What people like
- It works well when you are out of town.
- The weather forecasts are usually accurate and on point.
- The news team provides great coverage for West Tennessee.
What they complain about
- You can't see the current temperature.
- The new design is cluttered and slow.
- Alerts pop up and you can't turn them off.
Great delivery and always on point.
These folks really deliver in a way that dot can understand and respect
Who checking this for accuracy?
Daily lows do not match the lows indicated for each hour. So which one is correct? They are routinely off by 3-4 degrees. If they can’t even match data on two different displays how can we trust the forecast?
Dewpoint and relative humidity are unreliable
Overall a good app, but the developers need to fix the dewpoint humidity on the temperature screen. They are jumbled together where you cannot read them.
Lacks details.
I would like to see more details of the weather forecast than just a brief summary.
The update is bad
The previous version was perfect. Now, the first thing you see is a video of the weather report. I ain’t got time for that. In the old version I could open the app and learn what I wanted to know at a glance. If I had the time and wanted to see the video, I knew where it was. I never once, even now, watch the video of the weatherman. If I have time for more than a glance, my second go to is the radar animation. I’ve lived in Memphis my whole life. I can tel the weather for the next few hours just as good as your meteorologist if I can see the radar animation. And I get that information in seconds instead of minutes. If I want to see the long term forecast, I can punch that up. Again, without ever watching your weatherman. The new ap is more cumbersome and less informative. If that was your goal, good job.
My Favorite News Station
I love WREG News Channel 3. They always provide the best news and weather coverage so everyone can be prepared.
Disappointed
The app jumps around too much. Every time you touch a button it jumps to an add.
Update stinks
The previous version gave the current temperature. This one doesn’t. This version looks the same as all the other weather apps with the exception of the current temperature.
Changes
Don’t like the changes… liked the way it was.
No current temperature reading
I mean, really?? NO current temperature reading?? You got everything on this new weather app but the current temperature, please fix!
Laura Waters
Best news station in the mid south …. I won’t watch nobody else …
Forced ads, what a joke for a business
How do you stay employed being so inaccurate?
Too much
Too much “stuff”crammed onto the front page
WREG
I love the app it help me with thing but first I was going on google to on the news k seen that in was a app of WREG so I just want to say thanks for all you do
Never dependable
Wether on the map today says strong storms 1am until 2 nothing here canceled plains, counting on news 3 .🤬 To see we could have took care of everything! But no we counted on this app to be right! Not the first time ! Moving to a new weather app . That is more dependable that doesn’t change by the minute🤦♀️
Don’t like this app
I liked the old news better. You can’t news on this app.
WREG News Channel 3 Memphis Tennessee
Weather always correct and on point meteorologist are very professional
Terrible Forecasting
The app’s forecasts are constantly changing, very unreliable. Can change multiple times in a day. It appears this is the case with all of these apps and today’s reliance on weather models and computer simulations. I miss the days when humans actually projected forecast that were more reliable.
The app was fine before
And ever since the update, it’s horrible. There was nothing wrong with the previous setup. This is awful.
Appreciate the App
I am out of town tonight and my weather on my phone won't connect. But I was able get the Wreg weather on the app.
New update terrible!
I absolutely HATE the new update. I actually think it’s been out for awhile but I just updated a couple weeks ago. Please put it back the way it was before.
Step Backwards
It was much better before you “upgraded”
Great App.
Love the beauty looks
Worthless
No current temperature. What’s the point? Now I have to use 2 different apps? Who approved this? Considering just deleting it. Takes up space on my phone. I sent an email about it to WREG. Think I got a reaponse? Nope
Booooooooooo
No current temp.
Best weather app!
This is a great weather app for anyone living in west Tennessee are.
Change?
You have changed or updated your app and I do not like the new look at all. Old view much better. Cannot get current info at a glance.
Go back to old version
This updated app version does not give the current temperature. Why? One of the most important things is to see the current temp. It shows humidity and dew point but no current temp.
You have great weather people, but……..
Why do you have Wendy? She is a terrible meteorologist! She gets on my nerves so my badly that I watch Channel 5 when she’s on. The app works great.
the redesign is horrible
Absolutely worthless app redesign. Now any useful information—you know, like the weather, in a Weather App—is either buried halfway down the page, or moved to a different page entirely. The radar has been reduced to a tiny, barely-noticeable bar along the very top, and much of the app’s genuine functionality (looking at radar and conditions) seems to have been sacrificed for the sake of a worthless, enormous video playback slapped front and center on the main screen. If I wanted to watch the weather, I’d turn on the TV. I use an app to quickly check forecasts, lightning strikes, etc., and the WREG app was good for that beforehand, but now it’s basically junk with the new redesign.
New Update is Worse
Instead of fancy can I just see the current temperature when I open the app vs having to hunt for it? You’ve cluttered the app up
My fav weather app
You folks have it all. Accurate ands timely. Thanks
Alerts
Alerts keep popping up and I can’t turn them off. I’m going to delete this app
Where is the current temperature???
WREG weather has always been my favorite weather app, but this new update doesn’t show current temperature and I don’t like that at all. Please correct this issue.
