I love the weather
Used to be good
I’m in the north Georgia / Chattanooga area and used to rely on Channel 3’s weather app every day. Over the last year or so it’s gone downhill to the point I just don’t trust it anymore. This morning at 9am, your app was calling for an 85% chance of rain and thunderstorms around 1pm and more storms after that. A few hours later it had flipped to only a 15% chance of rain and no thunderstorms at all, even though nothing significant changed with the actual weather. Meanwhile, the basic Weather app on my iPhone stayed consistent and has been right all day. This kind of wild swing in the forecast isn’t a one‑time thing — it’s become normal for your app. It feels like the forecast is just bouncing from one extreme to the next instead of giving a reliable picture of what’s likely to happen. For people who work outside, drive long distances, or plan family activities around storms, this is absolutely ridiculous. I’d really like to go back to trusting Channel 3 for local weather, but your app needs serious work. Please review the forecast model you’re using for our area and tighten up the accuracy and consistency, or be upfront about how often it can change so viewers aren’t caught off guard.

Great app as long as we don’t have severe weather in the area, if so I can’t watch the radar myself and make my own calculations to where said weather is located.
Ads interfering with live forecast
I understand ads pay the bills but when dangerous weather is around. I get about 20-30 seconds of the live forecast. Then ad after ad. Missing big chunks of the live forecast. I have no problem with this during regular weather but it is unacceptable during periods of bad weather. When trying to watch the streaming forecast.

I have been using this app for a while and have been happy with it. But now I can’t open it without some stupid ad taking over my screen. I absolutely despise ads and I will be finding another weather app. I flat refuse to have ads taking over my screen.
Where are the lows on 7-day forecast?
The app is very good and I use it frequently, but with this latest upgrade the 7 day forecast no longer shows the low temperatures. I am now using channel 9 app. Bring the lows back!
My thoughts really do matter!!
I use this app a few times a day. I didn’t expect the Easter tornado. Only had 2 minutes to get to my basement that night. This summer I am checking on the temps, and severe storms at times! Great meteorologist, easy app to follow too! A well trust team.❤️ They have saved my life during dangerous weather , too!

Channel 3 of Chattanooga can not predict the weather unless it’s happening at that moment…..which is not predicting the weather….it’s just observing the weather. These “professionals” can’t even get a “Next Day” prediction right except for a once in a blue moon type of thing and a monkey throwing darts at a dart board can pull that off.

Radar has to be the worst! Since the last update, I have to get out of the app and reload just to see the radar. Seems to work fine on the iPads, no the iPhone. Have deleted the app and reloaded multiple time to no avail.

Gets 5 stars. If it works. 3 because only works half the time
Half the time I open the app to check radar and nothing shows up. No rain anywhere. I close the app and reopen it. Rain everywhere. Fix it so it always shows A this is the best weather app on the market.
Lightening icon layer?
What’s with the lightning overlay that never moves or does anything? The stationary icons obstruct the view of the weather pattern movement. If it’s a layer, why can’t I remove it?

Shuts down as soon as it opens
Just updated the weather app. Big mistake. As soon as it opens it shuts down. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no success.

Update doesn’t allow app to open
Last 2 updates were not good for this app. The one released today caused the app not to open. The update before that slowed the app down as well.

This is the best local weather app I’ve used in a long time. I used to have channel 9’s app, but it crashed often and didn’t have all the features that local 3 weather. It is really user-friendly!
