the Alfa2Go app. I downloaded my cards so I could view the offline but that did absolutely no good. I couldn’t find the cards anywhere while offline. I need a printable copy more than anything.
App needs refreshing
Please get dark mode AND also allow for us to add the id cards to our apple wallets on our iphones such as Geico, progressive, and other competitors. This app is still stuck in the early 2000s.

Ridiculous password
Why does an app to access your insurance cards require such complex password?? I can log into my Social Security and bank accounts with much less headache, also, should an insurance app that REQUIRES you to update it before you can use it on the side of the road to show law enforcement or send to a family member that needs it for a traffic stop or fender bender really necessary??
Keeps freezing up
Keeps freezing up. I get the red circle of death all the time and have to remove and re-install the app every so often.

The glitches
Sometimes it were an easier way to add payment and recurring payments that will actually take it without cancellation. I’ve done it three times which cancels my policy. Whenever it gets updated hopefully there’s a way to fix that. I still get text messages about how I am passed due when I made the payment over the phone the day before. It’s frustrating and confusing.

It’s a same that they can’t make it so that you can pay the bill easily and before it’s actually late.

I don’t get it!
I had a couple of statements from Alfa that I need to pay. The statement encourages customers to pay online using the Alfa2go app. So, I decided to download the app to my iPad. The short version is that after several tries, each time the app would download, but the app icon did not install. There was only a placeholder with the Alfa2go caption. If the developer cannot get something as fundamental as installingj the app logo right, I’m not about to trust the app with my payment info. I don’t understand why a company with an otherwise good reputation would promote this app. Response to developer. First, I see nothing in the App Store description that indicates that that this app is not compatible with iPads. In fact, in the info section it explicitly says “Works on this iPad”. Second, as a now retired life-long developer I have to ask … there are tens of thousands of iOS apps that are compatible with both iPhones and iPads, why would you choose to not make your app iPad compatible also? Third, I like most other senior citizens, find it much easier to use apps on tablets than phones**. Ask around if you don’t believe me. It is a bad look for Alfa to overlook this detail. Especially since they are pushing the use of online access. **Just in case you are wondering: Tablets have larger print, larger keyboards, more info displayed on a page (less info to have to remember). That is just stuff that becomes more important as one ages.
Have to sign in every time
I make sure the “remember me” box is checked but still have to sign in every time I use the app.
Call the 800 number
I deleted the app after I had issues signing in, I thought it was useless. I had to call the 800 to make a payment. The lady I spoke to quickly saw the issue with the app. She got me signed in without any problem! So much easier to make payments!
Paperless
It is ridiculous the amount of premiums that we pay, and the only options to keep from being penalized each month is to go paperless.
Claim submission
Tried multiple times to submit a claim and as soon as I got to the point to upload pictures the app kicked me out and all previously entered data was lost. Finally just called into Alfa and waited for an agent.

The Best Auto Insurance I’ve ever had !!! My whole family has this insurance and we love it!!!!!

Could not easily find a way to change my banking information for payments. Have to call to make sure everything is in order.
Option to print ID Card
This app is slow to load and somewhat difficult to navigate. Would feel more confident with the ability to print my ID Card so that I have a copy in my wallet or vehicle in case the app fails to load.

To hard to log in
I tried to log in on the roadside where they were checking insurance cards and app would not let me in. I knew I was using the right user name and password. Should incorporate facial ID on iPhone. Too many steps to get logged in when you need your insurance info.

A Poor App
This application is lacking. You have to use a PC to add policies versus being able to add them on the app. It will not work on my Android version 14 and it recently started working on my iPad but it will glitch too frequently. They will lose business in an online world. The standard message you get from Alfa is that they are sorry for the inconvenience please call customer support. When you do that, they don’t know what to do. God help you if you go paperless
